Pickles - right after Haleigh went missing, I thought that Ron did address Haleigh before the cameras “Haleigh, if you’re watching ….” I could be wrong for the first time in my life.

Those posts by Lorim were something else. All the e-mail that Polecat did with Anthony Lazzaro explaining to him that Nanny was driving back from (somewhere), what highway she was on. She kept calling nanny and giving Tony updates. Then said nanny had to pick up her dogs … on an on. That M should have been a writer, what an imagination. I wonder what Tony must think when he finds out THERE WAS NO NANNY.

And the posts between Rick Pelsea and his sister, Cindy. WOOO

I better get some work done. This is really an informative day on here. Cant’ wait to come back and read

To be fair here…As a parent…Sometimes a swat or two on the butt when a child needs a severe :attitude change: is needed. Especially when the child is doing something that might bring them harm and they refuse to listen over and over and over. Sometimes, you just have to resort to that. Now of course Abuse is a different thing. Now Shel and I have even had CAS called on us, because someone saw our 17 yr old outside without a jacket in the wintertime,…SHE refuses to waer one sometimes, so besides locking her in her room at that age there is not much you can do. So not always are things cut and dried when it comes to that kind of topic.

wow, he was very hard on this father imo.. I mean it isn’t his job to be the questioner, and who is to say the stuff they told him (geraldo) is truth… I think until the father is a suspect interviewers have no business putting someone on the spot like that.. when we don’t know yet if the father has anything to do with it…

What predator is going to go into a house late at night, and risk taking one child out of a room full of people? Let’s say Haleigh wandered outside; there should have been some proof of a door unlocked or something, but Cummings and Croslin deny that. They, instead, tell us that the door where the predator went out, had to be forced closed, that Haleigh couldn’t open it, and couldn’t reach the deadbolt. This tells us that the door likely stuck when you opened or closed it. That would likely mean the door made a fair amount of noise to open and close it, and it took some effort to open it, right? What predator would use that door?What predator would turn on a light in the kitchen, risk announcing himself and make it possible to be clearly identified by someone in the house or outside? What predator would take the time to bring or find a cinder block, and take the time to prop the door open? How come there are no signs of forced entry into the home? To me, these are highly unlikely or implausible circumstances

What? Why is he saying this? It makes no sense. Is that why his cry is so confusing? Does he fake concern and worry, and then really cry over what he may know already happened to his daughter? You would think he would have said instead, “I’d give my life for my child back”, but that is NOT what he says. Does this indicate that he believes his daughter is not alive? Is that why he thought earlier, “All I want is my children…” because he fears if the truth comes out, he will lose them, or at least his remaining son

Haleigh was once found floating in a nearby waterway and nearly drowned, so how could he so conclusively rule this out? How can he so confidently rule out that Haleigh didn’t wander away, that he didn’t lock the door as he thought he did, that when Croslin’s relatives came to visit earlier that night, that they didn’t unlock another door or open a window when he was away?

Would you as a parent be so certain about this, especially since you know your daughter wandered away before? This bothers me

Why isn’t he talking to his daughter on camera? “Haleigh, I’m here for you, if you are watching this. I’m going to find you.” Does he even think about her being out there, and watching the news? Why isn’t he thinking about being strong for her?

When I see this interview, it seems to be more about Cummings being devastated than finding Haleigh. It’s like he is feeling sorry for himself. Why? This is odd. Haleigh’s mom, ironically, does talk to her daughter on camera, as I would expect any parent would, if they feared their daughter was kidnapped. She says, “Everybody’s here for you. If you’re watching these, your momma misses you, daddy misses you … your whole family misses you and we will bring you home”

I am also immediately struck by how he portrays no composure of hope in this interview. He seems to have zero hope that his daughter could still be alive. Why isn’t he hanging onto the fact that if he and others get out there, they can potentially find her? This disturbs me.

Above quote from Haleigh’s dad, Ron Cummings. Makes me wonder why a father would know (off the top of his head) the DCF’s rules about disciplining a child. How many times was he visited or investigated and why?

Was there NO safe place for these children to live? How bad could the mother’s home be if 2 children were sent to live with this man? He has a gun in the house, known drug user, has a rap sheet longer than his double wide, dates teenagers. Oh yeah.. lets give this guy 2 beautiful kids to raise.

Apparently, he has a problem with adult women, hence….young wife/mother and then a 17 year old has his baby.. and now, this dumb twit 17 year old. I guess its the only way he can be “DA MAN”

While I don’t think he is the one responsible for his daughter’s disappearance, I think his fathering skills leave much to be desired.

Haleigh.. I hope they find you soon and hope you are an angel in heaven rather than a victim of horror.

Two single guys, 9 year old boy that had enough, wierder stories than this have emerged sometimes with spankings not being the only thing being done to boys in some situations. I’m guessing there is more to this story that authorities know. To protect the town, the boys future, sounds like they didn’t want the whole truth hashed out in public.

Don’t know any of the facts, but before we just dismiss the 2 dead men don’t you think his story needs to be proved? Was it child abuse? And if so then the wife has some explaining to do as well. If not and he was just getting spanked here and there cause he is a trouble making brat, then that is a big difference.
