Have you heard the latest? The Census will now be conducted out of the White House instead on done by the Dept. of Commerce. What makes Obama think he OR his staff OR anyone he can shake out of the bushes is qualified enough to conduct the update of this important tool which almost everything governmental revolves around and is driven by?

Poverty levels determine who gets first crack at numerous grants and subsidies.
Percentages of color determine diversity percentages (and don’t let anyone tell you that America is not driven by diversity percentages)
Numbers of people determines how many representatives each state has in Washington. DUH!
Numbers of people also determines amounts of money each state receives automatically from the federal government.
Guesstimates will prevail, rather than actual head count… How is that fair and balanced?

It is just another example of political arrogance. The huge question is this: Doesn’t this new president (with no experience) have enough to do getting acclaimated to his job without taking on this huge, monumental task of counting heads?

HooRAY for Rep. Marsha Blackburn R-Tennesee. Someone is paying attention in the House, but is it enough? Fox News reports Blackburn said she has gotten a lot of feedback from local and state elected officials and constituents who are concerned about Obama’s move, and she hopes her letter will be prompt California Rep. Henry Waxman, the Demorat who heads the committee, to conduct a hearing. Demorats… what a Freudian Slip, but oh how true.

The more I hear Obama’s actions and speeches, the more terrified I am. The problem is that Dems are disregarding the blatant dictatorial signs. Will revamping the Constitution come next? Some would say “Impossible!” I hope it is impossible. I also pray that Paragraph M remains intact (it is the Congressional banning of partial birth abortions).

Wake up America… if we don’t watch out, what Sen. “Chucky” Shuman said will be true… “The American people really don’t care.”
