Once again we will be hosting out News In Review show on Blog Talk Radio, and once again our topic of conversation will be the Caylee Anthony case. So what happened this week? Well to steal an article title from our good friend Sean Krause “George is out, let the stupidity begin.â€
Jose Baez has been on the TV interview circuit again, trying to whip up support for getting the trial moved to somewhere where the case is not so well known. Short of Outer Mongolia I think he might be out of luck. he has also taken up the line that Casey Anthony’s situation is like that of the Dr. Richard Kimble case. For those of you not familiar with this case, it was what the TV show ‘The Fugitive’ was based on. In my eyes that is a bit of a stretch, sounds to me like he is clutching at straws. Baez also used the TV platform to reiterate that while he could not discuss the defense case or strategy, we would all understand once the trial is underway. Sounds like hooey to me. If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, guess what? Its a duck!
There has been much grumbling from the Anthony family over the Zenaida civil case, and the term ’5th amendment’ keeps rearing its ugly head. However several legal experts have been expressing doubt that that strategy is valid.
There is also the question of the funeral and whether Casey will be permitted to watch it on a video link.
The much talked about public memorial service is set for next Tuesday, and even that is somewhat mired in controversy. Security is said to be fierce, no cameras, no bags, metal detectors, the whole works.
I am hoping that Denny Griffin will be able to join us on the panel tomorrow, I have it on good authority that a couple of days ago he interviewed an author who is penning a book on the case. Books on this case, I feel are an ethical dilemma. On the one hand I think it is important that the story is told, however I am not nearly so supportive of it being done on a for profit basis.
There are also rumors circulating about a certain web site that could potentially lead back to the Anthony family, and could be a money making scheme. More on that later, we are still investigating.

Dear Caylee friends!
As the time approaches to say our so-longs to our little angel Caylee Marie, thousands of you have come to her Myspace site and millions to her other site to send prayers, comments, and well wishes to the family. All of these wishes are appreciated and the family does read this site and at times personal messages I have forwarded onto them from you.
As comment requests continue to flow in I ask that you reframe from any negative comments towards Caylee’s mom, family members, or the media. This site has been for Caylee Marie and I ask you to please remember this when asking me to post your comments.
As for the media comments, despite how any of us feel about how media outlets have covered the case in question, the one thing remains true, without the Nancy Grace’s, Greta’s, Larry King’s, Dr. Phil’s and all the national and local media outlets throughout the country and around the world, Caylee’s beautiful face and information would not have stayed in the public eye as long as it did. For without the media the future of other missing children coming home may become bleak. I may not agree with the tactics that some media outlets take or the decisions in which they decide to cover a story, but in the end the media is our best resource in helping to bring home all the missing kids, so think before you write, whether in a comment request, a letter to the editor, or even as a blogger.
I am guilty for expressing my views in the past too, but this missing person’s case has taught me so many things, the major lesson learned: if we work together as a team for the common objective; bringing the child home, just may be the outcome can become more positive for many future missing person cases.
Thank you for your continued support of the sites, of the family, and all the support you have shown me, Caylee has left an imprint on my heart and much sadness in my tears, but hopefully together as we move on after the coming week, many of us together can take what we have learned and put it into making changes in bringing home the children!

The Anthony’s resisted all attempts to find their granddaughter!! I don’t believe they wanted her to be found.

Cindy lost her mind at the investigators and at Tim Miller because they looking for Caylee’s remains. She also said that the media would cause Caylee to be killed because of their intense negative coverage, or some such BS.
Of course its frowned upon to trash them and kcee there ..cus they want the world to believe kcee is innocent and that Caylee was simply an abducted/slain child…they dont want no noise bout kcee and cee and gee and lee being trash child killers…

About the being fired she said it in one of her interviews and I think her Lawyer said she was fired.

Pickles, television camera’s aren’t going to be inside the church…they have a live feed going out, to all media, so everyone will see what the church wants us to see.

They have been talking about this for days, on most of the tv shows.
That was one of the main reasons this church was chosen, because they have their own live feed. That, and the fact that it holds 5000 people.
It breaks my heart to think there are so many people who send their prayers and money to George and Cindy.
They should have been charged for allowing that poor child to be alone with her psychopath “mother”, since they knew all along how unstable and vindictive she was.
I also don’t think the church will be passing a donation plate around.
I do agree in a sense Grammy but no one knows what someone is capable until it happens. Being a liar and all like Casey was doesn’t make someone a murderer. I’m sure if they really thought Casey could be capable of murder they wouldn’t have let her leave with Caylee. Hindsight is 20/20.
Maybe not Dakdude, but I’d bet my own eyes that they have devised a way to collect money. I wouldn’t be surprised if they print 5000 memorial cards with a web-site for donations.

I’m not really found of the Ants but I think enough is enough and people need to leave them alone and quit blaming them for Caylee’s death since they weren’t the ones who killed her.

Cindy and George both said publicly that they were with Caylee 90% of the time. They had a room for her in their home, they fed and clothed her. They paid her medical expenses. For all intents and purposes, they were acting as the parents of this child.
They knew that Casey was incapable of caring for her daughter alone. That’s why it was negligence on their part to not report Caylee missing after the fight. She had never been gone that long before…
They knew Casey was an irresponsible thief. They knew full well that she couldn’t support that child alone.
I have said many times, G&C didn’t murder Caylee.

Okay first of all if Cindy would have reported her missing LE wouldn’t have done anything since Caylee was with her legal guardian, she couldn’t be considered missing or abducted. Even if they told LE they were supporting her 90% of the time wouldn’t have made any difference.
yes heart I live in florida and the church this being held at was the church my wife was going to when we lived in that area. She knows the Pastor personally,, and I have a few friends and aquaintences that go there.
No one is blaming the Anthony’s for murder.
Don’t confuse the overwhelming disgust for their behaviour with blame.
They would have the world’s support and sympathy if they had conducted themselves with dignity and sadness.

I undersatnd Grammy. I just think some of it is going to far and I’ll tell you this I can’t stand NG but when she feels for C&G it tells me something. Yes they did do things the wrong way and who knows maybe they regret it or maybe not, but to criticize and speculate what they will do is wrong. I have read and heard so many people say they should hold a public memorial and they are and are getting flak for it. It seems that you can’t make people happy these days. I bet if they decided to call off the memorial people would get upset and accuse them of having some hidden agenda. If the healing process is to start it needs to start with them doing this memorial and people not assuming what the motive is. I hope this memorial turns out to be a wonderful service that does Caylee justice so all those who thought otherwise will feel bad.
I am holding out that LE is waiting for Caylee to be buried to move forward with any charges against the family. Back in January LE stated something to that effect. I believe that is why the Anthony’s are dragging their heels. They know charges are pending once the baby has been laid to rest.
I also think that had a lot to do with George’s little breakdown. He knows they are all facing charges in connection with this case.
Okay I don’t see how anything the Ants did changed what has happened. Even if they didn’t do all the things we know they did things would still be the same. LE wouldn’t have found the body any sooner we know that since they checked that area early on in the investigation. As far as moving the body and all I think its all BS.
I don’t think this memorial will begin any healing process. What WOULD begin the healing process would be for the grandparents and Lee to GET REAL.
Honesty would speed the whole healing process up. You can’t get better if you can’t acknowledge that you are sick.

There is no Zanny the nanny. LE isn’t out to “get” them. Lying about crucial information is not called a mistruth, or a half truth. Dragging innocent friends of Casey’s through the mud is not an acceptable way to deflect the blame.
All they need to do is
1. Apologize to the thousands of people who assisted and searched, especially Tim Miller. Apologize to LE for casting them in such a bad light every opportunity they had on tv. Then they should follow that with a big thank you to LE for persisting while they were chasing pshyco’s and psychic’s leads for a live Caylee.
2. Admit that their antics have been a desperate attempt to save their murderous daughter.
3. Admit what they know and speak the truth in Caylee’s name.
They could shut down the insanity.

Karma has a way of working. In this case, knowing WHAT the ants are, (G & C), I think Karma did it’s job a little out of order? Maybe, maybe not. G & C have paid the ultimate price, losing their little Caylee. True to Form, their trashy behavior continues to creep it’s petty pace, as usual. People ARE consistent, aren’t they. Karma already knew them – well.

C still doesn’t get it, I am sure. The 31 day delay, (still didn’t call, C did!), then everytime IT opened IT’S mouth, IT lied, (they checked out EVERYTHING IT said), but C still feels put upon, “THEY were determined to pin this on Casey from the beginning!”

Trying to multi-task here.
WE were driving home last noght and our little girl was crying in the back sit. I was sitting next to her trying to get her to calm down , when her father said to me, ” Her crying is drving me crazy, she’s giving me a headache, do something for pete’s sake I can’t even think here!”
He was pissed to say the least, but as I was getting things calm down, It made me think about the tape over CAylee mouth. It would be very easy for a person to just snapped in that type of situation. Could M be so pissed off with CAylee that she would tape her mouth closed, causing CAylee to sufferate?
Heart i truely understand and agrre in most aspects but Cindy is her mother and most families stick together regardless of the circumstances. Its alimost natural for someone to stick by a family memebr accused of a serious and murderess crime til the end, you really can’t blame her for that. Cindy may be trying change now but someone that far into this it is going to take a while to see that and bashing and speculating things isn’t going to help them.
Cause in my mind if a person is innocent in a accidental death, they most likely have nothing to hide.
But you hear of the cases were these parents deliberly did something not right for their child and when the child dies from it, two things happen, they call police and SAY its an accident, or they try to cover up the body by means of disposing it.

You know to be honest I only 2 hours from the church they are holding the memorial in, and if my wife wasn’t working and my son wasn’t in preschool until 12:30 and we had more than one vehicle I would probably go to the memorial

M was capable of anything violent. She has a cold heart. Yes, she could tape Caylees mouth causing suffication. I scream inside when I think of what Caylee went thru in those final moments. The fear..confusion. I think that m HATED her mother so much that she killed her daughter out of revenge. Of hatred revenge, and of course for freedom. What we saw in the August jail visit when m. got angry was most likely NOTHING compared to what she’s really like when she’s crossed. I shutter to think of what that poor baby saw and heard during her short 2 1/2 years.

You could get out of control with any situation with a young child but you gotta keep your self in check. You know it would be wrong to hurt them and you know your limits. You need to count to 10 and breathe and talk to them calmly or the situation could escalate. Thats why I say BS on murdering your kid on accident or when they are being “fussy”. We all have had our going crazy moments like today I did when Vinny threw a fit in the store but I took him to the car sat him down fed him a snack and we relaxed and calmed down.

Sorry, I still think revenge played a part in this. They say the eyes are windows to the soul. She has cold eyes. M said it herself…”Well maybe I’m just a spiteful bitch”…to Lee. This was about why she wouldn’t let her mother see or talk to Caylee. (not to mention the fact that Caylee was dead but that was before they knew it for sure). At that time m. told them the nanny took her and they believed it. She was arrested that night. I don’t believe m. snapped either. I think she would have done this sonner or later anyway but I still think C. was the last straw that pulled the trigger…….so to speak.

Ants should be charged, IMO, for cleaning that car before calling LE. Washing the pants that smelled like the car was NOT an innocent mistake.
The fact that G told the truth to FBI about smell; then changed his story on LK tells me he’s afraid of C, but even that doesn’t excuse him lying.
I, too, hope he leaves C when this os all over. I’d hoped the shrinks in the hospital might have convinced him that C is controlling his every work/deed, and that he would come out of it determined to tell the truth. I don’t think that happened. After all, he went HOME. How could he possibley heal THERE? C visited him ONE TIME in the hospital. If this had happened to me and my husband, we would’ve been at each other’s sides throughout the hospital stay. We would have FOR SURE been there for every therapy session.
I have to wonder why all this hasn’t put C over the edge, too. They had Caylee 90% of the time and I can assure you she did most of the caretaking while G did most of the playing. I would think C would be in worse shape. She seems to be fine. Maybe she views herself as far to self-important to break down. After all, the family NEEDS her to tell them what to say and do.
Oh, and don’t forget that C is the one who tried to sneak that bracelet to M before her latest court hearing. Two peas in a pod, if you ask me.
No, C & G had nothing to do with the murder — not directly — but they certainly are guilty of doing all they could to prevent LE from finding the truth. Truth? Did I just say truth in conjunction to that family? My bad.
I would love to know why C won’t admit that THE ZG who’s suing her is not the right one. Are they still going to prove it WAS this ZG who kidnapped Caylee? Weak defense, if you ask me. I AM a bit afraid of what Baden might be able to pull off. If there’s even one “weak” juror, M might be able to hit the streets.
HOWEVER, in reading about the Baby Grace case, that Mom was convicted with FAR less evident that LE has against M. Of course, that was in Texas where we don’t mess around with criminals. Been babysitting my year old baby grand daughter, looking at her sweet little face as she sleeps just makes me so sad to think of little Caylee not having this kind of love in her life. While C. is at the bank making deposits, G needs to box up Caylee’s things from her room and take the bed down. Store it in the shed or give it to Goodwill, Salvation Army or a 2nd. hand store for gently used items. I would think that room would be a constant reminder of Caylee and now serves no purpose. OF course they could leave it alone to be a constant reminder of what their sweetheart daughter did.
nana: Casey was at HOME when they cleaned it. On one of the 911 tapes of C, you can hear M in the background saying she’ll NEVER get that car cleaned. (Dead squirrels are smelly, you know) I know they cleaned the trunk, which is why LE took the shop vac. Henry Lee hadn’t been hired at that early stage, so I don’t know how he figured there was trash back there unless he took the ants word for it.
I feel certain they cleaned the interior as well. It was reported that the smelly pants were in the back floorboard, along with a knife. Neither were IN the car when LE got to it. Knowing C, she probably washed the car seat cover and the baby doll’s clothes, as well. Accidentally, of course.
They are probably leaving Caylee’s room as it was…and will auction off her possessions, one by one, as the $$$ need arises.

I don’t think the ants will ever be prosecuted for anythng. Not because they’re innocent, but because LE is focused on getting Casey. At this point, charging the ants would be a distraction from the real issue — Justice for Caylee. I also wonder if LE isn’t a little concerned that there might be a public outcry if they were to charge the “poor, grieving grandparents.” Whatever . . .
I just don’t see it happening UNLESS they can charge the ants AFTER M’s trial is over. Now that’s a possibility worth getting my hopes up.

I think that Casey did use THAT Zenaida Gonzalos as a guide to the mystery nanny.
She conveniently used the Sawgrass apartments, where ZG had been looking for an apartment with a silver car with NY license plates.
THAT ZG has been implicated in many subtle ways and just because Casey says “that isn’t the same ZG” doesn’t mean she’s telling the truth. She just didn’t expect her little scenario to unfold as it did. Casey’s word is useless, and if I were ZG I would want more to prove my innocence.
I would want Casey to explain how she found out my name and if she was there the day I was at Sawgrass. I would also want to know why she used my car with NY plates.
Casey would have to tell the lies behind the lies to explain away all that.
I also heard ZG’s attorney say there will be some “surprise” questions. I think he means in the depositions. It’s already been determined that M refuses to answer the questions the Judge gave her 30 days to answer.
I’d like to know how she pulls this off? A Judge ORDERS her to complete the questionnaire and she flat refuses? I’ve lost track of time. Don’t know if the 30 days is over, but will the Judge do NOTHING to back his Court Order? And the ants? Levil? They want to plead the 5th? How can they do that? If you’re called to be deposed, you HAVE to do it, at least that’s the way it is here in “fry-’em-up” Texas. Boggles the mind. Seems like the Florida courts are letting M and the ants call the shots.

No matter how Casey, Baez, and Casey’s supporters want to twist this scenerio, you cannot get away from the FACT that Casey claimed “A” ZG at Sawgrass Apts kidnapped Caylee. And “A” ZG was indeed at Sawgrass Apts, driving a similar car, with NY plates.
No getting around those FACTS. This ZG was implicated. Clearly she was, which is exactly why her life was negatively affected by Casey’s kidnapping claim. And why she deserves to have her name cleared IN COURT. And imo, why she deserves monetary compensation
If M is willing to sell Caylee’s pictures for her defense for killing Caylee, then why can’t that money be used to compensate the one she harmed? M is legally responsible for the damage she inflicted on THIS ZG. Period!

I believe that C absolutely is in control of the filming and am sure that she has given the church full instructions: what to focus in on, when, where, all the details (like any good producer and director).
If the media were allowed to bring in their own cameras, then THEY would choose what to film, who focus in on, when, etc. There is no way C would allow that to happen.

The church is equipped with a live feed. That’s all that we know. It saves having people filming or taking pictures, but it goes out to every station that wishes to air it.
We won’t know until Tuesday who had control.
Cindy has already made it clear she has chosen the flowers and music. She is the event coordinator. But as to whether she can call the shots on where the cameras are directed…we’ll see when it is broadcast.

I personally think the prosecution is ready. They have done a lot of work and have their witness list and evidence lined up.
Although Baez states he is being held up by this and that, it really looks as if he is stalling. His client might want things sped up, but he’s got to get paid. He’ll drag this out for as long as he can for that reason, and the fact that he doesn’t have a clue as to how to defend her.
How long will Casey be kept in solitary? Do you think she’ll be able to hack it in there if it takes several months to a year before going to trial? Also, it really is amazing that there are fruit loops out there sending in money for her to buy snacks and personal items.
Who cares if she can hack it? Hopefully it will drive her insane. She shouldn’t be kept in solitary at all. She seems to be getting the royal spa treatment. The other inmates must be irate at her preferential treatment.

Unfortunatly the jail cannot do that. If it is sent to an inmate, it has to be given to the inmate. Yes it seems unbelieveable that some people have sympathy toward her plight. I simply don’t get it. If her family wants to send money then so be it. (altho. if she was my daughter, I would NOT send her any money).
Actually, I think that she should be fined for every lie she told to LE and should have to work in jail to pay back that debt. The fine should be the actual cost to to the taxpayer. So each little drive they took her on, the trip to Universal…the search for ZG, on and on…every half-truth that distracted from the actual search for Caylee should be a fine or additional jail time.

What makes Cindy Anthony so despicable is that, over and over, she shows no consideration for the people who have suffered collateral damage from this case.
Imagine how sad it is to expect a baby and closely bond with the baby when it arrives, and then find out that the baby is not yours. This is the horror at the root of this story, and yet look at how Cindy has thrown Jesse Grund under the bus.
Recall Cindy’s response to Amy Huizenga when Amy told her in the car that Casey stole her money. Cindy immediately assured her that she could kiss that money goodbye. It was like violating Amy a second time, and I doubt if Cindy ever reached out to Amy to thank her for taking her to Tony’s place, or to help make amends. (Is it any surprise that Amy pressed charges?)
Then, consider Cindy’s tireless exploitation of the media which helped convince Leonard Padilla to put up $50,000 to bail out Casey and reunite her with her family. Casey returned the favor by not lifting a finger to help, but what came across as even more offensive was that later Cindy Anthony twisted the knife by declaring Padilla unwelcome.
Tim Miller spent time and money looking for Caylee, recruiting hundreds of volunteers. Cindy threw him under the bus, too. Its not much dont get to xcited to see any pouring out of love and grief and pain..its all just pretty letters on paper to ppl who dont matter about a child that they dont really care about.

my grandma is 85, had 11 kids, 1 died in ’42 @ 2 mths old ( whooping cough ) to this day she brings him up & cries. 66 yrs later, had 10 others, hard hard life & she still grieves for one she had for only 2 mths. The Ant’s ain’t got no heart.

Everything is going to bite them in the rear cus these FBI agents and LE are not fools..they im sure see things as clearly as any one else…the ants have shot holes into there own ships not only by there words but by there actions…they obviously had prior knowledge as to where the body was before it was found…they had some dudes out ther pokin round…they all knew…and they are guilty of crimes…covering up,destroying,tampering,false information,ect…and if they cant be brought up on the obvious money malfeasance’s that is going on in and around this family then I hope they are brought up to stand for the cover up crimes..cus Justice needs to come full circle for Caylee..I understand putting her murderer behind bars is tits and a great thing..but they are involved for sure in the cover up…they are hell bent to this day to cover up and lie and spread the pollution for kcee…hell bent…
Justice for Caylee includes punishing more then her murderer….

Why would anyone protect someone who treated even them like crap. I just don’t get it. If my daughter treated me like that, I wouldn’t protect her. I’d throw her under the bus just as quick as she treated me like trash. Then again, I probably wouldn’t protect her anyways if she killed my granddaughter. Then again, I’m not like the Ants either.

Pickles..If the truth ever does come out, then yes it will convict them too. However I read or heard that LE is not looking to charge them at all with anything. Did I hear that wrong?
I dont know if they want to charge them..what I do know is the grand jury indictment left it open for other ppl to be saught after if need be
Dear Heavenly Father we come to you tonight to ask for You to simply watch over the service tomorrow and help give comfort to those that are grieving, and give wisdom to those that might choose to make a scene. WE are praying for Caylee to have the service that although it is long over due, should still be full of Dignity, Honor and Grace. She was a beautiful little girl who never had the chance to grow up and be the young lady she obviously would have become. Please Lord lay on everyone ones heart the desire to make tomorrow during the hours of her memorial service, Let it be ALL ABOUT CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY. Allow those of us who love her the closure we need. She has truly touched and changed forever the lives of many many more people than anyone can imagine. Through our love for her she will Live on forever. All these things we pray in Jesus Name. AMEN
