A new e-commerce site called ReviewMe.Com is offering to pay bloggers to write reviews of products, movies, etc. on their web sites. Bloggers register at the site and provide links to their main page and RSS feed; the ReviewMe software then automatically assesses the blog on the basis of things like Alexa Ranking, RSS subscribers, Technorati ranking, etc., and assigns a price for the site. Advertisers can then solicit the site to provide reviews of their products, paying the blogger through ReviewMe once the review is posted to the blog site.
The ReviewMe interface is simple and functional, with a clean look. The automated registration program works smoothly. All in all, ReviewMe seems like a professional operation. Bloggers willing to create and post 200-word or longer reviews on their sites may find the service a handy source of extra income. As the site is currently in launch mode, new reviewers can even sign up to review ReviewMe.Com itself – earning a quick first commission. However, writers should hurry to take advantage of that offer, as only the first $25,000 in commissions on ReviewMe.Com reviews will be paid out. Reviewers are NOT required to write only positive reviews – ReviewMe is looking for honest opinions, well rendered.
This is a sponsored post submitted in cooperation with www.reviewme.com. The post nonetheless represents the honest opinion of its author.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackIf I wanted to write press releases and puff pieces, I would have become a public relations hack for real money long ago.
This idea will appeal to some bloggers looking for cash, but I’d rather just post my authentic opinions for free on Amazon. But that’s just me. What about you???
The problem seems to be that if you get paid for a review it is not likely to be trusted, unless it’s a negative review…
I think the confusion is arising because of the perception that the reviewer is being paid for a favorable review, which is of course bad ethics. But the article is clear and it is the popularity of the blog that is being paid for. Advertisers may seek out a popular blog and pay for the ad space. I would check it out myself before commenting.

This site is shoddy at best. NOT worth your time. There are much better ways to monetize your blog.
I think everyone has an opinion, but that opinion might be swade by a paycheck. I for one will give my opinion as I see it and as it should be without pay. Should something come of it, then if they want to pay me fine, but I still will give my honest opion reguardless of payment.
if you get money for your opinion then your words &opinion consider cheap * fake…how can you sell what you fight for…!unless in europe this consider normal but not where i come from.
