I am angry, livid, sickened, and to say the very least have had enough of this situation. And I am very surprised that it has been allowed to continue as long as it has. How many more children have to die? How many more children have to be abducted before the people that are supposed to protect us AND our children actually DO it? First of all, the small to laughable punishments that get doled out to these sickos is a disgrace. And I don’t care if they have mental issues. I don’t care! That does not give them the right, to have the chance, to repeat the same gross behavior. As far as I am concerned this pervert is just as bad. Is it that he just has not been caught for something worse, or just taking longer to go from masturbation to murder?
One of the most frightening things is this map, which is a little confusing to me, but shows an alarming number of sex offenders per state. If I am reading it correctly shows there are 673,989 “registered” sex offenders in the United States(I would be scared to know the number that would include those not registered). And they are living where ever they like, it seems. And in the majority of cases living within 5-20 miles of schools, and that means children. How in the name of sanity is that allowed? What has to happen? If Nancy Grace had one of her darling children abducted and murdered would she do more to influence a change instead just cashing in on it? If the Governor of a state had a child murdered and raped would that be enough to force a more strict and permanent solution to this problem? Mr Obama, if one of your children was abducted and murdered would 6 months to a year be suitable punishment? What about 2 years, is that enough?
It seems that every week there is at least one more case of a missing child, and yes not all of them involve sex offenders, just the ones that turn up dead. And nor do I think it is someone else’s problem. It is happening everywhere. The current laws and system of dealing with these offenders is not working. there is Too much repeat offending.
If you do not want stronger laws and permanent isolation of these criminals, you have never had a child abducted and murdered, and you don’t fear for the safety of children everywhere. I can guarantee you that voices against that idea never screamed in grief when hearing their baby was killed by a pervert. But those same people say they believe in Justice. Justice for who exactly? The victim? Nope, too late for that. The parents of the victim? Hardly, 10 minutes alone in a room with the guilty party would be a start for most. I am not advocating vigilantism, or any form of it. But I do think it is about time the criminals, get treated differently than the victims.
The recent discovery of the murdered Sandra Cantu in Tracy California is the most recent example of this horrific crime. This sweet innocent little girl was seen skipping and happily enjoying life one minute, and less than 2 weeks later found dead, murdered, in a suitcase floating in a farmers field. These crimes are happening all over the World and it has to stop. Now.
Please contact everyone you can think of to force an end to treating these criminals with kid gloves. They can not be cured, and remain a permanent threat to our way of life. Sex offenders present a clear and present danger to the safety and well being of our children.

Gregory Page Shines Light on Some Things; Shuts the Door on Others
The black guy known as “Greg” who may or may not be the same person as the mysterious “man in black” seen by Haleigh Cummings’ little brother, Ronald, has talked with investigators, both in law enforcement and with private investigators. William “Cobra” Staubs and investigating However, he did shed some light on the Haleigh Cummings investigation, especially concerning Misty Croslin Cummings.
According to an interview with Art Harris, Gregory Page, 28, is the black man that many witnesses have referred to as “Greg” in the investigation. He admitted to Harris that he had had a sexual fling with Misty Croslin the weekend before Haleigh went missing (February 9 – 10). They had partied together, doing drugs and consuming copious amounts of alcohol.
Gregory Page also admitted to having an extensive arrest record, but almost all of the charges (many drug related) had been dropped. “I’m light-complected, had a white father and my mother is black, so they call me ‘White Boy’ on the street,” Page said in his interview.
But he insists that he was not with Misty Croslin the night Haleigh Cummings disappeared.
For what it is worth, Art Harris said that police and private investigators believe him.
So if the black person who was the “man in black” was not Gregory Page, and by not being with Misty Croslin on that night could not be the man that made the couch “bounce” in 4-year-old Ronald Cummings’ recollection of the events of that night, then who is the African-American that visited that night? Or was there anyone at all, the police chasing down dead leads because the “man in black” never existed in the first place, simply the overly helpful suggestions of an impressionable young boy simply wanting to help his parents and the police find his missing 5-year-old sister.
Harris’ sources told him that Misty had also admitted that she and Gregory Page had been together.
Page said that she had wanted to go back and patch up her relationship with Ronald Cummings. And that was the end of it.
So where does that leave the police on the Haleigh Cummings investigation?

I read something on the last post that kind of pissed me off.
I have done everything possible to protect my kids, except hand cuff them to me and my husband. They are going on 11 and 13 yrs old this summer. We have even educated them and they watch these shows with us about these missing kids. After hearing this morning about Sandra, They didn’t want to walk 5 feet to the bus stop with their friends. I can see them from my window, yet, I went out there with them this morning because they didn’t want to go without me. I’m sure that my kids aren’t the only kids that know about these cases and many more and are just as scared. I had to express to them that going to school is safe. My daughter asked me this morning, “what if someone takes one of us from school?” I told her that as long as she doesn’t leave the school and as long as she get’s on the bus with everyone else, she will be fine. It’s sad that they are this scared now. And at this point, there is nothing more I can do other than what I have been doing. I know there are idiot parents out there. But not all of us are idiot parents and are doing everything we can possibly do to make sure our kids are safe. But sometimes, even that’s not good enough.
Police plan another press conference for 3:30 this afternoon in regards to Sandra. I wonder if they will have a cause of death.

Yesterday the body of an 8 year old girl was found stuffed in a suitcase and thrown into a farming irrigation pond. Her name was Sandra Cantu from Tracey, California. Every single day at least one of our nation’s children is abducted, tortured, molested and murdered by a sexual predator. Below is a link to a petition which will be sent to lawmakers to request harsher sentences for these repeat offenders. Ankle monitors do NOTHING to prevent these crimes as they only allow law enforcement to round up these offenders AFTER a crime has been committed. PLEASE take two minutes and sign this petition and pass this link along to all of your friends and family. TRACY — The Police Department, shifting gears from trying to find Sandra Cantu to trying to find her killer, has roped off Clover Road Baptist Church with yellow crime-scene tape.
The church is less than 100 yards west of Orchard Estates Mobile Home Park, where Cantu lived. The 8-year-old girl’s body was discovered Monday inside a suitcase floating in an irrigation pond two miles north of her home.
A residence inside the mobile-home park also has been roped off as a crime scene.
Tracy police Sgt. Tony Sheneman was holding a 10 a.m. news conference today.
A tree in front of the Orchard Estates park has become an unofficial memorial to Cantu. Passersby, some of them softly weeping with heads bowed, continue to drop off balloons, stuffed animals, notes and candles.

i talk to my girls about this kind of stuff all the time… I know our county does and i’m sure most others do but they have a county sponsored basic self defense class for kids that’s like 2 nites a week for 6 weeks… Just the basics on how to get away, out of certain holds, defence, etc… it’s in the parks and recs section of my counties website… you pay the county directly and they use local schools at nite… Good to have the knowledge for bullies too…

Police in Tyler, Texas, are looking for Iridian Julissa Rodriguez, 11, who they believe took off with Enrique Vasquez, 23, a Mexican national who is on probation relating to burglary and assault charges and may be in the country illegally.
Tyler Police Officer Don Martin told ABCNews.com that Iridian Julissa Rodriguez left a note in her backpack, saying “that she did not want to live there anymore, that she’d rather be dead, that she was going to Mexico.”
Julissa, who goes by her middle name, was last seen in her bedroom around 11 p.m. Saturday. By 5 a.m. Sunday, she was gone. Police have issued an Amber Alert.
The note also said that the girl would call her parents if she made it to Mexico, Martin said.

To be honest, there is no reason for the trial not to start on time. Baezhole needs to work on the case instead of filing motions. The only thing that should stop the trial from happening is Casey pleading guilty. Which that will never happen.

I have some tips for protecting your kids too, that you probably all do, but just in case:
I feel that a huge risk that your kids face today that we did not as children is being contacted by someone in the outside world and manipulated into a situation where they get snatched. These people convince your children to keep their communications secret.
You should be grabbing their cell phones every once in a while and running through the received, missed, and placed call logs. If they seem mysteriously short, your child may be deleting them so you cannot see them.
Most cell companies send you a detailed bill listing all calls or you can get one by accessing your account on the web. Review it monthly, just like you do your checkbook.
Take a look at your internet browser. Look at the History and click the drop down box next to the address bar (shows you any address manually typed). Bear in mind that your kids are probably better with the machine than you are, so if you got a computer savvy friend, have them search it too.
Ensure you have access to your kid’s email account(s). Review them monthly for sent and received messages, just as you do your checkbook. If an account seems slow way down on received and sent messages, your kid may have created a new one you don’t know about.
A lot of cell phones have a GPS positioning device – this means that there is a feature that will tell you the latitude and longitude the phone is at – usually in the menu of features. There are internet sites you can punch in the long and lat and it will show you on a map where that is at. Find this feature on your phones and show your kids how to pull it up – if they ever get snatched and can get to a phone, maybe they can pull this up..lead the cops right to them. But the real idea is you can call your kids unexpectedly and have them tell you the long and lat, check it on the map, see if they are where they are suppossed to be.

Every kid has a cell phone now…get the list of numbers for your kids friends now…anytime your child goes out with others, know all their cell phone numbers…while they are out, don’t be afraid to call…you don’t have to admit you are checking up…be creative…secretly stick $10 in your kid’s jacket, then call during the evening to one of the kids, talk to yours and tell them about the cash ‘that you forgot to tell them about earlier’…this allows you to check on them and they are happy you called. You get to make sure more than one phone works in the group, that the kids are answering, and that everything is going well.

I think there is a good shot at getting whoever did this though…to throw her in an irrigation pond shows this was probably unplanned and the culprit is probably not too bright. It may show the killer does not live in the area – or if they do, they were unaware of the true nature of the pond or they would have known it gets drained all the time.

Spacely…. they have a church and a Pastor’s trailer roped off right now in the Sandra case…. Pastor Lawless, none-the-less. He lives in the park with Sandra.
We think he removed her from his house in a suitcase which he put in his car and then disposed of in the irrigation pond. He could have done all of this easily before she was reported missing and the road blocks went up.

I am thinking Sandra’s mother was not even aware of the number of sex offenders in the trailer park because she said she was sure that Sandra would never leave the trailer park on her own, which tells me she thought the park was safe…as a parent you have to be aware of these public numbers now.

To be a sex offender that shows up on a map, you have to be CONVICTED of a serious sexual offense (defined by each state). Not charged, CONVICTED. The majority of the offenders you see on the internet maps are for violent serious offenses. On most of the maps, you can pull up the exact charges of each individual. Look through there and tell me you are comfortable living near these people. And if some teen is sending naked pics of themselves around on phones and the internet, I do not want them or their unaware parents anywhere near my kid. Their judgement is very poor.

Yes, Jules, could easily have been the pastor…or any of the other chimos in the park…the connection to the church is odd…but it is near the park, so could still be anyone…although with so many of them grouped in such a small area, it makes you wonder if they could have formed a kind of club…most of them cannot get access to the internet to get the pics they want anymore because they are monitored, but perhaps they have an unconvicted (pastor) perp that downloads for them and distributes at the clubhouse (church)…but that is purely wild speculation…

If her mother had been checking on her and KNEW where she was or was supposed to be she could have reported her missing much sooner…. the perp wouldn’t have been able to get her out of the park and PERHAPS could have kept all of this from happening in the first place. Sounds like they’ve got some good leads and will have this case nailed down shortly…I hope.

When she saw a live TV broadcast in the cell, Anthony “lost her breath. We told her to take some deep breaths and she got some real shallow breathing,” Unser told investigators. “She never appeared to be crying but continued to breath rapidly and fast.”
Casey was moved to another room at the jail. She didn’t want to be alone and asked Lt. Unser to stay with her, Unser said.

SATSUMA, Fla. — For days the Haleigh Bug Foundation in downtown Satsuma has been asking for volunteers to search wooded areas outside of the original five square mile search zone. Police have now asked those volunteers to hold off on their searches.
Organizers with the search group have said sheriff’s officers told them not to look in areas because of the dangers. They said outside of the wildlife, other illegal activity going on in the woods could pose a problem for the volunteers. Officers also told the searchers if they did find any evidence, they could contaminate the scene and the evidence would be useless.

Coroner: Cause of death in Sandra Cantu case could take 4 to 8 weeks…
Sheriff’s department spokesman Deputy Les Garcia would not comment on any findings made during the autopsy. He said officials will wait on toxicology reports and tissue sample analysis before they rule an official cause of death.
The remains still are classified as those of a “Jane Doe,” pending a match of dental records, police identified Cantu by the clothing she was last seen wearing — a pink shirt and black leggings.

Florida Bar Investigating Casey Anthony’s Attorney
ORLANDO — News 13 has learned Casey Anthony’s attorney, Jose Baez, is being investigated by the Florida Bar.
Officials said the investigation involved directions Baez allegedly gave to a private investigator.
However, a representative for the Florida Bar has not said who the investigator is, the information given, or when or who filed the complaint against Baez.
Officials said it is currently in the first of several steps it needs to take before any action — if any is taken.
Marti McKenzie, the spokeswoman for Baez, released the following statement.
“Mr. Baez has done nothing unethical, and like earlier complaints, these allegations will be shown to be untrue.”

The Florida Bar has launched an investigation into Casey Anthony’s defense attorney, Jose Baez.
Allegations have been made against Baez that he told private investigator Dominic Casey to avoid calling 911 if he found Caylee Anthony’s remains.
Casey told detectives in that interview that someone asked him to keep quiet if he found the body. Parts of that interview were determined by a judge to be confidential and were not released to the public.
Baez called the allegations “ridiculous.”

First and faremost, much sorrow is felt for the victom children and the families and parents of these children.
We could lock the sex offenders up for life, but they just keep coming out of the woodwork.
So the only thing that will work is to never let your child out of your sight. Many good parents are already do this…Thank Heaven.
