A Baptist Church located in Topeka Kansas that is known for protesting military funerals is apparently planning on picketing the Memorial service planned at the First Baptist Church of Orlando on Tuesday at 3000 S. John Young Parkway, from 9:15 to 10 am.

The Westboro Baptist Church gave details of their plans as follows on a news release Friday, February 6, 2009.

This picket will be educational in nature, in
respectful and lawful distance, in religious
protest and warning; to wit: “Be not
deceived; God is not mocked.” Gal. 6:7.
This poor child has been murderously
abused by America and her American
parents and grandparents. We live in a
nation that is cursed and abandoned by
God, whose hands drip with the blood of
millions of aborted babies, whose citizens
are wallowing in sodomic morals - Whose
new Pres. Obama has promised more sins!
GOD HATES AMERICA.

The church claims that the soldiers killed in combat are God’s way of punishing us for harboring homosexuals. The Southern Poverty Law Center considers Westboro Baptist Church as a hate group.

I do think this is appropriate to do. I think their reasons are not on the up and up. I only hope they don’t go and just add more kaos to what has already become such a circus show.

This Memorial service is said to be open to the public but yet Cindy Anthony has reserved the right to refuse certain people from attending, like Leonard Padilla. They aren’t allowing anyone inside with camera’s or cell phones. You can’t carry your purse, bring in a bag or wear a backpack. You also have to go through a metal detector as you enter the church. They are expecting the church to be packed claiming people from California and New York are planning on attending.

Casey Anthony will not be allowed to attend the Memorial Service but she would be able to watch it on TV although jailhouse officials say so far she has not requested to watch it. She only is allowed one hour of TV time and the service is scheduled for 2 hours. Would they allow her special privileges if she did want to watch? I somehow can’t picture her sitting in front of the TV for that long anyway. She does still have her little $20 radio she purchased with some of the money someone sent to her account. She can always listen to the service on it but I bet she would rather listen to music instead. No one from the jailhouse plan on commenting on her demeanor or if she even bothers to listen to the broadcast.

It wouldn’t surprise me at all if she doesn’t though. After all this is the heartless mother that didn’t even bother bringing a picture of her daughter with her to keep in her cell. I would think that a grieving mother would want at least one picture of her only child to remember while being incarcerated especially since she is saying she is innocent.

OK I admit I am against the big show planned for tomorrow because I don’t for one minute believe that this is being done for Caylee. I think this is being done more so Cindy Anthony can raise money for Casey’s defense and if that isn’t it, then it is to fatten the Anthony’s bank account.

Some of us have decided to hold out own memorial for little Caylee by lighting a candle tomorrow morning at 10 am EST. We invite anyone out there to join us. My heart and my prayers will be with little Caylee though. My you rest in peace Caylee. You have captured America’s heart. Not only America’s but the world’s heart also. God bless you Caylee.
