John Edwards’ mistress, Rielle Hunter and daughter, Frances Quinn, are back on the East coast. After money man, Fred Baron, passed away October 30, Hunter’s hush money payments have stopped and she was forced to trade ritzy Santa Barbara for a more pedestrian setting: New Jersey.

The National Enquirer’s reporting that Rielle Hunter has left her fancy digs in Santa Barbara for something a little more plebian: New Jersey
The Enquirer had previously broke the story about how Hunter, John Edwards’ mistress, and love child/daughter, Frances Quinn, were receiving hush money payments of $15,000 a month from Fred Baron–who was Edwards’ campaign finance chairman.
When Baron suddenly passed away from a lethal cancer on October 30, the $15K payments to the Hunters stopped.
After her $15,000 monthly payments stopped with the death of money man Fred Baron, John Edward’s mistress blonde divorcee Rielle Hunter abandoned the lavish $3 million home that was being rented for her in ritzy Santa Barbara, California, sources tell The ENQUIRER.
Now she and her 10-month-old daughter Frances, who she privately says is Edwards’ love child, are living with her longtime friend Mimi Hockman in South Orange, about 20 miles west of New York City, according to insiders.

President-Elect Barack Obama has chosen, mostly, Wall Street promoters and corporate lawyers to be in his cabinet. He hasn’t included anyone who knows how to interact and relate with everyday American citizens, and then report back to him concerning: (1) what the people need, and (2) whether his administration’s new initiatives are working. During the Great Depression, Eleanor Roosevelt fulfilled this role for President Franklin D. Roosevelt. I nominate Senator John Edwards for this role. John Edwards would be a refreshing change. Is not change what Obama s supposed to be about? As a rival of Barack Obama, for the Democratic Party Presidential nomination, John Edwards, consistently spoke up for average Americans, i.e. Main Street, not Wall Street. During his “Road to One America Poverty Tour” John Edwards demonstrated that he is uniquely qualified for this role.

What might the lack of money mean to Rielle Hunter? It means she got greedy and got cut off. Since Edwards isn’t paying her, he obviously isn’t the father. Baron was likely trying to help out the real father and was willing to pay Hunter. If Hunter hadn’t talked, Baron probably would have made arrangements to see she was reasonably provided for but once she caused it all to go public, she sealed her own fate. Hunter’s picture (if you can stand to look at it) should be in the dictionary as the definition of golddigger.
Will she publish her rumored “tell-all” book? No, there isn’t a publisher around who will touch her because of the potential for huge lawsuits. (Maybe she could publish a book about how she had affairs with married men and then tried to shake people down only to have her lies blow up in her face.
What else do the stopped payments mean? 1.) Hunter will continue to mooch off her supposed friends. 2.) Her daughter will grow up hounded by the National Enquirer and will realize what a horrible mother she has. (Hopefully she’ll find her way in life by ditching this poor excuse for a parent as soon as possible.) 3.) Hunter becomes just another name on the long list (Monica Lewinsky, Donna Rice, etc.) and nothing more. 4.) Dare we hope Hunter just disappears once and for all?
How in the hell does this chick get $15,000 a month for a year or so and she ends up “out of cash” and has to live with a friend?
Hey Druck (the name fits you better you dumb-f@ck), believe it or not there are actually people who live on $15,000 for an entire year not to mention all the people who would be grateful to make even that much. As far as the comments to get a job, exactly what has she ever done and/or is qualified for? I saw those videos and cameraperson, editor, producer, etc. are definitely not viable options.
Maybe Edwards let the hush money dry up (and the other perks - 24/7 body guard, house) to force Rielle to submit to doing the paternity test to clear his name as Frances Quinn’s father. Otherwise, this affair will always be out there for the media to slam him and limit his ability to pursue working towards ending poverty.

There will probably always be people who doubt it even if paternity tests clear Edwards and prove who the real father is. (That’s assuming Hunter knows who the father is to request the test of him.)
Of course, if she had any sense of decency, she would have established and confirmed paternity all along for the sake of her daughter. Can you imagine being that child and growing up with this nightmare hanging over you?

She was getting $15,000 a month and she was pressuring Edwards for more. (He said in his interview when he met with her nothing was resolved and he didn’t agree to give her any money. Moody’s reported that on Dec. 1, American Media entered into a “forbearance agreement” with its lenders and bondholders under which if it fails to pay interest on its 10.25 percent debt, it “would not constitute an immediate event of default under the terms of the notes.”
If the restructuring deal is approved, it would effectively wipe out stakeholders Evercore Partners and Thomas H. Lee & Partners, and turn over 95 percent of the stock to those holding the debt. The old shareholders would retain just 5 percent of the company under the new transaction
So, the National Enquirer is hoping to make a lot of money out of this new Rielle Hunter like it did the last time.
Hunter and the National Enquirer are both morally bankrupt so financially bankrupt is appropriate.
If the National Enquirer is counting on a windfall from Hunter, they are doomed. The public is tired of this tramp and her lies and tired of the tabloid’s sleazy version of journalism, which is proved by the fact people aren’t buying their rag. (They probably are making Edwards look better since they are proving he isn’t paying but I doubt that was their intention.)
If they can save themselves from financial ruin, they won’t redeem themselves morally. Hunter and the people who paid for and spread her lies will all rot in hell.

When, Rielle Hunter refused to get a DNA paternity test, it became clear to everyone that Senator John Edwards was not the father of her child. A sex partner is not necessarily a mistress, sometimes the partner is just a whore.
Considering that she was being kept so lavishly by another guy and the National Enquirer, she still should have some money.
But if she needs child support,
she can take the real father to court and get it.
Everybody has been so quick to vilify John Edwards and
suggest that his marriage isn’t solid. Sex isn’t always indicative of the solidity of a marriage.
Mrs. Edwards has cancer, and, maybe, sometimes, when she is on various medications, sexual intercorse is not always possible.
I think Mrs. Edwards “whom John obviously adores” is wise
enough to distinguish true love from a sexual dalliance.

Many people were disappointed and each one deals with it in his or her own way. Some choose to focus on the message that initially inspired them and others obsess over what really should be a private matter now.
Many people were hurt but no one more so than Elizabeth and her children. I can’t imagine going through something like this privately much less publicly with people spewing vitriol and making allegations of which they have no personal knowledge.
Mrs. Edwards has said they continue to work on their marriage. I take her at her word and wish them well but, ultimately, it isn’t our business. (No marriage is perfect. Only the two people involved really know all the good, bad and in between of the relationship. That is how it should be despite prurient interests, especially the professional gawkers - the tabloids.)
All year but especially in the holiday spirit, let us show compassion and understanding for the Edwards family. God bless the whole wide world - no exceptions!

Truth (you need to pick a new screen name since you aren’t acquainted with the truth),
Read the words on the page and let go of your anger, as evidenced by your tone and vulgarity. No one is condoning what Edwards did. But what gives you the right to spread lies? Have you conducted a paternity test? Do you actually know any of the parties involved personally? If you have facts you can prove, do so. Otherwise, no one wants to hear your conspiracy theories.
No one appointed you judge, jury and executioner of anyone else. I suspect your life - like almost all other people - could not stand up to the kind of scrutiny and speculation you submit others to.

Some things like marriage relationships are private to be discussed between the persons involved. People need to stop pretending they are outraged. The only person with a right to be outraged is Elizabeth Edwards, and she has decided to spend much of her time working for universal health care for Americans. She has also said she and her husband want to dedicate their lives to fighting poverty. Let’s not hinder them.
Other things like jobs, labor rights, the collapse of our economy, and government bailouts are public matters to be discussed by all Americans. I don’t want to see working Americans treated like the workers in “third world countries”. John and Elizabeth Edwards are well aware of their short comings, but they also know how to fight and work for the American people.

Oh yeah, and enough people have to be willing to buy it for it to make money. (Safer bet would be investing with Madoff.) Yeah, this woman is a brilliant mastermind living off her friends. I initially believed the reports that Cherubim was Elizabeth Edwards. But if you go to Huffington Post and list Cherubim’s comments starting with Oldest First, there are many — perhaps hundreds of — long comments about Michael Jackson, dating back to early 2006. Why would Elizabeth Edwards have had such an interest in Michael Jackson? Would she have had the time to write all that?
I have to say, though, Cherubim seems to have great concern for Elizabeth Edwards’s welfare. If so, now that she sees that Ms. Edwards is being publicly vilified for posting as a sock puppet, she may want to do more to establish that she’s a different person from Elizabeth Edwards.
