Everyone that is a reader of BNN has heard of Sean Krause, while he never penned a word for us he was a stalwart on our radio talk show on Sundays. He likely was one the most knowledgeable people outside of Law Enforcement on the sad Caylee Anthony case. When almost all of the media had turned on the entire Anthony family, Sean took the high road, at the time there was little other than innuendo and stupidity by mother Casey Anthony.
Sean took a different route to the Main Stream Media, he reached out to the family. No he was not a trained news hound, he did not have a degree in journalism, he was just a guy that cared. I know that Sean spoke to Caylee Anthony’s grand mother Cindy Anthony a number of times. Cindy was sure that Caylee was still alive. While the MSM through people like Nancy Grace pounded relentlessly day after day, Sean still maintained an even keel.
I started talking to Sean shortly after he suddenly changed sides, he moved from defense Linebacker to offense Quarterback. The reason for the change was the evidence. The evidence was becoming overwhelming. Sean always did everything at 150%, now he was running for the offense.
As we all know Sean died two days ago. Even though he had changed sides, even Cindy Anthony had the good graces to offer condolences. A simple thing, but one that I found quite touching, even enemies can afford the low cost of good manners.
Of course the Internet is at best the online version of the Wild West, good taste is something that is an anathema to some web sites. Interestingly enough I spent today reading a book about Copyright, so I am going to use this quote with no attribution, but if you really want to find the site email Jan.

Elaine I finally watched the video they played at the memorial today. Made me cry for Caylee. Made me once again think of M as just as “oxygen depleter”….saw that somewhere today. I fell asleep around 5:30pm yesterday. I woke up around 8:00p and decided to skip dinner and just sleep. Felt good!
Wow!! Looks like I missed WW3! I am appauled that Thinkerbell would post such stinking garbage about Sean. Her negative responses were well deserved.
Nana, The only thing, and I’m guessing, is that it’s just another theory. Caylee was murdered in her bed lying on her Pooh blanket so M just bundled her up in that before putting her in the laundry bag and the 2 garbage bags.
I don’t know if we will ever know exactly where she was killed. The only thing that matters is that she was found and m is squirming.

I’m guessing you are quoting in your previous post about that air samples, hair samples etc. ‘That could be a problem for the procecutors’. ‘New to the criminal justice system’.
The way I interpert that is that we now have ADVANCED scientic testing results. New ways of testing are born all the time. I just don’t see this as a problem for the proscutors at all.
I think they rely on only the BEST labs in the country.

ORLANDO, Fla. — A judge decided at a hearing Wednesday not to order Casey Anthony’s parents, George and Cindy Anthony, to give sworn depositions as scheduled in the Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez civil law suit.
Brad Conway filed the motion Tuesday to prevent the Anthonys from giving depositions in the suit. He said in the motion Tuesday that forcing them to give depositions in the suit is nothing more than an attempt to annoy and embarrass them.
Gonzalez is suing their daughter for defamation after Casey Anthony claimed a baby sitter named Zenaida Gonzalez kidnapped her daughter Caylee.
Casey Anthony eventually was charged with first-degree murder in connection with Caylee’s death. She is in Orange County Jail awaiting trial later this year.
The judge also ruled to delay the depositions for 20 days to give Conway a chance to present evidence of the psychological problems they’re experiencing that Conway claimed in his motion.
Wednesday in court Conway cited a WESH 2 story from this month. In it Gonzalez’s lawyer John Morgan said he planned to invite the media in and videotape the Anthony’s deposition. The judge is also giving the media 20 days to present legal arguments on why they have a right to be at that hearing.
Gonzalez’s attorney said the rights of his client and damages she’s faced are lost in all this.
It is unclear what the judge’s decision means for Casey Anthony’s brother, Lee. He was scheduled to give a deposition Friday.

You couldn’t provide any other plausible suspects because you TOO know Casey killed her daughter. Her family IS as much to blame. They KNEW Casey was unfit. I also hope that Haleigh’s family is done talking to media and just let the police do their job. They should only be talking to police, each time they open their mouths on tv is detrimental to the case.

Coincidentally, two weeks ago, I was on jury duty, got picked to sit (drug sting) and heard 2 1/2 days of testimony. I watched 8 witnesses do the hand on bible thing and I only believed 3 of them. I bet 1/2 of them had never even heard of the bible, but there they were, putting their hand on the book. It might as well have been a copy of “How to style a wig”.
PS.. the case ended with plea bargain while we were out to lunch on the 3rd day.

Thanks Jules I try… I use to work in a long term care facility and they just don’t have old folks in there and my Mom use to work at a place called the Providence Center which was a daily workshop for people of all ages that had downs, disabilities, etc… She use to take me there to help out… My ex- step aunt i guess had downs also so I know it’s not a laughing matter to call truly affected people a retard…

Bmore, my mom used to work at at State School when I was little. She’d take me to work with her sometimes and I especially loved the kids with downs…they give the BEST hugs! I learned then that those with disabilities have a LOT to offer and should never be written off by society. I’m glad society has come a long way from those days in how these wonderfully delightful individuals are treated…although we’ve still got a long ways to go.
I think the kids with autism were the most upsetting to me because you couldn’t seem to get through to them and they often did things to hurt themselves or others. I can remember being somewhat fearful as a child when they would have outbursts. It was hard for me to understand at such a young age what was going on.

I, too, feel that if a family member commits a crime, that is THEIR crime, they are to blame and they should be punished. The family, while heartbroken and angry can support them, but they must admit the truth about that member. They should, in most cases, help get legal defense, since that’s our right as Americans. And, naturally, they can and should continue to love that person.
BUT.. They should not make up excuses and try to thwart the investigation. They shouldn’t go on national tv and make fools of themselves (although it is a good chuckle to watch). They should not belittle the investigation for the good of that criminal family member.
NOW.. what we have here is not only a family member who has committed a crime, but its a crime against the FAMILY. This, to me, changes all the dynamics of everything.
Deep down, I do have sympathy for these people, but that is only because I have a daughter. When I think of what I would do if I were in that situation, I get afraid that I would not handle it the way I SHOULD.
But, then again, I think of how those parents let the daughter get away with everything for her entire life, no repercussions, no punishments that apparently worked. If they tried discipline, I’m sure there were tantrums and she sulked and they gave in. So, naturally, that daughter isn’t going to tell them the truth. She is not going to think of anyone but herself. She was taught to only think of herself. She has now commmitted the worst crime there probably is, a parent murdering a small child. And these Anthonys are treating it the same as when she stole money from them or took the car or lied about jobs..etc..etc.
So, any bleeding hearts out there that feel everyone isn’t fair to this family should look to their OWN family. Can you see your grandchild suddenly OUT of the family, OFF the face of the earth, just because your own daughter didn’t want her anymore? Would that be OK for you? Would it be business as usual and lets mop up her mess one more time? Look deep… could you do it?
I know that I could not. Love runs through a family, but truth and respect hold it together.

Actually my ex (thank GAWD) used to hunt squirrel….he’d skin them in my kitchen sink…bluck….looked like hairless rats…he and his family actually ate squirrel brains like it was some delicacy….they pretty much hunted and ate anything that moved…raccoons, ducks, turkeys, deer, boars, even frogs….everything they killed they ate and it always “tasted just like chicken”! Capy…this bunch ate the part of the bull…let’s see, how do I put this…that when removed…makes it a steer….I’m telling you, nuttin went to waste with these folks….they raised their own food….showed up on Mother’s Day for dinner once to find a hog hanging from a tree in the front yard bleeding out…gruesome site….I find it hard to eat things that were last seen happily grazing and snoozing in my back yard….
So sad it will all die down and she will be stuck with her bitterness and jealousy of Sean’s popularity.
My husband years and years ago used to hunt. He got some squirrel once. Skined it cleaned it and cut it up for frying. Well, I did fry it, like you would fry fried chicken. It tasted like the dark meat from chicken. I only had one bite. Personally, if it tastes like chicken, I’ll stick to eating chicken! I even made squirrel gravy. He liked it, but I think that was the only time he killed one.
Now frog spearing is something else. Living on a lake…there are lots of frogs. He never did any frog gigging but lots of our friends did. I’ve had fried frog legs. Pretty good but then again, I’ll stick to chicken.
I posted on Tinker Belle’s site with the following comment:

Nurses Fired For Cell Phone Photo Of Patient
The investigation started with an anonymous call from an employee at Mercy Walworth Medical Center in Lake Geneva, with the allegation that a nurse took pictures of a patient with her cell phone and posted them on her Facebook page.
Last week, the nurse told 12 News she never posted the pictures on the Internet. Investigators have since interviewed the nurse and said she offered more details.
“There were two nurses that independently took a picture each of an X-ray of a patient,” Walworth County Undersheriff Kurt Picknell said.
The patient was admitted to the emergency room with an object lodged in his rectum. Police said the nurse explained she and a co-worker snapped photos when they learned it was a sex device. Police said discussion about the incident was posted on her Facebook page, but they haven’t found anyone who actually saw the pictures.
The nurse removed her Facebook page from the Internet last week. Without more, Picknell said this conduct does not appear to violate any state laws. He has referred the case to the FBI.
“We’ve notified federal authorities of this allegation to see if there are federal violations, most notably HIPAA violations, patient rights,” he said.
The hospital did not return a call seeking comment.

The two women are in the Dallas County Jail and face child endangerment charges.
Relatives of the children were able to bring them home from the hospital later Wednesday night.
CPS says it can’t comment on the families’ history because the three children are staying with relatives.

Kenneth Douglas
Prosecutor Joe Deters said Thursday that 55-year-old Kenneth Douglas had sex with two bodies at the Hamilton County morgue in 1991. Douglas is facing two charges of abuse of a corpse.
Deters identified the women as Angel Hicks and Charlene Edwards. Both had been slain in separate incidents.
Deters said the results of DNA testing helped bring the new charges.
Douglas worked at the morgue as a night custodian from 1979 to 1992. He faces up to 18 months in prison on each charge.
Douglas was convicted in 2008 of abuse of a corpse and is serving an 18-month prison sentence. He was convicted of having sex with Karen Range’s body as it was awaiting autopsy in 1982.
Range’s killer, David Steffen, previously convicted of rape based on Douglas’ then-unknown actions, is appealing his sentence.
Deters said the charges came as a result of an investigation started when Douglas was arrested. He said he does not expect any further charges.”

I was looking to see if I could get updates on Haleigh or that girl in Cali and found all of this. I think I’ll stay away from CNN from now on. Very scary stuff.
The one that makes me mad is about the moms smoking pot while holding the babies. They’ve had 10 prior convictions for drugs, had the kids taken away before and given to relatives who gave the kids back to the crackheads. So what do the authorities do? They take the kids away AND GIVE THEM TO THE RELATIVES….the same ones who gave the kids back to the crackheads the last time. And we wonder why our nation’s kids are dying at their own parents hands…because the system SUCKS and DOES NOT WORK FOR THE CHILDREN!

Detectives Want DNA from Haleigh’s Mother

SATSUMA, FL — Investigators want a DNA sample from Crystal Sheffield, the mother of Haleigh Cummings, while cadaver dogs scour the woods and fields around the girl’s home for any signs of the missing girl.
The five-year-old has been missing since she went to bed on the night of February 9th.
Late Thursday afternoon, detectives came looking for Sheffield, who had apparently gone to the doctor.
The detectives are trying to track her down after going to the wrong office. Investigators would not comment on what type of DNA sample they need, or why.
All morning, the cadaver dogs have been looking through and under a number of people’s homes in Heleigh’s neighborhood.
“They’ve been in my home,” said neighbor James Batchelor. “They’ve torn it apart. All the buildings out there they’ve been in them twice.”
The dogs are trained to specifically seek out human remains and are part of Canine South, a non-law-enforcement group specializing in canine searches.
“Today’s search is not in response to leads received from the family or the public, but as a routine procedure that has proven itself in other missing child cases,” said Captain Dick Schauland with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. “This search is being conducted to insure that no possibility is overlooked in the search for Haleigh.”
Ron Wirth, a former FBI agent who’s been doing general analysis on the investigation as a representative of First Coast Crime Stoppers, says the move to get the DNA from Haleigh’s mother may be about evidence.
“They may be seeking the biological mother’s DNA to establish a basis for test comparisons on items that they have found, or will find, to positively identify or eliminate those items as evidence in this matter,” said Wirth.
Wirth says the new search with cadaver dogs is also not unusual at this stage in the investigation.
“If a body began to deteriorate you might get some gasses that the dogs could hit on,” said Wirth.
Thursday’s ground search is the first major organized effort in some time.
Investigators have been chasing false leads across the First Coast and in Tennessee since shifting the search for Haleigh to more of an investigative approach in the case last week.
The family spoke briefly to the media Thursday afternoon. Teresa Neves, Haleigh’s grandmother, expressed concern over the dwindling crowds of media. She also said Ronald Cummings and his 17-year-old girlfriend, Misty Croslin, are still together as a couple.
The reward for information leading to Haleigh is up to $26,500. Call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS if you have any information. You will remain anonymous and could recieve a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest.

Something about Misty just isn’t adding up. LE knows it too and that’s why they keep pulling her in. But why would they need the mother’s DNA? And why Cadavar dogs now? What aren’t they telling us? Something is up but they sure aren’t telling anyone. Either the mom did something to Haleigh so she wouldn’t have to pay child support or Misty did something - either on accident or on purpose….I’m not buying this outsider, man in black story.

As horrible as the Caylee murder was, it was almost instantly that the murderer was known. No matter what crap she (or her family) spewed, everyone knew she did something to that child. But, this Haleigh case is really a CLUE game at this point.
Children aren’t put on earth to suffer, they are to be cherished and not have a worry in the world. I still can’t fathom the workings of a mind that allows harm to a child.

Nana…doesn’t matter how much you make…they base the AMOUNT you pay on your income but you are supposed to pay the custodial parent child support…doesn’t matter if you are mom or dad…whoever has custody is supposed to get child support. who-ever took Haleigh had to open the door from the inside , and while carrying Haleigh out the door, again the door would have to be propped open i call it ajar and of course a brick or something heavy would be placed there to hold it open while they transported the child out doors ,& they could not go back remove the brick because he or she had Haleigh in their arms . Elaine…I’m with ya. My childhood was blissfully perfect…not a care in the world…I had June and Ward Cleaver for parents..church every Sunday and Wednesday, vacation bible school, church camp, etc. Perfect birthday parties, nice vacations, trick-or-treating throughout the neighborhood without a worry. My parents didn’t even let me watch the news (Vietnam war too graphic). Heck, even Hee Haw was too risque so I’d have to leave the room. LOL I guess that is why the horrendous things these children go through gets to me so badly. I feel somewhat guilty too for having such a “Leave it to Beaver” childhood.

Nana, yup, years ago custody almost always went to the mom so you didn’t hear much about men getting child support. A lot has changed in recent years and more dads are getting custody. I completely agree with the law. Whoever has custody should receive child support. It took both parents to make the baby, it’s up to both of them to provide. But that’s just my opinion…which isn’t worth a whole lot, I assure you! LOL

Sounds like a break in the case…they’ve got some evidence and I bet her DNA is on it…..she’s not wanting to give her DNA…she’s hiding something….I think this has to do with her having to pay child support….if she had Haleigh kidnapped and could prove what a bad dad Ron was and make Misty look bad, the State might take the kids and she wouldn’t have to pay child support or would get custody and Ron would have to pay her….sounds like a lot of motive to me!

Detectives Want DNA from Haleigh’s Mother

SATSUMA, FL — Investigators want a DNA sample from Crystal Sheffield, the mother of Haleigh Cummings, while cadaver dogs scour the woods and fields around the girl’s home for any signs of the missing girl.
The five-year-old has been missing since she went to bed on the night of February 9th.
Late Thursday afternoon, detectives came looking for Sheffield, who had apparently gone to the doctor.
The detectives are trying to track her down after going to the wrong office. Investigators would not comment on what type of DNA sample they need, or why.
All morning, the cadaver dogs have been looking through and under a number of people’s homes in Heleigh’s neighborhood.
“They’ve been in my home,” said neighbor James Batchelor. “They’ve torn it apart. All the buildings out there they’ve been in them twice.”
The dogs are trained to specifically seek out human remains and are part of Canine South, a non-law-enforcement group specializing in canine searches.
“Today’s search is not in response to leads received from the family or the public, but as a routine procedure that has proven itself in other missing child cases,” said Captain Dick Schauland with the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. “This search is being conducted to insure that no possibility is overlooked in the search for Haleigh.”
Ron Wirth, a former FBI agent who’s been doing general analysis on the investigation as a representative of First Coast Crime Stoppers, says the move to get the DNA from Haleigh’s mother may be about evidence.
“They may be seeking the biological mother’s DNA to establish a basis for test comparisons on items that they have found, or will find, to positively identify or eliminate those items as evidence in this matter,” said Wirth.
Wirth says the new search with cadaver dogs is also not unusual at this stage in the investigation.
“If a body began to deteriorate you might get some gasses that the dogs could hit on,” said Wirth.
Thursday’s ground search is the first major organized effort in some time.
Investigators have been chasing false leads across the First Coast and in Tennessee since shifting the search for Haleigh to more of an investigative approach in the case last week.
The family spoke briefly to the media Thursday afternoon. Teresa Neves, Haleigh’s grandmother, expressed concern over the dwindling crowds of media. She also said Ronald Cummings and his 17-year-old girlfriend, Misty Croslin, are still together as a couple.
The reward for information leading to Haleigh is up to $26,500. Call Crime Stoppers at 1-888-277-TIPS if you have any information. You will remain anonymous and could recieve a cash reward if your information leads to an arrest

SATSUMA, FL — Late Thursday afternoon, investigators, who have had their busiest day in about a week, went to the neighborhood behind Haleigh Cummings’ house and began searching through a construction dumpster.
After 5 p.m., the search moved into the Villas neighborhood, which is just on the other side of a fence from where Ronald and Haleigh Cummings’ house is.
First Coast News Erich Spivey says investigators were following a tip from area neighbors.
It is not clear if this is the first time this area has been searched, or specifically what searchers are after as they looked through the large dumpster.

Apparently.. report is that one of the cadaver dogs have hit on the dumpster.
BUT, that doesn’t mean it is a human body. The dogs aren’t 100% accurate. They can hit on a piece of old meat, etc.
So, its good to see that they are going through the entire dumpster, even if it gives up no positive evidence for Haleigh.
Odd the dumpster is right on the other side of fence that borders the area where Haleigh lived. I would have thought they had searched that already.

The Dumpster is located in River Villas, a manufactured home development that is adjacent to the rural Satsuma neighborhood where Haleigh lives. It typically holds yard waste, said Putnam County Sheriff’s Capt. Dick Schauland.
Deputies are searching the container because a cadaver dog alerted them to a scent inside it late this afternoon, Schauland said. The dog was among seven searching the area with their handlers today. Twelve dogs and their handlers will search the area tomorrow, he said.
Cadaver dogs are trained to track the scent of human decomposition, but the dog may have hit on the Dumpster for a number of reasons.

Looking around and I saw some real heart-breaking pictures of Haleigh’s Dad. MyFox I think it was one. THAT is one broken Dad. Crying, bending in half … I know. That’s how it is! Poor guy I felt soooo sorry for him. I could FEEL that pain. Awful.

I’m nearly 70..retired..one daughter..one grandson {10 months and gorgeous}.. {sadly her first was stillborn}..divorced after 21 years {get less time for murder - hi!}
Born in Yorkshire England, came to Oz as a young teenager. Live in a suburb about 10 miles from Perth {Capital of Western Australia}. Summers are very hot - many days over 40C {100F}…winters are quite mild though we often get minus zero temps early mornings.
Only get rain for a few months in winter..have been on water restrictions for about 10 yrs now. All in all it is a good place to live..I am very content..have one pussycat {adopted} called Sylvester and my daughter and grandson live less than a mile from me - yippee!

hi e1, boy we hag a blizzard yesterday waiting at the school to pick up the kids took me 1/2 hr to get home i live 5min away….what a mess!! just greatfull we made it without getting stuck or in a accedent….poor kids comming out of school couldnt even see from the snow aand could barley walk cuz it was so slippery…talk about stress!!!

to me i think the ants have known for awhile…the only reason i can see for them to lie and cover is if they are somehow involved…maybee m has them convinced if c and her didnt have that fight and c hadnt choked her this wouldnt have happened…there is something strange about all of this and the actions of the ants.
I was watching the first 48 last night.
Long story short:
A woman (teen) found executed in a park in the states, was about to testify in court on her drug dealter boyfriend..
video surveillance shows them together hours before she was killed.
NO witnesses, no fingerprints, no confession. Just cell phone pings that showed he was in the vicinity of the murder at the time it took place.
Pretty cut and dry no lawyers, no media, he did lie but that is the only similarity with this case besides murder…
He was charged with capital murder, got life in prison without parole…with only circumstantial evidence. No smokin gun!
They had nothing like the mountain of circumstatial they have for killr…that gave me great hope.
I agree with you anna. I think that argument and choking incident sealed Caylees fate. M. has so much hate in her soul, that by killing caylee would be the ultimate act of revenge to her mother.

Casey Anthony’s defense lawyer asked a judge Thursday to block release of personal photos he says could embarrass the 22-year-old murder suspect.
Attorney José Baez filed the request to keep the pictures from being released with other evidence to reporters.
Calling the images irrelevant to the case, he proposed that prosecutors release only photos they intend to use at trial and keep the remainder under wraps.

Baez did not describe the photos, but images that could be viewed on Photobucket .com last fall included dozens of pictures of Anthony partying with friends.
“The images on the Photobucket Website were created over a year before her daughter Caylee Anthony went missing in June 2008,” Baez’s spokeswoman, Marti Mackenzie, wrote in an e-mail. “These images are irrelevant to her case. If they were to be disseminated, they will only sensationalize the life of a young woman and may be used to attempt to paint her in a negative light.”

Gonzalez has the same name as the person Casey Anthony named as her daughter Caylee’s nanny. Casey Anthony said Caylee’s nanny kidnapped the toddler last summer.

Casey Anthony is currently being held on murder charges at the Orange County Jail.
Gonzalez said she is looking to have her name legally changed.
Television cameras were invited into the downtown courtroom, according to attorney John Morgan, but a last-minute agreement was reached to keep them just outside of the deposition. Anthony was expected to answer some questions when the deposition is completed.
Morgan said Gonzalez’s name was taken in a public forum, so it should not be cleared behind closed doors.
Lee Anthony’s attorney said Anthony wants to get the deposition over with. He said he knows nothing about Gonzalez.
Gonzalez’s lawyer said his client may claim not to know much, but they still have plenty of questions to ask.

I forget the name of the show but it has the 2 psychic chics (1 brown hair, large nose and the other blonde hair and heavy)that work with the local police.. They’re not told about the crime just given an item to feed off of then taken to the crime scene and so on… They’re not weird or dramatic just matter of fact kinda attitude… But give their impressions of what occurred and they’re usually pretty close but they’re stories don’t always match each other… I’d like to see them down there on these cases instead of the weird attention getting ones…
Morning all….looks like it’s going to be a busy day…Dumpster Diving in the Haleigh case, Depo of Leevil, and Bobo wanting a judge to withhold pictures of the maggot because they might “attempt to paint her in a negative light”….uh Bobo, I think she took care of that when she killed her child! Anyway, if she had these pictures published in her photobucket on line previously, then I doubt she was really worried about what people think of her. She already made her skankiness public!
And what happened to Leevil not being worried about the depo because “he had nothing to hide and no knowledge about the nanny”. Now he’s going to walk if there is media? Sounds like he’s got something to hide to me!

Missing Twiggs girl may be victim of serial abductor

An 11-year-old Twiggs County girl who disappeared seven years ago might have
been the victim of a serial abductor.
Twiggs County Sheriff Darren Mitchum is headed to Prattville, Ala., today to
discuss the disappearance of Teresa Melissa Dean seven years ago with
authorities investigating disappearances of two Alabama girls.
“If I can stay in office long enough, we’re going to solve this case. That’s
my goal,” said Mitchum, who has Teresa’s picture and a composite sketch of a
suspect hanging in the lobby of his office.
Mitchum and his colleagues plan to meet with representatives of the
“America’s Most Wanted” television program.
“What we’re trying to do is get America’s Most Wanted to do a story on it,”
Mitchum said. “We’re going to take this opportunity to get exposure for our
case.”
Alabama authorities believe the same person could be responsible for all
three cases.
Shannon Nicole Paulk, 11, of Prattville, was snatched from her Candlestick
Park neighborhood Aug. 16, 2001. Her body was found seven weeks later by
rabbit hunters in the Autauga County Wildlife Management Area.
The Shannon Paulk Task Force, formed shortly after Shannon disappeared,
announced Tuesday that investigators believe Shannon’s case is related to
Teresa’s disappearance and that of Heaven Lashae Ross of Northport, Ala. A
statement cited “striking” similarities among the three cases.
All three girls were 11 years old.
All three were abducted from trailer parks where they lived.
All three girls disappeared two years apart - but within days of each other
in August.
In all three cases, construction, such as commercial construction, roadwork
or bridge building, was being done nearby.
Prattville police Sgt. Robert Furlong, the lead investigator on the Paulk
case, declined to go into details of the investigation, but said the similar
circumstances in each case led detectives to take a closer look at the Dean
and Ross disappearances.
In August 1999, Teresa, her mother, two of her sisters and her mother’s
fiance left the Peach Orchard neighborhood in Macon headed for their trailer
in northwest Twiggs County. After they got home on that warm Sunday
afternoon, Teresa told her mother she was going to visit a neighbor’s
puppies.
Sheriff’s deputies and GBI search teams and helicopters turned up nothing.
Tuesday marked the seventh anniversary of her abduction.
Earlier this year, The Telegraph reported that Georgia authorities began
circulating the composite sketch of a potential suspect in the Paulk
disappearance.
The man in the sketch, the second generated by the Paulk investigation, is
allegedly the last person seen with Shannon before she vanished.
Shannon Paulk disappeared two years and a day after Teresa Dean. Heaven Ross
was abducted two years and three days after Shannon.
Heaven was last seen Aug. 19, 2003, when she left her home for the bus stop.
She never made it there.
While Shannon’s body was found, neither Heaven nor Teresa have ever been
found.
Furlong told the Montgomery Advertiser that there is no direct evidence
linking the three cases.
No definite connection can be made until the two missing girls are
recovered, the statement said.
Meanwhile, investigators continue to seek clues in Shannon’s death. Reward
offers in the case total $20,000, with $10,000 put up by Alabama Gov. Bob
Riley and an equal amount by the city of Prattville.
“That was the darkest day in our community,” Mayor Jim Byard said of the day
Shannon was kidnapped. “Shannon came up missing on Thursday the 16th. The
17th is my birthday, and I spent that morning in Candlestick Park with
everyone who was trying to find her. It is certainly a date that I will
never forget.”
Shannon’s task force, made up of members of city, county, state and federal
law enforcement, is asking the public for information about the man in the
composite drawing. He was seen with Shannon about 2:30 p.m. the day she
disappeared.
The man is described as a white man about 6 feet tall. In 2001, he was
stocky, very muscular and very tan. His appearance, as well as the
construction sites near each abduction, have led authorities to believe he
works in construction or in the outdoors.
The man’s arms were very hairy and his teeth were yellow and crooked. He had
obvious creases around his eyes and mouth and across his brow, and a bump on
the bridge of his nose indicated it might have once been broken.
The suspect also had a prominent mole under his right eye. The mole is
described as having hairs growing out of it toward his nose.
At the time of Shannon’s disappearance, the man wore his dark hair short and
had a goatee. He was driving an off-white four-door car that was covered in
red dirt. He may have been seen in Candlestick Park before Shannon’s
abduction, and may have had access to several vehicles, the task force said.

I didn’t know Sean. I keep hearing references to him on the blog sites. Curiosity got the better of me and I decided to see what I could find out about him. I googled his name and other things and after reading everything I could find, I feel it is truly my loss.
I don’t know who would write a post like the one above, but they must be living a miserable life. I know they are the supreme example of a bully. Attacking a person who is no longer alive will forever remain unanswered. That is the way the author likes and needs it to be. A true measure of a bully.
I don’t know if the author ever reads these blogs but if so, I have to speak up for this young man.
Madam, I don’t know much about you, what little I do know comes from my knowledge of people. I can assure you of ONE thing, you will not have people still quoting you, expresses sadness and writing articles in your honor, 3 months after you passed. The defenders I am speaking of are not his closest family members. Many of them only new him via the computer, but they loved him dearly. He must have been one hell of a guy.
You must have a HUGE case of jealousy toward him, he still threatens you, even after he is gone. Maybe if you stopped spending so much time slandering him and used that time finding out what makes you so inhumane, you and those who loved him would ALL be better for it.
In other words……Get a life!
