Be serious. The problem is not that the Commander In Chief can or can not do what he wants, the problem is that the "war" was incented via a distortion of the facts... or at least a well orchastrated fabrication.

The problem is with Congress... they should have looked into the issue much more closely before they closed their eyes and let the "Commander In Chief" do what he wanted. Thier responsibility is clearly spelled out in the Constitution, but God forbid, while they call carry copies of the Constitution in their pocket, none of thes idiots care an iota about enrforcing it.

The problem is, as we have all seen, Congress cares little about their responsibilities to us... the people... and/or the Constitution. All they care about is being relected, and findg a way to siphon money from their "war chests" into their personal hands.

Dispicable.

Isn't this what happened when the son of a famous rum runner decided to take us into Vietnam on the heels of the French?

In the case of Iraq, no ruse was needed, no distortion or cherry picking of the facts was necessary. The commander-in-chief can do what the hell he wants, and doesn't need any stinking badges. People in the congress and the senate knew what was going on. There was no trickery here, only theater. What the voter wants is unimportant, and dissidence is easily quashed by manipulation of fear ofo the unknown.
