The recent outbursts of Vaiko openly coming out in support of Eelam raises a doubt. What makes him so bold? Why is it that the Tamil Nadu Government not arresting him? Why is Jayalalitha herself is tolerating him?
Is it because they are all looking at the forthcoming elections and the adverse fallout if action is taken against Vaiko?
Is Vaiko himself provoking the law enforcement so that he could be arrested and the arrest itself can be used as an excuse for large scale unrest in parts of Tamil Nadu?
Coming close on the heels of a near elimination of LTTE cadres in Sri Lanka, a doubt crosses our mind. Has Prabhakaran crossed over to India and trying to re group from India?
We should not forget that the forests of Tamil Nadu sheltered Veerappan for decades and with the possible support of a section of community, if Prabhakaran decides to take refuge, the most likely place is in Tamil Nadu forests.
Just as Osama Bin Laden sheltered in Pakistan is slowly eating away the country, LTTE has the potential to take over some parts of Tamil Nadu and use it as a launch pad for its actions. The Government of India should think of all drastic steps as may be necessary including imposing President’s rule in Tamil Nadu to prevent any untoward developments.Businessmen who have stakes in southern parts of Tamil Nadu need to develop contingency plans in case LTTE influence spreads.
Is our Home Minister Chidambaram taking note?
This is only a speculation at this point of time but too disturbing not to be brought to the notice of the Government.

Veerappan was in the forests of Karnataka and not Tamil Nadu. Prabhakaran will live in the hearts of all Tamils that is the truth. He is the bravest Tamil that the world has ever seen and he will always inspire us.

Hello Tamil4Ever, the author understand the conflict all to well. Prabhakaran in Tamil Nadu will be a cancer to Tamil Nadu. All economic development will stop and the LTTE will start asking for Tamil Nadu to be converted into a Eelam. Do your research LTTE is against cast system - that seems like an righteous idea but they are against brahmins calling them ‘papanar’ i.e aryans or whites. The LTTE have planned and caused division between the Sinhalese and Tamils with attacks on civilian population in the beginning of their movement.
I am a Tamil who believes in the Veera Varalaru of our great people. I hold the Tamil language and its culture close to my heart. But LTTE is not a Tamil conflict, its started as a movement for equal rights for Sri Lankan Tamils but it has grown into a beast with a series of mistakes by the LTTE, Sri Lanakan govt., India’s IPKF , Tamil Nadu’s DMK, PMK and now Viko and the other Tamil political parties of Sri Lanka.
My heart goes to the Tamil speaking and Sinhalese speaking victims of this conflict.

This Terrorist is a cancer .. Prabhakaran i mean. We should not let this peice of crap come to our country and sow the seeds of division in our country too. He destroyed SriLanka with all this talk and criminal action, and did not let it progress. We should not let him come to india to do the same. The amount of lives he has finished in Sri Lanka for no useful purpose other than running a terrorist business is sinful to say the least. He is actually getting his cadres to shoot innocent tamils trying to leave the conflict area. This guy should be hanged for being such a terrorist.
