Cicatrix–Yeah, it’s sickening. The story is true. But no judge is going to allow this. It’s a stupid case, made the news because it is so ridiculous. Something fishy about it, too, that I didn’t even think of til I’d finished my article. What are the odds that a woman would find a donor match from her own non-blood-related husband? I’m wondering about some kind of collusion here to create publicity for a book deal or something. But this is not a serious case. As one attorney explained on a talk show, the kidney was a gift, and you can’t ask for its return in a divorce suit. Don’t worry about it. The whole thing is pathetic and stupid, which is why I ridiculed the guy so hard in the first place.

No judge is going to allow anyone to remove that womans kidney..but yes it is a true story…and yes it is rather stomach churning..but I highly doubt any judge will allow it to happen..if it even makes it to the court room

Are you serious? This is sad. I think a judge should throw stupid cases like this out of the court. Assuming, she only has one kidney that she is living off of & if he takes it back, then what? She does? Would it be murder? Then could her family sue for killing her?

..Seriously, this makes me sick.

Its quite the story….I read about it..and thought what the heck…okay its going to boil down to how much a kidney is worth..black market or legit…and that broad is going to have to pay…IF it gets to the divorce court..NO judge is going to let them take that organ out of her body.

I cant say I wouldnt do the same if I was in that situation…

Pickles–Yep, just the kidney…so far. This could get ugly with Batista’s smarmy lawyer involved. If all the organs are on the table, so to speak, it could take years to sort out who gets what.
