Let's please draw a line now. Bush was a disaster not because he was stupid (he wasn't) but because he was in the thrall of some pretty misguided and evil people. I don't use the word "evil" lightly but the malignant influnce of Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice etc. etc and the effect that it had on the world is there for all to see. Bush was their puppet. And for a President of the USA to be a puppet of such people shames the nation. But it is in the past. Move on...

As a critic of the Bush administration, I for one encourage those who offer a differing opinion to join the growing national debate. BNN is one of the last blog sites where one can find both sides of the issue given equal hearing.

If it is the intention of those who speak on behalf of the past administration to argue the ground swell of support for investigation is simply an expression of “shrieking hyperbole based solely on what appears to be a combination of lack of historical perspective, a blend of post traumatic stress disorder and avoidant personality disorder” our task becomes less difficult once the evidence begins to come out.

Keeping in mind the transfer of power just occurred, Those in charge have what amounts to a warehouse full of documents to sift through and will be months in compilation of individuals who need to be interviewed.

It may very well be appropriate authorities, following the rule of law will determine no laws were broken and the Presidency of George W. Bush becomes an issue for historians.

However decades of study in civil, criminal and international law leads me to speculate otherwise and suggest when the facts begin to filter out a good dozen or so individuals who swore an oath to protect and defend the constitution will only wish they got off as lightly as Scooter Libby.

On his website, author Radulich promotes a concept he calls "progressive conservatism," which is a brain-twister on a par with "virile impotence", so it's not surprising that he twists logic into a pretzel by attemptimg to defend the indefensible. The argument over whether W. is the Worst American President or merely the Worst Two-Term American President aside, it's clear that any number of W.'s actions should earn him a spot in the defendent's dock at the International Criminal Court in the Hague.

How convenient of the writer to address only one aspect of the Bush regime to try to claim he's not so bad. The writer leaves out spying on his own people (FISA), Outing an undercover CIA agent (usually called Treason), Letting an American city die (also referred to as Katrina), Corrupting clean air and water rules, Crony Capitalism, etc. There are so many ways in which history will review Bush as the worst POTUS ever, yet we still have the brain dead, kool-ade gulpers trying to re-write history to protect him...unbeliebable!
