Should be alot more interesting at the TBan approach the nuclear weapons. I can't see this as a test of the new adminstration, though. More like the end game of a war which had progressed through the last two decades or so.. Or even three. Or even back to the colonial battles for control of the Khyber pass. I just hope the Paki's have the sense to destroy their weapons in place before they are overun and/or the goods are taken.
Think about that one for a minute. You are a commander of a bunker in pakistan which has special weapons, are you going to ride the flame or buy your way out with who ever provides the most money or greatest threat? Let's hope Hillary has the war chest well funded on her trip.
damm, we didn't learn a single thing from vietnam. Leave the insurgeants an escape route and they will come back and bite us on the ass. This time though, the bite may be a bit more severe, than losing a country without nukes which was happier without us.

Pakistan has always been divided by along tribal lines. The conflict in Afghanistan primed the pump for Pakistani militants who are exploiting tribal differences, and the semi-autonomous nature of Pakistani regions to expand their control of the region. The recent adoption of Sharia law in Swat marked the beginning of what I suspect will be a sustained and probably successful attempt by these militant groups to overthrow the current Pakistani social oder one region at a time. There is a really great story about this on newsy.com,
