Beardsley testified today, waived his 5th Amendment privilege, and stated that he did not have the Ring. He essentially claimed that the Vegas investigator had lied, which was not believed by anyone. But the parties agreed that Beardsley would be subject to an 'evergreen' order whereby he would have to turn over the ring if he ever came to possess it.
In Las Vegas, at virtually the same time, Judge Glass ordered that all memorabilia would be shipped to Santa Monica, where that Court would sort out alleged claims of ownership, including Goldman's claim to possession.
