		<description>I agree with you 100%.  Interestingly enough, studies have found that adding MSG to food exacerbates the weight gain problem - but instead of banning it, no - the pharmaceutical industry would rather research a drug they can sell us that would counter the MSG effect.  It's all about money.  Working hand-in-hand with the media to present us impossible standards, they make millions, if not billions, on diet pills and related products. The saddest part is that there is absolutely no reason for them to stop. The attempts to stop the "anorexic" look top fashion designers have so long decreed have had only minimal success. Dove's campaign with ads showing normal women in a very positive light has sadly been met with belittlement. 
When it comes to money, there's no stopping them.  I would also suggest going to the websites you posted for more info and help.
