Lorim… I’m with you…. the taking of the computer and phones is pretty fishy… I don’t think they could have obtained a warrant for those items without some pretty good evidence against Lawless or the people in that house.

The ants search warrants…once after her arrest cause she lived there with the baby and the parents..and the second after the body was found casue they found something that directly related back to the ants house at the crime scene!

Tracy LE has to have something linking the pator…they don’t just spring search warrants on random people!

If the tape from the baby’s skull matches that tape with the labels printed on it, thats about as strong a piece of direct evidence as I’ve heard yet in this case. I’m waiting on a reply from Hinkel now as to where tape with the labels is sold.

Police said a coroner’s report on the cause of death for the 8-year-old Tracy girl has not been completed, but a source with knowledge of the investigation said the girl’s body had no visible signs of trauma on initial examination.

Police have also asked that all future warrants in the case be sealed, said Sgt. Tony Sheneman at a press briefing Wednesday morning.

Officials are remaining tight-lipped about the case, and have executed 15 search warrants and interviewed numerous people.

Sandra disappeared March 27 after playing with a friend in the Orchard Estates Mobile Home Park. Her body was discovered Monday morning stuffed inside a large black suitcase that farm workers found submerged in a pond just two miles from Sandra’s home.

All 25 employees in the department’s investigation division have been assigned to the case, as well as others from the patrol division, Sheneman said Wednesday.

Investigators with children have been deeply affected by the case and said it was very difficult for them when the rolling piece of luggage was opened and girl’s body found inside.

The department “feels a great deal of pressure” in the case and has interviewed numerous people, including Lane Lawless, 77, pastor of the Clover Road Baptist Church.

The department is not focusing on any one person, adding “we don’t want anyone tried in the press.” Police said Lawless was not a suspect and no arrests were imminent.

Interviews are continuing today, he said, and warrants could arise from those interviews.

“We’ve seen them a little younger and we’ve seen them older,” Candace DeLong told KRON 4’s Vicki Liviakis. “It’s someone who is known to the victim. Rarely are these types of crimes, the abduction and murder of a child, a complete stranger to the child.”

DeLong spent 20 years in the FBI, eventually becoming head field profiler in the Bureau’s San Francisco office and as a member of the Child Abduction Task Force. She says the killer might have left clues including fingerprints on the suitcase in which the remains were found.

“The investigators will be able to glean a lot of information from that suitcase,” the former profiler said. “Water washes away a lot of evidence when a body is submerged or floating in water but the suitcase probably helped preserve some evidence. In addition to that, there could be some things in the suitcase that will help the police as well as fingerprints in or on the outside of the suitcase. Water does not wash away fingerprints on the surface of things.”

Years ago, I was not too much older than this little girl, and my family, my little sis and I lived 1/4 a mile away from this.

There was a little girl, Mikelle Biggs and her little sister got on their bikes to see the ice cream man. They had change in their hand. The little sister got cold while waiting for the ice cream man, she went home really fast to grab a jacket, came back and saw her sisters bike, and change on the ground but no sister to be found.
Now i forget exactly how many years it been, but well over 10.
They never ever found her, or her killer.
There have been reports that the family moved, and believe they know who did it…
There has been no leads or evidence.
What if this happens to Haleigh?

The things with the kids and violence killing one another just bothers me alot…it gets to my core its a good passionate discussion…!! ♥

Pickles / All… I’m by no means saying these kids need lighter sentences or off with a slap on the wrist… I’m TRYING to say that I don’t understand why these kids get these stiff penalties, and rightfully so, but these chimos don’t. I don’t understand it! How do these chimos get out after a couple of years? Why are they paroled? Who is giving them parole and WHY?

Couey alleged in an audio/videotaped confession that he had abducted, raped, and murdered Jessica Lunsford.[1] A judge ruled on June 30, 2006 that Couey’s audio/videotaped confession was inadmissible in court because, at the time the confession was recorded, police had not granted Couey’s requests for access to a lawyer, thereby rendering the confession invalid and unreliable under the Fifth and Sixth Amendments. Over Couey’s objection, the trial court ruled that all evidence collected after the confession, including the recovery of Lunsford’s body, would be allowed in court, as would any incriminating statements allegedly made by Couey to investigators and a jail guard.[2]

Couey’s confession alleged the following:

Couey entered Lunsford’s house through an unlocked door at about three o’clock in the morning, awakened Lunsford, told her “Don’t yell or nothing,” and told her to follow him out of the house.[3]

Couey occupied a trailer along with two women, 100 yards (91 m) away, at the time of Lunsford’s abduction.[4] He admitted in a videotaped and recorded deposition to raping Lunsford in his bedroom. Lunsford was kept in Couey’s bed that evening, where he raped her again in the morning. Couey put her in his closet and ordered her to remain there, which she did as he reported for work at “Billy’s Truck Lot”.[3] Three days after he abducted her, Couey tricked Jessica into getting into two garbage bags by saying he was going to ‘take her home’. He instead buried her alive as he decided he could do nothing else with the girl. He said he ‘Didn’t want people seeing him and Lunsford across the street.’

On March 19, 2005, police found Lunsford’s body at a residence located on West Sparrow Court, buried in a hole approximately 2 1/2′ deep and 2′ circular, covered with leaves. The body was removed from the ground and transported to the coroner’s office. Her body had undergone “moderate” to “severe” decomposition and according to the publicly released autopsy reports was skeletonized on 2 fingers that Lunsford had poked through the bags before suffocating to death. The coroner ruled that death would have happened even in best circumstances within 2-3 minutes from lack of oxygen

Tracy Police Sgt. Tony Sheneman told reporters Wednesday that investigators haven’t recovered the instrument used to murder Sandra Cantu, but said her death is being classified as a homicide.

Can you imagine her horror, fright, panic,etc!!

Lorim… in that other article that church dude said the suitcase was reported stolen the day Sandra went missing. Doesn’t sound like any police report was made so that dude was lying. The suitcase came out of Lawless’ home … now they say it was stolen…maybe… maybe not. Maybe they are just SAYING it was stolen after the fact. Still not looking good for the Pastor! I guess someone in the part could be trying to frame the pastor but the fact that they took his phones and computer seem a little suspicious that there is more to the Pastor than meets the eye.

Now, a couple months back, a 8 year old boy in a small town here in AZ. (Ive never been to)shot his Dad, and his Dad’s roomate with a shotgun killing them both.
Neighboors heard the shots, called police and they arrived quickly. At first he was not considered a supsect.
So, when in custody the dectives did something wrong. Not only was he not accompanied by a parent/ guardian, he was not read his rights.
They began to question him anyway, not thinking they would hear what they heard.
They asked if there was a gun in the house, if he had access to it, if he knew how to shoot it, etc.

At first the boy said…I came home from school, and saw his dad and room mate bloody and suffering. He said he went outside to see one of his neighboors down the street that are “loud, and cuss, and drive really fast” drive away in their blue car and speed. He said, I think they did it.
They then said, you know…When you shoot a gun, gun powder will be on the shooter. His response was, i think the bad guys shot them and the smoke went into the air, and when I got home I walked through it. This led to…His confession;

He had repeatedly been being spanked, for some time by his Dad. He decided that once he reached 1,000 spanks from his Dad (which he kept tally of) he would kill him. He said that his Dad arrived home from work, and the little boy was at the top of the stairs, he shot his dad in the head and chest. His Dad’s room-mate was outside on the phone, the little boy then called the room-mate in, and did the same EXACT thing to him.
Now the sick part is, he had to reload the gun each time he shot. This little boy knew how to shoot because of his Dad. Im assuming in the small town up there, theres nothing to do, so their hobby was hunting, but 8 years old??? FAR TOO YOUNG! The little boy said when he shot his Dad the first time, he saw him suffering, and bloody and decided to make the suffering stop.
After the little boys confession, the detective asked him what he was thinking…
The boy said, im going to juvi.
Since, nothing has really been released, now of course they wont release his name, or where a bouts, or a picture.
What do you do with an 8 year old like that!?

I think the boy was fighting back, so he killed him. The little girl was in some light night place eating with him and a VERY ALERT WAITRESS called Police - recognizing her? He is in jail, I hope getting his!!!!

One of the worst of the worst. Now what will her little mind be worth … as she grows up? Mother killed, her boyfriend killed, and her brother by her RAPIST! I couldn’t live with all of that …

Several rumors associated with the piece of black luggage have spread among residents of Orchard Estates Mobile Home Park, where little Sandra lived. Some residents have said that the pastor’s wife, Connie Lawless, or her daughter, Joni, left the rolling suitcase on their home’s driveway for a few minutes when someone took it.

No suitcase was reported missing to police, Sheneman said.

Lotts was sentenced in Missouri’s St. Francois County Circuit Court in 2002 to life in prison without parole for first-degree murder in his stepbrother’s stabbing death.

It made no difference that at the time of the deadly scuffle, Lotts was barely old enough to watch PG-13 movie and too young to drive, vote or buy beer.

“They locked me up and threw away the keys,” Lotts, now 23, said from prison. “They took away all hope for the future.”

His stepmother, the victim’s mother, has forgiven Lotts and is working with lawyers to gain his release.
Lotts is one of at least 73 U.S. inmates — most of them minorities — who were sentenced to spend the rest of their lives in prison for crimes committed when they were 13 or 14, according to the Equal Justice Initiative, a nonprofit organization in Alabama that defends indigent defendants and prisoners.

The 73 are just a fraction of the more than 2,000 offenders serving life sentences for crimes they committed as minors under the age of 18.

Across the country, most juvenile offenders and many adults are given a second chance. Charles Manson, convicted in seven notorious murders committed when he was 27, will be eligible for his 12th parole hearing in 2012. He’s been denied parole 11 times. Even “Son of Sam” killer David Berkowitz, who confessed to killing six people in the 1970s when he was in his 20s, has had four parole hearings, though he has said he doesn’t deserve parole and doesn’t want it.

But Quantel Lotts has no hope for a parole hearing.

Yup, our justice system is severely flawed…and the above article is just more proof of it. We got sicko chimos in and out of jail like it’s a Wal-Mart super center…. crime after crime, in and back out to commit another crime… yet these 13 and 14 yo kids get no chance for parole… how does that make sense?

It’s “Hinkel” Duct Tape. Maybe the spelling will help you in your searches. I found a blog on the web which says: “What really holds the USA together.” - Duct Tape! It’s in German, but mentions the Hinkel brand. (If you find anything which looks interesting, let me know if you need translating.)

If all these church people live in this trailer park then the suitcase was taken by someone in that park…. I don’t think Pastor Lawless is off the hook yet! Neither is this Sinclair dude.

Sinclair, 49, was arrested, cited and later released last week on suspicion of interfering and obstructing justice, a Tracy police spokesman said.

Williams said that the mysterious black suitcase Cantu was found in was reported stolen by another congregation member the same day Cantu disappeared.

“That suitcase was to go to the church for a rummage sale with some stuff in it and the person put it somewhere, either in the back of a car somewhere. But anyway, when she came back out the suitcase was gone,” Williams said.

The suitcase was reported stolen the day that Sandra went missing? Is there a police report? I bet not! Who had access to that suitcase? THAT’s where LE needs to start! Whoever stole that suitcase is your killer!
