A very significant point here - many otherwise apathetic web surfers and PC users have been made aware - and not just of Conficker. Constant reminders from us bloggers and the security product providers probably have had less of an impact than the recent Media frenzy. Now to get the newly aware to do the right things to protect themselves is another big challenge.
