Capy - ABOUT THE 5th on the question form for M? Went back to find that hearing again. I got lost, just found my way back here. Here’s the deal:

Gonzalez’s attorneys, John Morgan and Keith Mitnik, think she may not answer willingly and a judge may have to get involved.

“If you want out of this lawsuit, answer these questions and help us clear our client’s name,” Mitnik said.

Casey has 30 days to respond. George and Cindy’s depositions in the civil suit are set for February 26 and Lee’s deposition is set for February 27.

From watchin the hearing, she can plead the 5th on any question that might incriminate her.

ZG attorney said you’re only allowed to use the 5th ammendment for protection “from arrows” during a criminal trial. If she dropped her counterclaim, she could. The judge didn’t want to force her to drop her claim and wasn’t willing to allow her to drop her counter claim and refile it later.

Best part of the whole hearing was the judge calmly telling Baez he couldn’t speak, wasn’t attorney of record that day. Baez’s sidekick then tried a real tricky move… to call Baez as a witness. Didn’t go over either. hehehe

i keep caylee in my heart as one of my own as i do with all children. but she is a diferent story,i pray that god will see justice done.i leave it in gods hands. im already seeing what man has done and bozo is a prime point bout the justice system.i do beleive that le has a lot of evidence to convict her.that we dont know about.but just what was released thats enough for a guilty verdict.i hope they fry her scanky a$$. they should have done that to all the other monters out therethat killed their babys. maybe we wouldnt have so many baby kilrs now.its so sad that we as a cilivization has come to this. its like a free for all on whos killing their sposes or thier children.

minnie, I think it’s fairly typical for defendents to have paper and pen so they have something else to look at besides judge, jury, etc. Maybe it’s supposed to make them look intelligent and involved in their case. It’s usually just an act. In HER case I am sure that it is. She’s probably writing her name over and over again with last names from different guys. Remember she did that with Tony Lazarro’s last name? I think they found that paper in her car. I bet that’s giving him nightmares! LOL!

I agree about the dolls, minnie. Did you hear that the Caylee doll is not going to be sold? The sleazebag decided against it after all the bad publicity. He’s still selling Caylee bracelets and t-shirts though. I’m sure the ants will go after him for that because THEY are still selling their leftover “find caylee” bracelets and t-shirts! Just disgusting.

I don’t like the voodoo doll either - as you said someone else making money off of Caylee’s blood. And besides we can make one ourselves if we want. Just cut out a picture from a magazine or print out from the net and throw darts at it! Darts is popular in Ireland, right? Or we can make our own little voodoo dolls by gluing her photo on something. I may put her photo on the bottom of my mop today and then enjoy cleaning the kitchen floor for once! At one point Bozo is talking to the judge and if you look past him at the male state attorney sitting there he just breaks up laughing at what BB is saying! I think it’s when BB is telling the judge that he wants him to issue a subpoena to an organization in Texas. I think that may be a little out of a Florida judge’s jurisdiction. At least without going thru a lot of additional legal red tape. All the other lawyers there know he’s an idiot. And they can’t help laughing! If that had been a law class he’d have gotten an F!

Audrey, I think one can only plead the fifth in a trial. And what is means is that I can’t answer this question without incriminating myself! It’s just like admitting guilt! LOL!

It’s my understanding that BB brought this on himself by counter-suing ZFG. That obligates M to be deposed. (I could be wrong but I believe that’s correct). If it was just ZFG suing M then M would not have to be deposed. But BB decided to counter-sue so it’s all his fault.

Yeah, when I first read it, I was like WTF?!!! While the questions ARE great, that just blatantly sticks out to anyone who has been following the case. It prob was just a clerical error, like Saluki said, I guess…but I keep trying to read more meaning into it. Pickles - I thought the exact same thing when I read the deposition questions! I even mentioned it in the topix forum for the Orlando Sentinal. I mean, seriously, this story has made national headlines…how could the lawyers, (or even clerks, whatever), POSSIBLY not know how to spell Caylee’s name correctly?! Then I wondered, just as you did, did they misspell it on purpose? Trying to suggest that suing-Zenaida has no knowledge of Caylee whatsoever, to the point that they don’t even know how to spell her name…
Its crazy! And if the murderer actually did answer the questions, (even though we know she never will), does the misspelling make it easier for her? She could simply answer the first question containing the misspelling by saying “I don’t, and have never, known anyone by the name of “Caley,” and technically, she’d be telling the truth…

I have followed this trial since its inception in June, even while I was on holiday. I am truly addicted. So many twists and turns. The only constant is M’s guilt and her lawyer’s ineptness. Why the heck does he not shut up. It has been stated by many different lawyers on many different interviews that Bobo is showing himself to the juvenile attorney with only 3 years experience and he is in way over his head. They all state that he should focus on the case and stop giving interviews. A case in point is his appearance on Geraldo last night with Baden basically present to keep him in check. Geraldo asked whether he thought that M smiling during the hearing was inappropriate and Bozo and Baden said “NO she was just happy to see us” What in God’s name does that mean? To me it means that BB has no control of either his client or the case.He attempts at every turn to do damage control with no success!!!
It was painfully evident during the hearing that the judge, the more seasoned attorneys and Mark Nejame ridiculed his inexperience quite blatantly. Please Bobo, put your nose to the grindstone, keep your client in check and build some kind of believeable case.
I also think that Zenaida’s attorney Morgan fashioned a very brilliant set of questions for m in his deposition. Notice that the questions ask how long she had known and where she met Zenaida,and not specifying. Zenaida Fernandez Gonzales, trapping her into admitting that she does not know Zenaida. Then the next question is whether this Zenaida is the right one.If she admits she never met Zenaida, then it throws her Nanny lie to the wind. The she is asked whether she killed her daughter…how will she answer? If she answers no then judging by all the facts already brought forward she is lying, if she answers the Nanny killed her, then to which Nanny might she be referring. She, whichever way she answers will be trapped like a rat. Interesting! I also read that Bobo is saying she will not answer the questions even though the judge has already ordered that she does. Bobo then will also be trapped.

CA, I just remembered that when we first heard about Todd Black and his PR firm, they were linked to a tabloid - possibly the Globe although not sure which one. So yep. I bet this is another money-making venture for Todd (whoever he is) and that tabloid. They’ve been messing with this case since the start.
I also believe that’s who put up the $ for her second bail. MUCH more publicity when she’s out strutting to and from the shyster and jail appointments than when she’s stuck in jail.
I do so wish that some GOOD reporter (are there any left?) would “out” Todd Black and his mysterious benefactor in Connecticut (probably the owners of the tabloid)

Just came back for a second Jill. Good night to you too. Noticed my typos, I know I am tired when I do lots of them!

Was wondering since Ms. Thang is so into the superficial, the shallow, the physical, herself, sex, etc. if she always had an underlying hatred and resentment toward little Caylee for ruining her BODY? It was Caylee’s fault she has round heels? Got pregnant? She probably thinks so, even now. NEVER EVER HER!!! Justified murder! RIGHT. She ruined my life! Caylee always was her scapegoat, her whipping boy, her albatross - the butt of all of HER problems. She was a cute toy, at first, I think, but reality set in. They take a lot of caring, money, time, attention. They even use diapers!! I remember it said to Tony, “Shall I bring the snot nose?” And… … … he said “No.”

So squatter is STILL using people. Being warehoused, has her “room”,being fed, showers occasionally. Ha ha ha ha the queen?? Occasional showers in FL??? NOT daily or twice a day?? How awful! No a/c I hope! YES I AM ANGRY!! SHE IS A CANCER! Good night Buds, wherever you are… <3
