Jungle Fury - Way of the Master

I’ve never been in a real fight in my life.  I’ve given a couple of bloody noses and choked some people, but none of it was ever that real.  Problem is, if it ever had to become real, much of what I learned about fighting comes from this show, now on DVD once again.

Starting this December 16th, now available on DVD from Buena Vista Home Entertainment comes the second chapter of the next re-imagining of the classic tale of high school ninjas, crazy monsters and brightly colored jumpsuits.  Power Rangers – Jungle Fury – Way Of The Master is ready to teach the world of evil a lesson about being good and how to beat people up in a socially responsible way.  This next adventure is ready to roll out once again!

Dai Shi is still out on the loose and his forces are getting stronger all the time.  The Five Fingers Of Poison are wreaking havoc around the world and the Bracelets Of The Overlords have been found and sent out to the new Overlords.  Things keep getting worse and they’re doing so faster all the time.  The Power Rangers have some new allies as they are helped and trained by the master members of the Kung-Fu clan.  But with so many new things to learn, will they be able to learn it in time to keep Earth free?

The special features included in this DVD are three free trading cards and the option to get a free action figure if you purchase both this DVD and the other one from the same series also being released on the 16th.  It also comes in full screen format and Dolby Digital Surround Sound.  I am genuinely disappointed in the fact that there are no other special features than that.  The previous series had a ton of bonus material on each of their five discs and it was interesting to watch.  I thought it was going to be a trend and all it ended up doing was setting me up for a bigger fall.

This show is, quite honestly, cheap entertainment at its finest.  It’s like a soap opera type show where you don’t have to pay attention to the plot or character development.  There is the slightest hint of a plot outline and things do progress, usually in the arch of getting worse, then better, then worse and the Power Rangers are almost destroyed before, against all hope, they find a way to defeat the evil boss and the world is safe.  That’s as detailed as the plot gets and I love this show all the more for it.  When your kids simply need to sit down and just relax because childhood is hard, this makes the perfect way to just shut down their brains and see some awesome violence.  Bring home this fantastic show today!

This collection brings in the Fury!
