Satsuma Florida- Haleigh Cummings has been missing for almost a month now. It’s hard to believe that it’s gone by so quickly. It seems just the other day we heard of her and her mysterious disappearance there is a lot of speculation around the nation as to what befell that beautiful child. Ron and Misty remain vigilant they have no clue who abducted Haleigh or regarding her where abouts. As does her mother Crystal Sheffield.
Misty is the last adult to see Haleigh before she disappeared. Misty has told different stories as to her account of what happened that night. Investigators have questioned her multiple times, sometimes for hours at a time. Misty has eluded to one of her cousins who has a criminal history of breaking into homes and propping open the residence doors with bricks. The door at Haleigh’s home was found propped open with a cinder block. It was noticed when Misty realized Haleigh was missing. The light was on also. Misty claims the door was shut and locked and the light was off when she went to bed.
Haleigh’s little brother Jr. Ron’s biological son told his mother Crystal that a “a man in black took sissy.” Investigators were following false leads up the First Coast all the way into Tennessee. They searched Haleigh’s neighborhood with special trained cadaver dogs from South Georgia. It turned up nothing. One of the dogs alerted on a construction dumpster, no evidence was found. Investigators told Haleigh’s biological grandma Marie Griffis that they have “no clues” in Haleigh’s disappearance.Â
Four weeks is a long time for a child Haleigh’s age to be missing. I don’t know the statistics for the probability a child will be found alive and what amount of time it takes to assure that outcome. I only hope its not to late for Haleigh. She is an adorable little girl. She deserves to be home with her daddy. Ron Cummings got a tribute tattoo for his daughter on his right calf. A picture of her face and the words “Daddy’s little girl always” I think its a nice way to profess your love for your child. I hope Haleigh gets to see it. Laws have to be changed!! No more revolving-door justice. They, on average, do their dirty deeds for 17 years before being discovered. Then, they do the time, and get out, only to repeat the whole process. They can’t control themselves. Something MUST be done with our LAWS to cut down these horrific numbers of these rapes/murders! They have become more sophisticated, and now leave no witnesses. And they share information on their “sites” – how to do it better.
it doesnt seem like a month allready..wow..hopefully something will turn up soon, and the laws should be stricter for these sex offenders i cant believe so many live in the neighborhood by haleigh, that alone isnt right.
I really want to know a lot at this point but what comes out in my mind at this point to at thinking about this – is If the Child’s Mother,Crystal Sheffield, Lives almost 90 to a hundred miles away, in her own words, than if Ronald called her at the same time as they was calling the Police Depart, than how in Gods Green earth did the Mother In her Own Words, get to his house by 3:30 Am, if he called the Police at 3:27 Am. There Is No Way, Not even in ten to fifteen minutes, could she had gotten there, Here’s everyone’s Sign!!!!! NOT POSSIBLE with out breaking the sound barrier.
And Really Having the police Dept arrive with her there.. No WAY!!!
I hope and pray they find this baby soon,

he says he will “get even” with Ron , something about a gun all this was mentioned before ,

Laurie it was the paternal grandma (on the news that I saw) that said Ronald called her first while GF was on with 911. She lives nearby and arrived when police arrived. The mother was not called until after the police came and others were looking for the child.
I had heard on one of Greta’s shows that there was a party going on down the street that night. I thought maybe that was were GF was until 3am – but I didn’t hear about a party anywhere else. Has anyone else heard that? Couldn’t LE just ask others from the party if GF was there? Do you think that GF was high and that is why she sounded “out of it” on the 911 call? I grew up not far from Ocala and have said since a couple days in this that GF was out of the house visiting someone. It was probably a routine thing. There is nothing else to do around there. It is not uncommonn to smoke pot – it isn’t really even noticed as wrong – in rural north central FL. A LOT of people do it – parents, teenagers and even grandparents in some cases. Some of you bloggers may not be familiar with this type of situation but it fits with the area. It isn’t evident in my speech or writing but I was educated in the public school system there and have brothers and friends who act like Ronald and knew a few people like GF. I got out and went to college but people who stay in the area have limited resources. They generally are good people but make wreckless decisions sometimes due to not thinking about what the consequences could be of a bad decision.
GF was out. It was not the first time and someone bad knew about it. Unfortunately, now we are waiting for LE to find the body. Haleigh could be alive but doesn’t past experience teach us that after this long things don’t turn out promising? Pray that where ever the child is – what ever happened – that she isn’t suffering…….or didn’t.
What were they doing hanging around all theses people with criminal records with these’s children,

I remember when the police first talked to Ron, they asked him had he been in to it with anyone, did anyone have a reason to get him and he said NO!
And crystal, saying jr said it was a black man! I wonder how many blacks live in that area?
I remember when the smith lady told police that a black man took her children knowing she had drove them off in a lake. She got life, should have gotten the needle!
HER X-HUSBAND BELIVED HER, and when he found out the truth he cryed and cryed, said he would hate her untill he died he loved his boys, why did’nt she just give them to him,he wanted and loved them!

Putman county office would only confirnm that their (child protection team )spoke with Ronald Cummings JR, But would not Reveal what the boy said,
again this is what Crystal Sheffield said,
he told his Mother,”a man in black came into the room where his sister & his fathers g/f Misty Croslin had went to sleep ”
Reports are , Sheffield said,”when I see him(jr)all he said is,”I want to find my sissy”
something about somebody in black took her , he said “they were all dressed in black”
Crystal said, Haleigh Cummings Father, Ron told her the same thing.
as I sit here and read all these coments I am just sick……lets all pray this beautiful ray of sunshine comes home…..pray for the family to have the love of god to get through this

Ron Cummings should stop grumbling and blaming all peoples. He better be glad people are trying to find Haleigh. He seems to have a persecution feeling about himself.
Crystal has been forthcoming in all her interviews, and Misty I think is telling the truth…BUT this engagement all of a sudden would leave one to believe that a spouse can’t testify against each other, (just in case) so lets all continue to have hope for Haleigh and the family as this is a terrible ordeal to be going through. I am especially sorry for the paternal grandmother, she is a broken woman and I pray she will be ok through all this.

i saw a first enterview where misty was saying i would have never let them, take her who is they and what van why was her blanket in a van she know more then what she is telling us
I wonder what the police know from the thousands of tips and what they could share with the rest of us so that we could help somehow. I pray that this girl shows up somewhere alive.
