Very well put. We are one of those families that made the indisposable, disposable. I look back at the last 5 years and we wasted more than we consumed. We quieted the kids with their own t.v.'s and video games, and we are paying for it now. But I believe in change and we are choosing to go back to basics, as much as possible in this evolving world we live in. There is so much to be learned if we were just more willing to get our hands dirty and spend some time outdoors, in the garden, riding our bikes, exploring the field across the way. I would love to hear what other families are actually doing to change the way they not only live in the moment but even more so change the way they think. We must change our mindset because fads come and go. There is so much opportunity in today's world to actually re-do what we have done, I am an optimist who is learning to cook, bake, grow my own tomatoes and play monopoly again, chess will take some time. How dependant I have become on the people, not the world around me.
