I've been trying to find a website or even article for some time that shows a Muslim who does not simply accept Obama's policies because he carries a rhetorical presence and likes to appease different interests. Thank you for ending my quest.
When people called him Muslim, he did all but call it the most revolting insult there was. Now that he's president, he's trying to smooth things over by making promises without furthering them into action. Once he starts doing all he's promised, then I'll give him a chance. Until then, he's a politician-nothing more or less.

You provided the answer to your question:
"Do Muslims Really Take Americans As Enemies?"

Your answer: Yes. When Muslims believe American policies are against some Muslim countries like Iraq and Afghanistan.
According to you attacks against American interests are therefore justified.

I don't pretend to know what President Obama thinks but I think that it's perfectly possible there are Muslims in America who agree with you. And who knows what, who or where they will feel "justified" attacking (whether they are here for an education or any other reason)?

I agree with the previous poster: "Now can we for once be positive and give this guy (Pres. Obama) a chance?"

Surely I dont think Obama meant that Muslims take Americans as thier enemies or that Americans take Muslims as thier enemies. May be in some cases a message has to be taken in its broader context in order to fully understand it.
I for one thought the message was: "We need to start working together with respect for one another."
Obama offers his first interview to an Arab Channel. For the first time the word Muslim is mentioned in an american inaugural address.During the campaign trail Obama was on the recieving end for his idea of trying to reach out to the Moslem world.

Thats the whole context whose background is a Bush Doctrine of 'war on terror, of Preemptive attacks.

Now can we for once be positive and give this guy a chance?
