However, the presence of a married black man is a strong role model for the inner city black community (as was Dr. Huckabee, the character invented by Bill Cosby). Seeing a role model that makes studying and responsibility and hard work attractive will have a good effect, since deeds "speak" louder than words. Also, recent polls show that there are more married couples in the black community...part of this is due to immigration (Africa, West Indies)...may also help the dysfunction of failure in the inner city... Yes, so will social programs, but social programs don't teach the virtues needed to keep a job... uh, it isn’t the president’s job to tell families how to live their personal lives.
