Public transport of india is much more people friendly then anywhere else. one can reach from one corner of this big country to other in $40 by air, $20 by a/c train,$7 by train and monthly multiple journey of 100 km in $2. If advanced countries stop paying doles but provide cheap basic ammenities and easily available health care systems - it willbe better for masses then showing bulk monetary revenue and GDP figures... without malice to any one..comparisons need to be drawn in a relative term...cars are not required by all people-one/two in a family...that too if public transport is not handy...for india NANO is best thing in these times & roads will be redone gradually...keep hope india is at right track..long live democracy..sons like tatas, ambanies , kalpanas, sainas,mittals,sehwags & gandhies will continue to add to its ever lasting glory.....keep it up yes- incomes in dollers may be lower-
