I think all people on low incomes should be entitled to help. Its good that pensioners receive assistance, however there are many many pensioners who are able to pay their bills without help. There are however, many people on low incomes who are not disabled or pensioners who suffer other effects due to the cold and who cannot afford to turn the heating up. I have high blood pressure and when I get cold I feel dizzy and sick - My wages as a Teaching Assistant are less than £700 a month and I have three dependent children too! Wheres the help for me - I would love some. This still doesnt go far enough. I think all people on low incomes should be entitled to help.
