Thomas Paine was a great revolutionary leader, but he did not write the declaration of independence. He articulated the hopes and dreams of a people fighting to build a nation. The specifics have to come from the GOP and Conservative leadership. Darvin, specific solutions must come from all members of the conservative movement. If you wish to be part the solution, join the fight and look at our specific ACTION! CSA-1776.org

Watching Rush made me glad I'm a Democrat.

The problem is that, just like the Republicans are run by the old line clueless dudes, the Democrats are due for a fight between the working class union "blue dog" Democrats and the elitist Progressive types who think they got elected with a mandate to shove through all their agendas.

Obama seems to have gone out of his way to insult Catholics, for example, and working folk who pay the bills are angry at both bailing out the rich businessmen and the type that don't pay their bills and then cry for us to help them.

Obama seems clueless to this second group...it's up for grabs by another Reagan, but so far the Republicans only seem to give us Ann Coulter and Rush. Bummer.

Bingo, Sara123. You nailed it. Except there is a new term for globalists that fits much better: Transnational Progressives. Google the term. You'll find a wealth of information. DD

Well, you did not give an idea of action items and ideas for Consrvatives to support, either. Conservatives like to hear themselves talk and they like to snipe at the talks of other conservatives. They don't know what to do in action anymore. They have no agenda to debate and argue for. The days of the reforms and ideas spelled out in the contract with America are long gone and have never been revived. We only react.

It is my hope that leaders will emerge from the tea party with some action items that conservatives can support. It is obvious conservatives support the constitution, but what are they going to do to reclaim the constiution from the globalists? But, I am not holding my breath!

Rush said "We love and revere our founding documents, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. [Applause] We believe that the preamble to the Constitution contains an inarguable truth that we are all endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, among them life. [Applause] Liberty, Freedom. [Applause] And the pursuit of happiness."

Two problems: Freedom wasn't in the list and this is in the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution. I guess Rush loves the docs but doesn't actually know what's in them.
