However, you can only open so much credit at once. The fact that you applied for credit actually lowers your credit score. So each subsequent app lowers you more and more. There is also an algorithm the credit companies use that looks at how much and how many apps for credit you made in the last 30 days. Too many is a red flag and they auto deny you.

So, I think that a theory that M opened a bunch of cards and got to a total theft of $45K is exagerrated at best. Could she have stolen $10 – $20 K this way…yes, but it would have been difficult, but yes, she could have.

I agree with Papa, the dollar amount is way too high, I think it was mostly a pity party story for dear ol’ mom, and I think G lost way more in the long run.

We don’t actually know that any of these are facts:

a) We do not actually know when Haleigh disappeared. We assume it was after Ron went to work, but there is no proof of that, only the statement of Ron’s relative (who incidentally failed to mention Misty’s cousin or Greg being at the house).

b)We have no idea where Misty was or if she left the trailer (other than by her admission to smoke, but says she did not leave the property). We want to assume she left, cause that helps make sense of the case, but that could be wishful thinking.

c) We do not even know if Haleigh was abducted. We assume she was, but she could have wandered off (there was a lengthy trail the cops followed) or she could have been killed and disposed of immediately (this would probably amount to the same as abduction – unless Ron or Misty did it).

My poor cousin hit me in the eye with a railroad spike one time…

Where the hell did an unemployed car salesman and an allegded nurse living beyond their means in an over mortgaged house come up with that amount accessable to their theiving daughter???

Actually, I’m in awe of tornados…I respect them but I really don’t fear them. I’m always amazed at the aftermath and the pure force it would take to do the damage they do. If I was independently wealthy I would probably be a storm chaser….or a professional gambler!

Opinions of the people involved in this case are not important. Facts solve crimes.

a.)Ron was at work when the abduction occurred.

b.)Misty left the trailer that night.

c.)The abductor felt confident they could get away with taking Haleigh.

How does all of this tie together? That is what the investigators are trying to find out. If no one confesses and no evidence is found, we may never know what happened to Haleigh.

I believe you are correct, this is what C’s mom said.

However, I do not think C’s mom has actual knowledge of this theft, only what C has told her. And we all know C to be a liar. I believe she was whining to her mom about the amount of money G lost and the money M stole and it is all blended together in her mom’s memory. As to the actual dollar amount…who knows? But how does someone steal $45 Grand from you? And if she did open credit cards, why did CnG not have the cards closed and the charges voided? If they did not sign for the purchases or authorize them, they are not valid and most credit card companies will charge that back to the vendor.

And how many cards could you open before your credit was wiped out? $45K just seems like an awful lot to lose for real, but seems about right as a story from a woman who tried to make us believe pizza smells worse than a dead body.

I think you may have gotten the sucking backwards…she may have “sucked” herself into the job…

And I think it probably all was from the playground.

But then I hear Ron saying “Bring It On!!” in response to being asked about a possible DCF investigation…something weird about that…

…and then I think about how he entrusted the care of his two children to someone that might have been OK as a babysitter, but to watch the kids all night every night as if she were their mother and him thinking everything was cool with that…

…and then I think about the chimos that were present in the house and could have been abusing the kids…even if not physically, then psychologically…cause that’s how chimos are…especially if one of the kids is interrupting Misty prone time…

I personally see nothing wrong with a DCF investigation since one kid is missing and we have these pics and we know about the chimos and stuff just keeps coming up everyday…

We will never know when M is telling the truth. In fact, it is best to just assume she is always lying. The only thing we can rely on is the forensic evidence.

The things that bother me about the incident are:

1) There is no documentation of the cut to the chin that is at least as bad as the one on the nose and no documentation of swelling or a black eye the day of the incident (although we have not seen the ER report for that day).

2) They go back 6 days later and the ER says she needs a CAT scan. If getting a CAT after a fall is standard safety, then why did that not happen in the ER day 1? If not just for safety, then why did the ER want it 6 days later?

I am not justifying anything Crystal is saying or doing, but as a non-kid having adult, this seems strange to me.

I did read your post from earlier on the defenses crazy motive. And a mercey killing. I’m not that familiar with law and the tricks of the trade. But, If M confessed to the crime I think her chances would be in her favor.

I think everyone and their mother wants the TRUTH in this circus arena. I only problem is, how will we ever know that M is telling the truth.

At this point, LE has not confirmed these missing diary pages. It could be that they don’t have them at all.

I actually think she might have done it when she was out on bail. At that time, she had not been charged with murder, so no search had yet been done of the house or at least not an extensive one. So she goes to use the diary, realizes what is in it, rips out the pages and hides them in her room. She does not want to get rid of them, she wants them for later, that is why she wrote them, but she does hide them.

If it was C, it makes no sense unless she wanted to confront M with them later, but why? Why get your daughter out of jail and off the hook to later tell her you know and here is the proof…unless she thought it would give her power over M.

That’s the thing about M…she has literally said it all…from every angle…no matter what sound byte you pull…there is one where she says the opposite…

I’ve got a question to ask that has been bothering me.

I guess it’s a fact that there were pages torn out the kcees diary right?? O.K. why would she or C&G save (hide) those missing pages in the house somewhere where they could be found by LE. If those pages are so damning and incremidating, why were they saved and not destroyed?? If those page contents could seal kcees fate, then it doesn’t make sense to keep them around and not shred, burn and destroy.

That person is long gone, but I just want to point out for everyone that I do not believe that anyone on this blog has convicted Ron or Misty of anything other than stupidity.

We are certainly suspicious, but their actions have brought that suspicion on themselves.

We simply point out the facts, like Misty’s stories don’t jive, or that Ron is a smirker, or that his hat is possibly stolen cause it still has a tag on it (hehehe, ok, that last one was a joke, but c’mon man, cut the tag and pull the hat down on your head or get some gold teeth if you want to be a gangster).

None of us in here knows what happened, but we all want to and right now, our general consensus (anyone who disagrees please chime in) is that the key to this mystery lies with Misty giving up the whole story.

Defense will submit evidence of “bad” things that happened to M while she was being raised. Remember all the rumors about Lee or G raping or sexually abusing her?

Then defense will submit evidence of G’s major financial losses, be they gambling or “internet scam”.

Defense will throw in some commentary by friends and the rest of the family about GnC…we have already seen some of it that basically describes them as creepy people.

Defense will submit documentation of bad things M did as a minor – then blame that on the parents.

Defense will wrap up by concluding that M’s life had been so bad she could not stand to think her child would be raised by these lunatics, so she did the only thing she could, a “mercy killing”.

Remember that although the court has had M evaluated by psychologists, we have not seen anything about an evaluation by a defense psychologist – but with all the experts, they must have one…he will show up with the “crazy” diagnosis…not enough crazy to be legally not responsible, but crazy enough to create mitigating circumstances that will confuse the jury.

I don’t think it will work, but it looks to me as if Bozo has been putting these pieces in place all along and GnC’s insane behavior has played right into his hands. We all know they are crazy and who would want them raising a child? Look at the bad job they did with M.
