First of all I’d like to tell Karen that it is ok that you came in here about this little girl. I honestly believe that even if this video does turn out to be a hoax, that you are a victim of it as we would be. You appear to me to be a concerned parent worried about the well-being of another chld.

OK next, I emailed that place where you gave me the addy yesterday and no one bothered to email me back so today I emailed Connie herself and I am waiting to hear from her now. What bothers me is if these people are so desperate to find help, how come it takes them so long to respond to a simple email.

Anyway as soon as I hear from her (if I do) we will go forward with this to see if it is for real or another sick, hoax.

I would rather get pissed off at someone playing a hoax than to see this little girl actually be abused like this and no one willing to help. I would eventually get over being played by a hoax, but if a child is being abused this way, she might not ever get over it. We have to remember there are some sick people in this world.

Karen I thank you for bringing this to our attention. One way or another hopefully we will get to the bottom of this and if we can hopefully it will help the little girl or at least stop this sick game someone is trying to play.

Papa - NO ONE in this blog has more passion and tenacity when it comes to children. You have proven yourself to be a champion of the children and a hero to everyone here. I have been asking direct questions all morning and not gotten an answer. What is it (reaction, action, donation, what?) that you have not gotten here?

With a very few exceptions, the reaction has been horror, sympathy and willingness to help (if it’s not a scam). And the kind of research that is being done for free on someone else’s dime and time would cost a LOT if you had to hire it from strangers. So why are you and AnneA so upset and unhappy with this board?

Less than 24 hours ago, Karen brought the situation from the web site and the video to this forum. This time yesterday morning none of us here had ever heard of the horror presented in the story of Aalyiah. Since the initial post, Karen has made 64 subsequent posts beginning with a plea for help and now beginning to threaten to leave if we don’t immediately believe the story to be fact.

AnneA, a valued member of our on line family, appears to have taken offense at any expression of doubt or lack of complete acceptance of this horrible story as fact. You have stated “I am afraid if a person is not formally educated about this or they have no life experience to draw from, they don’t understand.”

I do in fact have a considerable background of formal education, I do admit that none is in this field. However, I RECIEVED A MASTER’S DEGREE IN BEING REPULSED AND HORRIFIED BY THIS TYPE OF ABUSE THE FIRST TIME I HELD MY CHILD. Each and every member of this site received a similar education by loving their children. To suggest a lack of understanding is completely wrong in my view.

Valid questions have been asked. Valid points have been made. To not be able to understand a lack of complete acceptance at this point is simply not a reasonable position to take.
