Daily News: The speaker praised the outcome of Tuesday’s elections in which Democrats swept to power in the House and Senate, in large part due to U.S. voter dissatisfaction over the handling of the war in Iraq. Describing President Bush as “the most stupid president” in U.S. history, the speaker went on to say that the American people have finally “put their feet on the right path by… voting for something reasonable” in these elections.

No, that wasn’t Nancy Pelosi summing up the results of the recent midterm elections in America, that was Abu Ayyub al-Masri, speaking for al Qaeda in Iraq, the man who now fills the bloodstained sandals of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi (see photo of former head, below), who recently lost his leadership position by a landslide, following an American bombing raid.

Al-Masri also claimed his group was winning the war in Iraq faster than expected due to U.S. policies, and said that it had mobilized 12,000 fighters. “We will not rest from our jihad until we are under the olive trees of Rumieh and we have blown up the filthiest house – which is called the White House,” he said.

He urged Bush not to withdraw his forces so that al Qaeda could have more opportunities to fight U.S. soldiers. “We haven’t had enough of your blood yet,” he added. “Remain steadfast in the battlefield, you coward,” he said, addressing Bush in his latest audiotape, presumably recorded in a much cleaner house, somewhere near Baghdad.
