It was 3 sisters ages 5 - 10 then when i was 18 i ended up on workman's comp for 3 years... I babysat my infant cousin for awhile and then my sister's best friend that i grew up with son that was an infant too... not on my watch but he fell down the stairs in his walker and it freaked him out that he wasn't developing correctly, was scared... the dr said he needed to crawl before he walked or he'll have issues later.... so i worked with that baby daily to get him to crawl then walk and everything else... Took him to dr appts, i was his mom during the day... All the kids i babysat at a young age excelled because it wasn't about plopping them down in front of the TV, you have to teach them, mold them when they're like sponges and want to learn it... I looked at it as these are my kids from this time to this time and i was on them like white on rice... sorry if the subject changed but i had work to do... damn it... lol i started babysitting after school at 14… It was 3 sisters ages 5 - 10 then when i was 18 i ended up on workman’s comp for 3 years… I babysat my infant cousin for awhile and then my sister’s best friend that i grew up with son that was an infant too… not on my watch but he fell down the stairs in his walker and it freaked him out that he wasn’t developing correctly, was scared… the dr said he needed to crawl before he walked or he’ll have issues later…. so i worked with that baby daily to get him to crawl then walk and everything else… Took him to dr appts, i was his mom during the day… All the kids i babysat at a young age excelled because it wasn’t about plopping them down in front of the TV, you have to teach them, mold them when they’re like sponges and want to learn it… I looked at it as these are my kids from this time to this time and i was on them like white on rice… sorry if the subject changed but i had work to do… damn it… lol

Let her know that there are TERRIBLE people out there. Tell her NOT to go quietly if someone grabs her... tell her to scream, kick and fight like hell. John Walsh did a great piece on AMW once.... tips for kids about being abducted. Things like if they are on their bike and someone pulls up in a car and tries to pull them in the car to NOT let go of the bike. Wrap your feet around it and hang on for dear life. They'll most likely give up when they can't get the kid and the bike in the car. Also tips on how to pull the wiring on the tail lights if you are put in a trunk so that the lights won't work and they'll get pulled over or how to bust out the tail light area so you can stick your hand out and wave in hopes another motorist will see you and call 911. You can search the net for a lot of great tips for kids but they won't do any good unless you share them with your kids. I hope she didn't suffer. This madness has GOT to stop. The laws MUST change. I hope they are on the trail of the person who did this. When my son was almost 2 I tried daycare.... he came home sick, dirty, cranky and unhappy every day. The last one I tried was the worst. I picked him up early and he was in a soggy diaper, had diaper rash, was FILTHY, and was screaming and crying when I got there and no one was paying any attention to him. I had been trying to potty train him and had good luck at home but they just threw a diaper on him because it was easier. I vowed never to use daycare again and never did.
