As always it certainly was a busy hour of live broadcasting. The guests, calling in, too many to mention, brought up important aspects of the Caylee Anthony case. What I find amazing is just how knowledgeable people are on this case. We regularly watch headline News and I have to admit that I cringe at some of the inane questions callers have for Nancy Grace, either the call screeners are totally incompetent, of this is a planned strategy to ensure that neither Nancy or her motley crew of experts are not put in an awkward position.
In all the weeks that we have been broadcasting I can only think of one occasion where a ‘silly’ question was asked, and in reflection I still think the caller had dialed our switchboard in error!
Much of yesterdays show concerned the newly released jail house video’s of Casey talking with her parents George and Cindy Anthony. The overall consensus of our callers are that they show a very egocentric young lady. There is almost no mention of the missing tot, it is all me, me, and more me. In fact I wonder if the Toby Keith hit ‘I wanna talk about me’ is one of her favorite tracks?
Another item that seems to have people upset is the fact that George and Cindy are still trying to make money from the dead tot, they are selling Caylee T-shirts on MySpace. At best this an only be viewed as poor judgment and bad taste.
There is also the question of just who exactly is paying all of the defense team and their sundry experts. The word pro-bono keeps cropping up, but that has a bit of a hollow ring to it, there have been mentions of book and movie deals, but just how many books and movies will the market bear? As a professional reviewer, I know the book world inside and out, there is big potential pay-off for these people. A book that sells 50,000 imprints is classed as a hit, but that hardly is going to make an author rich. The movie idea is also fraught with problems, it is doubtful that a theatrical release would even be considered by any studio, much more likely would be a ‘made for TV’ or a straight to the DVD bargain bin at your local Wal-Mart, again this is not a big money generator.

Instead of trying to make money to pay for their daughter’s defence, which is grossly GROSS!, Cindy and George should be thinking about how to ensure the perpetrator of the heinous crime gets her just desserts.
I should have thought the terrible void Casey left in her parents’ lives was too much to bear and that they would want justice for their precious granddaughter. It seems that, instead of waiting justice for this baby, they want to make money to employ so many defence lawyers. Is that justice? I think not?
This is all too disgusting and it seems that I am more heartbroken over the loss of that little girl than any of her family!
If Cindy and Anthony loved their baby, Caylee, so much, then wouldn’t they want justice as well as an immediate burial for her?

I still don’t know two things:

2. Why would any decent lawyer want to act on behalf of a baby killer? Because that is exactly what she is – an evil monster.
Even if I were a lawyer, I could never defend a baby killer. That is the worst kind of crime; to kill a baby.
I have totally lost respect for Dr Henry Lee and all the other defence lawyers because it is common sense, Casey is the only one who wanted her daughter dead – so she could go out partying. Even if there was a “babysitter” (which we know there isn’t), why would she kill the baby? Babies are kidnapped for a ransom fee. Are these defence lawyers insane themselves? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm One has to wonder!

I think it was Capy that said he read an interesting article by Dr. Keith Ablow. I googled Dr. Ablow and found this great article, yours Capy I think, called “Dr. Keith: Inside the mind of Casey Anthony.”
He gives a good insight as to what happens to some of the people he examined and testified about, in the past. It is his opinion that this is NOT genetic, but born out of an outgrowth of earlier life events, that were painful enough to lead a person to abandon emotional bonds with others, and with the self. (This is exactly what happened to my neighbor/Stalker. Horrendous childhood!)
Faced with untenable traumatic or stressful events, or relationships, it was as if the person signs off from the interpersonal bonds that define real connections.
(I have some thoughts here – observations – but no more books, but will put my thoughts in another post.) You shold read his article. Fascinating!

betty1 – I don’t know about Dr. Ablow’s theory that it is not “genetic” and it’s totally always due to environment.
There are plenty of people unfortunately who had perfectly fine parents and childhoods who never “bonded” with anyone and who turned out to be sociopaths or worse. Nature or nurture is always a question but I just cannot blame it on “nurture” (Environment/experience) every time.

Awhile back I saw the only picture of Caylee where she was very upset, crying. She was in the arms of Lee, back toward him, arms extended – pulling away, trying hard to get away from him! Really looked upset – crying.
While on the site that Capy sent us, I think it was “GoogleNews-Casey Anthony”, (thanks Capy),I first found that Dr. Ablow article.
There were photos there too of Caylee. I looked at them. I found the SAME photo of Lee holding a visibly upset Caylee, pulling HARD to get away from him – BUT now with his face blocked out. I recognize that photo, and know it’s him! WHY is his face being obliterated now? AND by WHOM???
What possible reason? Odd? It’s only her Uncle.
I remember the talk about Daddy Lee, and know that Pedophiles CANNOT control themselves. Was he molesting Caylee too? WHY is she SO UPSET and trying so hard to get away from him, into the arms of someone else? I’m on the fence about environment vs. genetic.
Wouldn’t it be terrible to have a monster child and have a therapist tell you that he/she is that way because “it’s in your genes”.
My theory is that Caylee drowned in the family pool. Casey borrowed the neighbors shovel for about an hour. Police dogs sensed human decomosition at the back of the yard, Cindy blamed George around 20th of june for leaving the pool ladder down and the gate open and George said he was sure he did not. An early report was that a childs bathing suit was found in the garbage bag with caylees remains. It would make sense. Casey would come back a few days later when her parents were at work load the dead body from the shallow grave in the yard into the trunk and dropped the body off just 2 blocks away. The body would have been decomposing and leave a stain in the trunk of the car.
If casey had overdosed caylee in the trunk of her car while she was partying why would she drive all the way back to her neighborhood to drop the remains, most would go out into the country with some distance behind them. Just my thoughts.

Like my sick neighbor back home, the lunatic/Stalker. Who could tell what he would have become, IF that boy was raised in a very normal home? We can’t ever go back, and find out. He was raised tho, I know, in a home with alcoholism, hatred, beatings, generational incest which he hid/watched, etc. He was NOT the son of the alcoholic husband. He was the son of his Boss. Physical traits were SO obvious!

Criminals always do their dirty work I read, where they feel most comfortable, their area. They do it where they know everything about it, how much traffic, foot traffic, flooding, how much activity in that area by humans, animals, etc. I can see why they do it that way.

It’s possible M intended to drown her and it’s just as possible that M took a nap and forgot about her. Either way if it was by accident, why cover it up like she did and let it go THIS far!? betty1, I have not seen that photo. Although it’s possible that Leevil is a monster it is also pretty normal for families not to keep (or display) too many photos of the baby screaming and crying. One or two are “cute” and “natural” but they go a long way. And it’s not at all uncommon for babies to decide they want to be with someone else – particularly the mother or gma – especially when the choice is some stubble-faced ugly man.
I think the photos that are more telling than that are the ones where it looks like C is trying to “put down” M in some way.
If the baby drowned, the mother would have been frantic and called 911 to see if there was any chance of recusitation. This was NO ACCIDENT WHATEVER WAY YOU LOOK AT IT.
A baby who accidently drowns does not have a mother who is happily partying at a club just days later. She would have been fraught with guilt – anyway, doesn’t anybody remember that, even before the baby went “missing”, Casey got rid of all Caylee’s pics on the internet. Interesting, eh!

I’ve seen several photos with her and LV… In the one you’re talking about maybe he was teasing and upsetting her or she hurt herself and he scooped her up but she wanted comforting from the photographer??? The other pics with him she’s happy… Maybe M went through this long drawn out story so she didn’t look like a bad mom… She seems to be focused on what people think of her…

You are right, though, what was the ladder doing up by the pool. M was on the phone, texting and talking every minute of every day -how could you watch a 2 1/2 yr old child?
I knew about the pictures but didn’t know they were removed so early on. There is so dam_ much circumstantial evidence alone. I can’t wait for them to tell us why they ran to the ant cave after they finished up at “the site”.

Let’s not forget the premeditation factor here. Casey is undoubtedly the person who conducted the internet searches regarding chloroform, neck breaking, and making household weapons, etc. I believe she was just waiting for the appropriate time and place to murder her child. The catalyst for when she actually murdered Caylee was the fight between Cindy and Casey on June 15th, Father’s Day. That was the straw that broke the camel’s back and pushed Casey to do the unspeakable, kill her beautiful child.
How old was Casey when she got pregnant? 19? 20? Too young to be a good mother. She didn’t want the baby. Seems to me that’s a sign that she was raped. Cindy Anthony refused to let Caylee be adopted by a friend of Casey. I maintain that either George or Lee committed incest with Casey, and Cindy knew about it, but in her role as enabler, she kept it secret, and forced unwanted motherhood on Casey. This is absolutely no reason to kill the child, but it explains Casey’s complete apathy. She grew up in a houseful of crazy people. Her own childhood must have been hell. Bottom line: Casey is a product of Cindy and George’s upbringing. They are far from being the innocent, bereaved grandparents everyone thinks they are.

I wanted to say to XOXO, regarding insanity and mental illness.
The only way one can be deemed insane, legally in criminal proceedings is if they do not know right from wrong, if they cannot decifer reality from imagination. These are folks who are psychotic/schizophrenic and would tend to be ones who would readily admit to what theyd done because they don’t see anything wrong with it. innocent by reason of insanity gets someone still put in secure lock up but with psychiatric care, medication and housed with people like themselves.
Most killers however do not meet that legal criteria. Any efforts to hide a crime obviously shows you know right from wrong. With the exception of accidental death, or self defense most killers would be diagnosable with some form of mental illness, such as antisocial, narcisstic personalities or substance abuse among others. but it typically does not alter sentances nor play much into trial; except for defense to maybe appeal to reduce a charge.
Some cases may try for temporary insanity, but again hiding a body shows you know what you did was wrong so it doesn’t fly. If we allowed all mental disorders to be not guilty, our prisons would be empty and our streets unsafe to live. Hence the limited criteria.
I agree with you, Typistgal, I have felt that she had premeditated the murder and had not planned the execution just yet but, because Cindy nearly strangled Casey (and quite rightly so since she had just found out that Casey had stolen her mother’s nest egg for her to enter a retirement home) that indeed was the last straw. Why can’t more people agree with that theory since it is the only logical one!

Suzanne – I think a lot of folks may not want to believe Casey is cold and calculating and could murder her own child, but her behavior tells me she is very capable of having murdered Caylee. Unfortunately for Casey her premeditated plans did not pan out whatsoever. Maybe she was still plotting and had not completed plans for getting away with murder. Perhaps the only thing that was not planned was the actual timing. Her plans may have very been interrupted by this unforeseen argument/fight on Father’s Day.
As for the shovel, I think Casey may have borrowed the neighbor’s shovel thinking she could temporarily bury Caylee, but found digging a deep enough hole was much harder than she anticipated, so she bailed on that idea. Casey is lazy in my opinion and did not foresee so many problems arising in her plans to rid herself of her child. Casey is definitely not a smart girl and her parents have known for probably her entire life that she is mentally unstable. Casey is certainly stable enough to stand trial for murder and I believe wholeheartedly she will be convicted of just that.

I finally had a chance to listen to yesterday’s talk radio and it was great! Everyone did a fabulous job! I enjoyed listening and I was mostly nodding my head in agreement with just a very few shakes of my head in disagreement. We all have such strong opinions and it’s hard for anyone to sway us to the other side.
We are like ‘Monday Morning Quarterbacks’ so our point of view is coming from a position of hindsight. With that said I would like to once again defend my guy Kronk from my position of hindsight which is… I know the bag or one of the bags Kronk saw held Caylee’s remains… Kronk only guessed that they might.
There is no doubt that Kronk was as interested in the Caylee Anthony case as the rest of us. However, being a former bounty hunter he probably knew a little more than we did about women who kill. He probably knew that they usually get rid of a body in the easiest way possible and dispose of it within five miles of their home. So, with this in mind, I assume that whenever he was in the area he kept his eye out for something unusual and probably even looked a little harder than the average person would. I don’t see anything wrong in how Kronk alerted LE whether it was three, four or a hundred times. Remember he didn’t know for sure it was Caylee’s remains. I think if he did, he would have stood there all night the first time he called until LE checked it out.
The only people who want to put a spin on this and make Kronk look guilty of something is the Casey Anthony’s defense team.
Now here is my disclaimer… If by chance I am wrong, I will buy the solution for Pickles to wash Pammyliz’ feet!

These people lie and steal and feel no remorse – sounds familiar in Casey’s case? – not necessarily leading to murder but most definitely capable to committing murder and having no remorse or empathy for the victim. THAT is why she is a sociopath – I can’t understand why people don’t get it – just buy the book I am reading and it all makes sense. These people are EVIL; the mere fact that they have no conscience in itself is something that makes them evil because no crime will make hem feel any remorse. They only love themselves. Reasons that prove Casey acted alone:
1)Lied to everyone about her whereabouts for over a month when nobody saw Caylee.
2)Had a good time for a month without telling anyone Caylee was missing/dead
3)Begged Cindy not to tell authorities about Caylee missing even after nobody saw Caylee alive for over a month
4)Lied to Police who are there to help find Caylee and get her back with stories that can’t be backed up by anyone else
5)Consistantly avoids questioning by family members as to the whereabouts of their missing loved one
6)Forensic evidence was found in the car that Casey drove exclusively for the month of June until it started to smell badly
7)Casey burrowed a neighbors shovel a little after Father’s Day weekend
8)The body and the burial site prove that vegetation and bugs have been growing around them since June 18th
and last but not least,
9)Jesse Grund remembers seeing Casey drive her white car toward the dumping site around June 18th

Bmore. Thanks for that article about Duct Tape. I KNEW it could kill.I thought of that way most of all. Since M didn’t have any money, nor strength (the Princess), AND “borrowed” the Duct tape from a “friend”(no cost), I thought that would be the logical way for her to kill Caylee. We know her, don’t we. Lazy, weak, spoiled,no money, won’t do manual labor (right like digging up BAMBOO in the yard!), etc. The most logical, easiest way, for M was the Duct Tape. And she didn’t even have to stay there, fast,do her filthy deed, just leave Caylee, go party with Tony, go rent a video, etc.

Suzanne … awhile back I did a search on Google about Sociopaths. I told about that on here. We can at least get the Basics there. So many great sites – terrific. If some don’t have the money etc. they can learn much there. I read “The Mask Of Sanity” which the book they used to teach Psychiatry students about Sociopaths, years ago. Two Shrink friends of mine, told me that.
Great title – The Mask Of Sanity. They study the appropriate responses, and perform them for their audience.

XO: there has been established a longstanding pattern of lying over course of several years which would be more likely explanation of her denying she is guilty. She may now have pushed the details out of her mind and/or repressed it, but it then can potentially come up in dreams, where one’s defense mechanisms no longer work.
Hypothetically someone could repress a memory, but I would imagine there would be strong mitigating factors for killing in that case, such as killing one’s sexual perpetrator, killing an abusive spouse.
Any plotting beforehand suggest the mind is thinking coherently.

i just ordered 2 potty training movies last night on amazon, they used to have them on cable and they took them off, she just loved the one called potty power, hoping this helps…
i believe m had thought about killing caylee for awhile..that would be why she showed no remorse..if you think about and plan something then do it your mostly relieved she hid from c for a month…and the accedental overdose well you dont accedently give your child med/chloriform…i wavered awhile about maybee accedental but no more she was so jelous of caylee…you can tell in the jail visits she has c&g to herself center of attention…did that make sence???
believe it or not 2 years ago, iw ent through all kinds of tests myself for side pain heart pain, turns out mine is acid reflux, have they ruled this out? yes acid reflux is not only in the upper, the gasses and acid juice can rise from the sides at night when sleeping causing pain.. i get it all the time, i have to lay on my other side, or sleep somewhat upright and not flat… ( this was after many many anxiety ridden trips to the ER thinking i was having a heart attack) lol
sometimes the worry is just that…i also used to get it from lifting my girl out of her carseat and it never went away.. but ah well, i have many aches and pains

I am a huge fan of Nancy Grace but I do think that she has a big influence on her viewers. I’ve never heard her give any solid reason as to what would make her believe that Kronk is guilty of anything, but yet she lays the groundwork for suspicion in the minds of her viewers. I think she deliberately does that so as not to tip the scale all to one side. That’s exactly why she has those defense attorneys on her show as well. Did you ever hear her slam them because they are not doing their job of a defense attorney? It doesn’t happen a lot but I’ve heard her put them back on track with a quick jab to the right!
As far as the feet washing goes … I hope it doesn’t happen but if it does we will have pictures of Pickles doing the scrubbing! LOL (Not that Pammyliz’ pretty little feet need cleansings)

lol i know them dam tests! make a person starve and die from thirst by the time they do the test…i am not sure, but ask about acid reflus, i have it severely bad…it sometime feels on my left side like a percolator bubbling and sometimes its just pain and it pushes up on everything, which is why many people think heart attack cause it squeezes around the heart even its terrible, i find coffee and smoking makes it so bad more worse…and lying down flat at night makes the next day hard…

We’ve speculated alot about who the daddy of Caylee is. Do you think that this remains an important piece for the prosecution that will come out, or do you think they feel it is irrelevant information in prosecuting this case? Just curious what ya all think?
Maybe NG wants to make sure she won’t be SUED, I guess (one law suit now?), and if she were too hard on the lawyers, they might not come back again. Has to soft pedal everthing maybe?
I wonder if the actions of the Police, has made Kronk appear strange? Maybe it’s them, not him? I haven’t made my mind up about him. Calling maybe 4 times? That is ON LE, not him I think. I don’t see how the daddy affects the prosecution’s case at all. It could affect the defense’s case and I’d think they’d be more interested in it. For example, if Caylee was the product of incest (which I do not believe) then it could be used as an “excuse” for M’s behavior. If they can identify a living man as the father then they can try to throw the blame on him suggesting that he had a motive to take and kill Caylee.
I just don’t see how it would be part of the prosecution’s case at all.
Therapist, I’m still sticking with Kronk being innocent. I think he was in the right place at the right time. He had experience as a bounty hunter and ….IF I LIVED THAT CLOSE to the Ants….I’D HAVE SPENT MOST OF MY TIME LOOKING FOR CAYLEE TOO. I’d have kept looking just to “bring” Caylee home and shut C up and wipe that “smug” look off of My’s face! I don’t think it’s odd that something about that spot caused him to look or that it took several x’s to find it. He knows the area, something could’ve/must’ve looked out of place, subconsciously it can happen.
My husband is one who can not only tell theres been a car in our drive but who by the tires, he notices things in ‘the wild’ where as I drive by new building & ask when they put that up ( uh 2 yrs ago ) so some r observant, some r not.

As much as I would like to know who the father is… I think it’s irrelevant to the case unless M was accusing the father of killing Caylee.
P.s….Does his finding Caylee LOOK suspicious? Sure, but the media, society, and even the defense dream team can make ANYONE look suspicious if they want to. I think the defense are using Kronk to continue to muddy the waters or as a smoke screen for their defense.
We don’t live there & the pictures there were out at the time didn’t give me a good feel for the area. In hindsight when we see the place now it looks like a prime spot to check out.

TWB – I don’t have a problem with Kronk. Sometimes the simplest explanation is the right one. He saw a bag in a location that he suspected would be a logical place for M to have dumped the body. Maybe he saw it once or more but kept trying to get LE to check it out. He finally had to go in the woods and open the damn thing (kick it – look in it – whatever) to find what was in it before LE took notice.
I said the other day, that we had all prayed so hard for Caylee to be found that I am not prepared to find fault with the guy who finally did find her until some real evidence is produced.
I’m more suspicious of his boss who’s a neighbor of the ants and reportedly tipped them off that one of his workers had reported seeing a bag in the woods. I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s how the ants knew to tell Dum Dum Dominic to look there!

My response: I would think that any dog would attempt to find out what was stinking up the yard, too. I don’t doubt for a second Casey didn’t even think about that, though. I don’t buy Leonard Padilla’s comment a few weeks or months ago that Casey borrowed the shovel to fish Caylee out of the pool. That simply doesn’t make sense and just does not seem possible. I truly wonder how they treated that poor baby.. If they (ants) did fight alot with c, then poor little Caylee must have witnessed it all… That is so sad. She honestly looked scared about half of the time….

Juju, I thought her smiles seemed forced alot, maybe my kids were just goof balls but they made faces & stuff at the camera, weren’t all posed. The home vid’s of her r even a kind of performance. I’m we all can relate how r kids posed for pics or played on camera & they are more natural.
Knowing now the tension in the house I doubt it was a fun place, & she was the only small child, not sibling to wander off & escape.. I mean play w/.
Now the pic where she was pulling away from Lee to me is more what I call natural, I be rich if I had dime for everytime one of mine looked like that. Some from being tickled or horsing around, tired, or sick etc. But she was expressing her own feelings by pulling away, not forced to dance.

WOW… I didn’t see that at all. Her great grandpa was singing “You Are My Sunshine” (I could hear him singing that on one video) and I saw Caylee listening very intently to him. I saw a loving little girl who was not afraid to cuddle and kiss her great grandpa, probably someone she didn’t even see very often. When my kids were that age they were afraid of their own shadow and I had to hit them with that 2 by 4 in order to get them to look at someone and say hello. (I hope you know that was a joke! LOL… it was really a 1 by 1)

Juju, my mother lost my daughter when she was 2 at the mall, I went to pay she was holding my son who was 1, told her watch my daughter & she let my daughter follow me. I took a second to look at her like ‘r u stupid’ before making sure she knew to hang onto the baby while I flew into the mall in a panic like no other to find my daughter. Luckily it was a new small mall & she was at the fountain. That all took place in less than 3 minutes, I would have gone into cardiac arrest if I had taken any longer.
Needless to say my mother was never allowed to take the kids alone till they could phone home.
She’s not a bad person but she lost me at six flags when I was 5, she didn’t even know I was lost lol, I found her & I was scared to death!
She gets in her own world, every Kmart in Texas knew me & my sister, cuz they had to page our mother so often.

My feeling about that pic is that Caylee was probably overwhelmed by the sounds & smells in a ‘nursing home’ or whatever this one is called.
That breathing tube was probably very scary to her…. even adults find things like that stressful.
She also probably didn’t know him that well and felt a bit nervous being held in his lap.
That said, DO we know if that big fight between her grandmother & mother was before or after this visit? That had to be a LOUD and very nasty fight for sure…. even the neighbor heard the shouting.

I don’t think Caylee looks abused sad, I think the look is from the tensions of the no doubt fighting between M&C. I felt better about the funeral after I saw they PUBLIC made a more permanent memorial. In reality, M threw her away at that site, C&G haven’t ‘removed’ her memory from that site so they too have abandoned her there.
At this point considering what remains r left, which I’m sure if very little due to M let her decomp in nature & all the testing now so I guess I got resolved that the Memorial site the kindness of others built for her means to more than any funeral the Ant’s could possibly give.

C~A I don’t think it was ggpa who made her uncomfortable. I’m sure there was heated talk of the stolen $ that day, I know C’s mom wanted to press charges. Also who knows what scene preceeded C taking her there. Leaves a kid confused or torn when 2 people they love r at war.
C’s moms emails revealed the problem wasn’t new, so Caylee had grown up in termoil, even between C&G. A virtual nuthouse for sure.
They have no right to take that stuff its on private property…they just dont want to be reminded of what happened…not at all..they want to not have to drive a block from there house and see a memorial to Caylee cus it represents just how much she was LOVED…it wasnt by killr or them..its by ppl who dont even know her…total strangers…who love her who would of saved her if given the slightest chance….they dont want to be reminded of that…that Caylee was LOVED…ppl do care for her….

It sounded to me like they moved the 1st Memorial to an spot further away, so maybe why the Ant’s can’t mess w/it, a new location. When Greta picked up some of the animals they appeared to be there awhile. I believe the public showed them!

I do not like the way he talks he is suspicious, there could have been wire tapping going on, and it just all stinks… this guy finding caylee when 1000′s of searchers had already looked including tim miller infamous for finding a body, could not, and a lone single meter reader lol finds the find of the year! nope ain’t buying it… he was tipped off, to go precisely where the remains were found, just like the psychic can’t get her story straight neither.. my only concern about the guy is if he was then someone knwew, the relevance to this case if HE knew is that OTHERS knew and dominic casey too, now someone had to tell these people where to look!!!!!
in no way would I or anyone thinking about a dead 2 year old laying out there, would kronk just go about his life and forget about it till later.. i stand on my own opinion on this… but, nonetheless the fact is M did this, no doubts about that here, i just think all of the players in this case, stink and our up to no good, and if the pope had found caylee i am sure that it would not have taken 5 mnths to go back and get her…he would have made sure the first time he was heard as kronk would have…

I don’t think most get an autopsy Pickles unless it’s suspicious. But my family is weird about embalming & other things that have to be done, ie don’t mess w/ them more than u have to.
Even in death there is a degree of decency u try to maintain for loved ones. The Ant’s haven’t been decent in life even, why be surprised.
She has no sense of smell..she drove round with the body rotting and stinking for almost 3 days..its gross..I doubt she was driving it around though..IF its to risky to store the body in the back yard its to risky to drive a stanky car round..she probably had it stashed in some woods somewhere.
and on the video of caylee with her papa, i find nothing out of whack there, just a happy normal 2 year old reading a book singing acting silly, and looking at the camera shyly as my own does…when they know their being filmed they will do just about anything to mess up a good video shot or picture LOL.. mine does it all the time. I think its beautiful and its one rare vid the fam will have of her to watch if they can, I can barelt stand too and I didn’t even know her…

I’m still of the belief that M has not told anyone what she did. Even though M doesn’t care, she knows that what she did was a most despicable act possible and she would never be forgiven, even by her family, if anyone knew the truth.
So, the Ants are much like people in a firing squad where all guns but one contains a real bullet. Psychologically that helps these sharpshooters to live with the fact that it could have been their gun that held the blank. In order for the Ants to hold on to their sanity, they are disregarding the strong probability that M killed their precious granddaughter in favor of believing that against all odds, M is the blank bullet.

The video I find a bit odd is one of Caylee coloring in an oversized T-shirt. Whoever is filming her does not say a single word and Caylee at one point apparently turns her back on the person filming her. It sounds as if she repeatedly says “cheese”, but I’m of course not certain of this. I think it was probably Casey filming her and to me it seems very strange that she, or whoever was filming her, does not speak at all.

He spots a trash bag & calls 911. He’s working & probably can’t take too much time away or he’ll have trouble with his boss.
Since we know he’s had his own negative personal encounters with LE, I don’t find it so unusual that he wouldn’t stick around to insist that someone check out what he found.
If it were me, I would NEVER take it upon myself to disturb a potential crime scene, so I wouldn’t have touched the bag at all either.
He calls again. He calls again.
Hurricane & flood. And Kronk is now working in another area BUT when he comes back to that location he’s reminded of the bag & so he checks again.
He’s shocked it’s STILL there & he finally nudges the bag to ‘investigate’ this time before calling in another tip that will be ignored.
Let’s face it, the chances of any one trash bag being *the* evidence that is linked to a crime scene are pretty slim. I think it makes sense that a citizen assumes LE finally got around to checking a tip that received & found it was nothing. Citizens do NOT check up on police to see IF they’ve done their job & what the results were unless they know for a fact their tip IS an emergency.
And frankly, I’m not so sure if LP knew where Caylee’s remains were if he’d allow a stranger to find her before HE did. That was his specific reason for coming to Fla… to FIND CAYLEE and be the hero.

We haven’t heard ALL the tape OR heard about ALL the people they’ve interviewed.

anna – Adam Herman was home schooled, no public school reporting. His parents continued to collect 700 dollars a month until he would have turned 18. Their excuse for not sending the money back was that they thought they’d lose his 2 siblings that they also had. About 59,000 $$$ not to mention his disappearance to anyone. Reading his adopted mother explain it all away is like reading something the ants put out. So sad. They’d had him since he was 2. They explained why he had to sleep in the bathtub and be locked in there. Sounds like two grown up m’s.

Hi everyone, just wanted to comment on Betty1′s post about the LV-Caylee picture. I found it on his MySpace before he changed anything. It was the only pic that he put there, and I found it odd that this big guy, holding a little girl struggling to get away, was laughing. The caption said something like, “Uncle Lee scared Caylee” and he chose that pic to put on his page. It made me wonder if they liked to scare Caylee, like mean siblings.
C made the comment that Caylee’s expression from birth was, “I’m watching you, you’d better behave!” which I found an odd way to describe a little girl as well. If I was born into that family, my expression would be guarded too. I can’t think of any photos of my kid that have that frozen smile, or no smile in front of a camera. I wouldn’t have saved them as an accurate portrayal of her either. Just odd observations.

It’s hard to judge how a very young child acts in front of a camera… you don’t know if they’re hungry, over-tired or just plain cranky & not in the mood to be social.
And the way you describe C’s comment says to me that M felt SHE was being watched by Caylee & better be good. That confirms my theory that now that Caylee was starting to be more verbal, M felt threatened that her parents would ask Caylee questions. It’s harder to lie to people when you have a witness with you who can speak.

I doubt anyone here can say that C probably had very good reasons to snap & choke M. The girl probably drove her to the edge on a constant basis.
Maybe this is a “chicken & egg” question. Which came first…. some terrible parenting choices OR sociopathic daughter?
Whichever it is…. the whole family needs counseling to try to deal with this tragic nightmare.

Is there a single picture of Caylee smiling? I know my son has pictures were he isn’t but most of them capture his beautiful smile and happiness. I think she really didn’t have a positive environment (obviously now).

I think also interesting is why M deleted so many pics of Caylee from her computer. Why didn’t she delete ALL the pics if she was deleting & why did she delete the ones she did?

Hi Shan, most of the pictures I recall, she has a “haunted” look. Her videos look happier though, when people are interacting with her.
Shan, yes there are pics of Caylee smiling. In her car seat, for one.
Some kids tend to be serious & don’t smile all the time, that’s all. Especially kids who are only children & grow up surrounded by adults.
I wonder how much contact Caylee had with other children? Playdates? Mommy & Me type programs?
Now that she’s dead, LI Mom, I find that these possibly innocent things have taken on a more sinister look. I don’t like big guys who tease smaller beings to tears. As the photographer, I would have blasted him. I checked out as many people as possible on MySpace on M’s friend list before they blocked everything, lol.

Knowing that Caylee is dead makes us ALL look at things very closely…. looking for clues about everyone’s behavior.
Anything’s possible but let’s not forget that there can be ‘innocent’ explanations for some things as well.
NG mentioned that new evidence was going to be released from the house this week. Wonder what that is?
I’ll take a wild guess & say they got a forensic match from a sheet or blanket or some article of clothing to something at the crime scene.
I can’t stand M & I have ZERO sympathy for her but I have to say, I hate the way Florida releases so much evidence before a person has goes to trial.
It really DOES help create the media circus.

We all heard about the Terrible Twos which can be tough. Maybe they wanted Caylee not to fall in that category…? Like m had no reason to kill her. WHAT A TEMPER that looney tune has. Scared me. Too bad she didn’t harness all that obvious energy into some productive WORK! That’s probably why it’s there, no energy expended – anywhere – ever.

Does anyone know when that panicky flurry of calls was? Was it when the experts think Caylee died, June 15-16 AM??
M’s defense is finding the person or thing (squirrel?) who drove her to murder because she was feeling so unloved and unstable.
I thought the flurry was the afternoon of the 16th when they figured the child died. She may have been trying to locate everyone so she knew how much time she had to hide the body. I think she was buried in the sandbox that had the dome cover for two days. Then she set the body down behind the pool when she removed it to the car.

We all fell in love with this sweet, innocent, beautiful baby. M calls her “captivating”. Oh!

Did Lee actually witness the choking incident or did someone tell him about it.

Therapist Wannabe, anwser to your question I think I remember this right? when maget stole money from her grandfathers acount c finds out hudge fight C,choked her in the fight she takes caylee and leaves,there was another time when C+G said she had a check she wanted them to cash,they said it looked like the real thing but is was not if they had of cashed it they would have been stuck with a bad check, she knew they would have done nothing about it.What would make someone do these things,DRUGS needing money for them I think this had been going on for a long time,look how long it had been since she had worked and was telling everone she was working,Leaving home like she was going to work,but C+G had to have known if she was stealing from them,I remember G saying right before he went to court he was tired of all the lies!Casey told investegators Caylee went missing on the 9th and we all know she was with C on fathers day she took caylee with her to see C dad,I mean how could a mind be so messed up,think about it.We saw pictures of her there, but im wondering if i might be getting mixed up maybe fight was after C came back, must have been because she never saw caylee again and C said i have give you 30 days I want to Caylee thats right, good night everone someone tell me if im wrong thanks

My take on nature vs nurture is split. I believe alot of people blame their environment on how they turn out as adults.. thats crap. There
are numerous people that have had horrendous childhoods etc, and
become outstanding citizens.. and on the other hand you have
privileged children (Mendez brothers) who do horrific things.. like
killing both parents.
I was a psy major in college, I can debate this issue over and over..
but when it comes down to brass tacks.. I believe it is a matter of
personal integrity and personal responsibility… in most cases..

I think you are quite right, m has acted out in way a 15yr old would..
she is very immature, but I believe that goes along with her sociopathic tendencies.
If you look at this family as a whole, obviously there were situations of
extreme emotional violence, c berating m constantly.. m speaking to
her parents without one ounce of respect. I think all of this is a learne
behavior. As far as the physical violence, c choking m is a good example of how this family ran. I think poor Caylee saw so much more than anyone especially a baby/child should ever endure.
When lv is brought into the equation, that has me baffled. Maybe he
at one time scared Caylee – intentionally or not.. or maybe Caylee was just having one of those days. I think with small children, it is almost
impossible to understand the reasons she acted the way she did..
In any case, I think our baby prob witnessed alot of unacceptable
behavior.. at home and alone with m.
All I really know is that this is so sad… no one in this family really cares about doing what is right…Caylee has been a pawn for everyone in this family. I guess my biggest prob is now, even in death, she is still being tossed around. When are they going to do the right thing and bury this poor baby?? That has me so sad and pissed off…
If it were up to me, the entire bunch would be thrown in jail..forever..

VAL & Li Mom. I was reading your posts last evening concerning Caylee apperance. I do agree, I think she looks like she is very tired.. 2 1/2yrs
should’nt be tired.. unless their psychotic mother drags/drugs her around to all her “boo’s” house.. What I don’t understand is why c did not notice how tired Caylee looked. I know that if my grandbaby looks tired I know exactly why.. and have no prob grilling my daughter about it.

theres a great dvd you can buy off amazon, called POTTY POWER, it was i think 7.99
they used to carry this free on cable, and we watched it alot, its a great tape for them to watch , they sing and explain it all good. she used to run around saying POTTY POWER!! like they did in the tape, she was really getting into it when they took it off, so like a sleuth, i went looking to purchase it…lol
i have tried all the chairs, the fancy panties, everything, my daycare has tried helping to no avail.. she’ll be 4 soon, and she has to get trained SOON! hope the info helps.

After seeing the jail tapes, I don’t think G&C were too free to express any criticism. I can’t imagine not leave nanny’s phone number posted somewhere at home. Did C ever call M during the day before Caylee went missing, just to chat – because they did all live in the same house.

I think if the baby drowned, and it was an accident…she would have called. Explaining why she wasn’t at work wouldn’t be at the list of her priorities if her child was dead or dying! That is if she was a real mother, I do agree however, seeing we are talking about M, that her own selfish tendencies would overide her little ball and chain.
Ok, here’s my two cents.
I think she deliberately chloroformed
Caylee, then soaked her body in the
pool water possibly thinking that
she could say Caylee accidentally
drowned. She couldn’t reach her parents, didn’t want to call the pd
all on her own, and then something
else happened…maybe she couldn’t
get the tape off of Caylee’s mouth
and hair. She probably put it on
so that Caylee HAD to breathe in
the chloroform.
So plan A didn’t work… thinking that the pool water would account
for any chloroform smell
So then plan B went into action and
she hid the kid.
I think Caylee Anthony is mentally
ill. No normal person would do all
the crazy things she has done. Every
part of her life was totally a
fascade. Somewhere something happened
to her to make her ‘that way.’
Could she be schizo? She seems to
buy into her own lies…
I didn’t want to think it, but now I do.I think George A. committed incest with his daughter. That’s why she didn’t want the child. Her parents insisted she have the child. It must have been Hell in that household, with the sight of little Caley remining her every day what had happened. She should have left that home, and this tragedy wouldn’t have happened.I thik this is why George tried to kill himself.
