It is sad to see a kid get such a harsh punishment when you look in the courts today and see serious sex offenders or anyone that has committed more serious crimes getting no more than a slap on the wrist and set free. Although the boy was wrong for his way of getting even with the girl, his crime was not so bad that he should be labeled a sex offender and thrown in the same room with men that rape and molest children. He definitely should be punished but there are ways to punish them that would teach them a lesson that would better their life instead of ruining it. At 18 his life was only just beginning and it is ruined now. So sad :( I also think the girl, even though she is only 16, was old enough to know better than to put nude photos of herself online.
