yaar…why so much discussions … everyone knows that SRK is a devil…remember what he did when hrithik was launched…he is very insecure…he just wanted to be no.1…by any means…he danced in award ceremonies to get best actor award…that is why aamir dont accept these awards…he paid channels & agencies to promote him…also defame other stars(salman)….he is not a king khan…he is KING KONG…i firmly believe that he & his friends are disease to film industry…which has to be cured..another thing…his six packs…man he looks like a MAJDOOR..digging roads…also he promoted it like anything…god utha le….mujhe nahin….

Firstly, I think this whole issue is pointless. I don’t think Gavaskar or for that matter Shah Rukh can be judgemental about anything. The whole issue is prosaic and blown out into a billion pieces - appearing nothing less significant than innuendoes.

Let’s just wait and watch to see how KR performs in the future, which by the way looks firmly like Cr&p —they’re almost on the bottom of the pile - so much for jeet bole jeet bole and jeet jayenge(yes shah Rukh guess you had better change those lyrics first - there are people out there laughing at it and your immaturity). As for Gavaskar - Sir, please do yourself a favour and apply thy knowledge to worthier causes - what this team does is their business, just let go.

In short let’s see who wins the IPL…and judge whether that anthem of KKR or the issue of a 100 monkeing captains is the issue…

Gavaskar cannot keep insulting people and not expect an insult in return. SRK doesnt mess with anyone for fun (and everyone knows Gavaskar gets a kick out of it)

If people are agreed that shah rukh khan can comments in a way he commented on Sunil Gavaskar then in future Film star Govinda can come forward and say that Dilip Kumar cannot comment on him because he invested in a film and makeit, if Dilip Kumar does not like his film then he should make a film see it and like it.
This is shamefull that now a days people like shah rukh khan who perform at parties by dancing and earning his livelyhood by entertaining people are criticising people like Sunil Gavasker who representing The most respseted sport that is cricket the gentlemens game.
Money has spoiled even educated people that is the reason Shah rukh criticises Gavaskar and more bad is that we are debation on this.

SRK is not et al arrogant. He clearly mentioned in his speech tat he respects Gavaskar a lot . He was only protecting his team n coach from unnecessary controversies. N SRK din actually criticise Gavaskar’s suggestion . he said fisrt we should give some breathin space for Multiple captancy n den see. But no as usual ppl r stuck at his one statement tathe asked Gavaskar to buy his own team . Grow up guys n search for some meaninful controversies

I think, India is a free country and everyone has freedom to express his views. Gavaskar did not do anything wrong here. He has right to criticise and so is true for Shahrukh khaan. He can criticise Gavaskar if he didnt like the comments but no one needs to buy a cricket team to make comments or criticise. That was redicoulous statement made by Shahrukh Khaan. I agree with Naavi that Khan’s comment was totally off the mark.
It is like asking a renowned film critic to make a film if he criticizes an actor !

But I strongly disagree with Naavi on the comments he makes on Sourav. Dada was at his best phase in cricket when he was forced to retire by the cunning politician bosses of Indian cricket. As many have pointed out he has done well personally in last IPL season. And he certainly cant be blame for team’s losses when the top players left midway or were injured last season.

I have to agree with those who write that SRK is not arrogant, and that people should watch the video before commenting…nobody is more respectful of cricketing legends than Shah Rukh.

Also, SRK DOES know a bit about cricket…he was captain of his school cricketing team and has retained an avid interest in the sport since then.

Shah Rukh always works for the advancement of all sports, not for his own ego. He wants to innovate and bring T20 to the masses…

Have you actually read Gavaskar’s column before you write this? It was really heavy-handed and it sounds like a personal attack against Buchanan. I’m not an Indian and when I read it, to me it seems to drip with racial sentiment against Australian coaches.

And Saurav didn’t cause this issue of Pro Ganguly and Anti Ganguly.. it’s the fans and media that did it.

Shah Rukh’s reply to Gavaskar was apt. He was polite and logical. Why did Gavaskar attacked the idea of multiple-captaincy so vociferously in the first place? If it had been voiced by the coach of Deccan Chronicle’s team, would he have bothered to even comment about it in first place?

Gavaskar is a great player and what he said abt buchanan is absolutely right. Pls read what Mcgrath has said today abt buchanan’s theory first. Very few accept his theories. multiple captaincy is not just undermining ganguly’s stand but also will create problems for the other locals in the team who may find it difficult to gel with a foreign captain. Btw, ganguly also won 3 MOM last IPL and all 3 times has single handed won for his team. SRK must hv actually got upset more with the comment that buchanan was milking the team (cld be true) since that makes him look foolish. I wld still say that gavaskar knows better. And also SRK made more money than others last yr bec. of the crowd who attended due to ganguly. Im sure if IPL was held in India, buchanan wld not hv mentioned abt this multiple theory n neither srk support it bec they know then the stands wld be empty.

I’m amazed at Naavi’s knowledge of cricket.Does he know that Saurav was the most economic bowler in the last IPL and scored highest runs for KKR ?
As for going ‘above the hill’ on the age issue, does he know ages of Warne,Mcgrath,Jayasuriya or Sachin ? What was Sachin’s contribution in last IPL vis-a-vis Dada ? When will Indians will raise above regional bias ? In respect of age,what is true for Sachin , has to be true for Ganguly as well.

who is saying that sourav is on the other side of hill as far as 20 20 cricket is concerned…u can watch his record in 20 20 ….he is in top 25 list of run getters in 20 20. he was the most succesful bowler in IPL in terms of economy..last year….and in case of srk’s arrogancy i dont tink he is arrogant….anyone can be freustrated if someone says about his team evn u can be frustrated ………SOURAV GANGULY is the most successful captain in indian history till now now body can question mark his leadership skills

Shahrukh khan is not arrogant and neither did he insult Mr. Gavaskar. You should know that Shahrukh khan said he respected gavaskar a lot and he has all the right to commment on anything he wants. but he is the owner of the team, he is the entrpreneur and the risk taker who has put in a lot of money for success and since he didn’t get it the traditional way they are trying new things which should be seen as positive and not frowned upon before they are tried out. Mr. Gavaskar went saying that buchchanan is bringing queensland army and that how the owner was being milked and hoodwinked. Shahrukh khan is a very intelligent person and businessman. that is why even in the last ipl, he was the only one who earned profits despite losing.so please give the idea a breathing space and give the guy(SRK) some breathing space and don’t keep taking potshots at him just becoz u don’t like him.
