Haliegh was abducted by someone who has taken her to another,co.,or state.Pedifile. i feel they watched that household,the commings ,an goings.The fact that father was working nights,an young woman was home alone with 2 children.Woods all around,behind home was a good cover in the night.what happened to k9 hitting on scent,following to the river,seeing small foot print.Then scent lead around u shape lead to block,around another an scent was lost at CSX RR TRACK. Some one parked their,took Haligh an left.As a child has been abducted,50 miles from there an killed.Have no suspects,it was a strainger.2 attempted abductions right before that.Misty is the one everyone puts the blame on,gotta blame someone.When theres no anwsers.I dont trust LD test.When a known serial killer passed one.Its just a stress tool.an if a child had went missing on my watch.That calls for stress,an miss readings.Gossip flies when something like this happens.An Misty partying didnt help.Shes no killer.Casey Anthony is.Girl was pooped,cut phone of to keep from fussing,an went to bed. child could have anwsered door,either one.An open opertunity came for child to be snatched.But seems more like brick was placed to hold door while he toated her out.As not being able to manage 2 doors an child.If shes dead,hunter will run across bones.If not hate to think what chids suffering.More than likly dead.Ron was in shock married Misty to find out something,as pleasing her .when no anwsers came divorce.Or to keep from getting state charges because of her age.MY heart breaks for Ron an his mom.They were closest to Haliegh.Misty if someone doesnt get her settled.an love her,she may wind up ODED,or murdered.Haliegh has been forgotten as many others.CASEY AN FAMILY ARE GETTING ALL THE COVERAGE.people love a story full of dirt.Many missing arent being kept in spot light,or searched for anymore.AS people move to the latest,to gossip,an pass judgement on.Shame before God!!! kEEP THESE CHILDRENS PICS.UP,AS TO SOMEONE MAY HAVE SEEN THEM..

I just wanted to reply to something said by “sort of right said”.
You stated that Crystal was no prize mother based on her myspace page and the lack of pictures of Haleigh and Ron Jr.
I have a grandson and he lives with me. His “mother” has pitures and loving notes all over her myspace and facebook pages. If you look at her page you thing her and her 2.5 kids and fiance are a happy loving family. The fact is with my grandson at 3 years old his half brother 6 months and one on the way with mom 5 months along, all with different daddys, they are anything but a happy healthy family. In fact she no longer has custody of my grandson because she almost killed him at least 3 times. If you look at her page she looks like a perfect mom, but she uses drugs and goes from man to man. She owes over 6 grand in child support and lives with a sexual predator. The problem with social networking sites is too many people take what they see at face value and do not seem to understand people lie and manipulate the truth so they look good or they for some reason think no one other than their friends read the page. Crystal may or may not be a good or fit mom. From all I have read she has made mistakes, like we all have. Perhaps the reason for no pictures is that it hurts her too much to be always reminded of her loss. As for the “my brats” comment I have as have many people I know talked like that meaning nothing or said in frustration. I never told my kids they were brats but have called them my brats in a loving way many times.
The fact is Haleigh is still missing, Misty has still not told the truth. No matter what kind of parent any of them are Misty was the one who was supposed to be watching Haleigh.
Everyone was so fast to jump and say poor Ron. Well IMHO poor Ron knows what happend to his daughter as does Misty and Ron’s mother.
I have days I think Haleigh might still be alive and days I think she was dead long before the 911 call. I hope and pray she is still alive.
Also in regards to Ron being fired. As I understood the firing it was because he did not bother to contact his job. Yes he is/was in the news and yes his beautiful daughter is missing but if he has times for tattoos and weddings and trips to New York he could have made a phone call. That is a huge problem with the young people of today thinking they are all that matters. If Haleigh had mattered perhaps she would not be missing.

tlk — thank you so much for responding! I’ve heard the rumors about Crystal and Amber being cousins, but I cannot find a way to document this relationship. You’re right — it is like finding a needle in a haystack! I’ve checked myspace after myspace. Looked on blogs, etc. I can’t find anything. If you happen to find it, I’d be SO grateful! Sorry, LMS for not getting back with you before now. In regards to the question of how Crystal and Amber are cousins… I have seen it posted on several blogs.
One of the families Myspace accounts also had it posted. I should have captured the quotes when I had it, but I failed to do that. I am very new at posting anything, but should have known to document while I had the chance. The info regarding Crystal and Amber is like finding a needle in a hay stack. Could they have deleted this info.?… Anyway, I am going to go another route and find out exactly how they are related. Again, I apologize and will try to get this information posted correctly!

I think the “well intentioned” disappearance theory is mainly wishful thinking.

IMO, Haleigh died before she was reported missing, either at the hands of Messed Up Misty, Raging Ron, or both.

Their totally inappropriate marriage (because that’s what Haeligh would have wanted HA!) sealed the deal for me.

Raging Ron’s family needs to open their eyes and stop the deflecting onto the Bio Mom/Child Support etc ad nauseum.

ITA with you that Crystal is no prize Mother (I say this because of her original Myspace that had virtually no mention or pics of Haleigh & Jr. - all about the new baby and one of the only reference to ALL 3 of her kids were as “brats.”) Crystal evidenced virtually NO interest in either child in Ron’s custody IMO, and certainly not enuf interest OR intellect to pull off this abduction of only ONE of the too.

So yeah, I believe that the Grandparents dearly loved Haleigh (both sides) but please don’t make a$$es of yourselves like the Grandparent Anthony’s. Be a VOICE for Haleigh - the Cummings Family needs to beat the truth out of Ron.

Thanks so much for the update here - virtually nothing on the net for Haleigh anymore.

PS to Ron: While you’re waiting for the body to be found/arrested and jailed for murder . . . sounds like now would be a good time to organize a UNION at your workplace. Total BS that you were fired, no matter how I feel about you as either a murderer or accomplice - you are innocent to proven guilty.

Since Ron’s original statement on TV “she’s not property she’s my child (loosely translated)”, I have always felt he knows who took this child and that she was taken for a drug debt..

I feel Haleigh’s dissapearance was planned and initiated by family member’s who probably thought it was in the child’s best interest that they remove her from a supposedly, abusive and damaging enviroment. There seems to always be a hidden agenda in the midst of the drama, trauma, and accusations.
There is more information regarding the life and times of the not so rich and famous, Misty and Ron Cummings than on anything else in this case. I agree, in an attempt to establish a timeline one has to look at every piece of the puzzle that has any relevance to this case. I believe Misty’s life is pretty much an opened book and not to hard to figure out. She has made her share of poor choices and mistakes. Misty’s circle of friends seems to be another poor choice. One of them is not only Ronald’s ex girlfriend but also Crystal’s cousin. with friends like these who needs enemies? Has Misty’s friends helped to set her up? It sure seems like it! Misty certainly has been dubbed as the scape goat. After all, she reportedly was the last one to see Haleigh.
I was once involved in a case where a mom took off with her infant child, and they were missing for over three years. Someone recognized the mom on America’s Most Wanted and contacted authorities. The child was placed in DFACS custody, an investigation completed, (mother claimed the child was in danger of abuse from the father), mom was extridicted back to her home state and was held in custody, awaiting trial on charges of kidnapping. The father was finally reunited with his daughter. Needless to say it was a traumatic experience for the child. My point is, regardless of the reason’s for kidnapping a child, it is against the law. Not only that, it can be very damaging to the child’s emotional well being. There are other avenues a person can take in protecting children from abuse, without committing a criminal act.
I think that it’s only a matter of time before Haleigh is found; Alive and well, I hope!

Marcia I agree in regards to Crystal. I do no think she had ahything to do with it but mroe Misty. It was hard to see Misty’s fake tears and voice when they were interviewing her at the beginning. She so remindeed me of Susan Smityh’s look and the sound of her voice just sent chills down my back and made me think so much of Susan Smith’s interview. She had her eyes closed the entire time…..

Thank you for keeping everyone informed of the progress of the investigation. I too think about Haleigh and what happened to her. It is such a sad situation I pray that everyone can find out soon as to what happened to her. It is one of a parents worst fears that someone could take your child. I do not think Crystal had anything to do with Haleigh’s disapperance I do think Ron does though. It is not by any hard evidence but something I felt as I spoke to each just days after Haleigh went missing.

my heart aches for haleigh, i don’t understand why there has’nt been anyone arrested yet. it seems to me this is a cut and dry case!!!!!!!! I really hate to think what this child induled, god knows what the person or persons done to her and in the end they will pay. and may they rot in hell.

I am so glad I found this website. I think of Haleigh almost every day wondering if they have found her. The media quit reporting on her and I feared that no one was still looking for her.

I am quite certain you are right about theory #4-people who know her have taken her. I am quite certain that Misty and Haleigh’s mother are at the center of her disappearance. Haleigh’s mother bribed Misty somehow- knew something that Misty was doing that was very bad and used it to take Haleigh. When Ron found his child missing, and heard all of the holes in Misty’s story- that is when Ron was told the truth. The marriage is part of the cover up. Now they are all scrambling for contingency. There are people involved who think Haleigh should not live to continue the cover up, but her loved ones are fighting it. No one expected it to get this much attention. That is my theory. The 911 call info was released by 4/22 and is posted on the Art Harris website. Ronald Cummings nor Junior went to the door. Ronald was allegedly seen in the parking lot - and not by the grandmother that made the call. The “thin black man” showed up an hour later - and was not linked to Ronald. Mr. Hart had to know this by the time he sent you the updates. It leaves me to wonder if someone is intentionally spreading false information on Mr. Cummings and for what reason? Is it to divert our attention from the truth?
