A R Antulay who is a minsiter in UPA Government caused an uproar in the Parliament by suggesting that Mr Karkare and his team were sent to confront terrorists at Cama Hospital instead of Taj purposely and killed.
Such a preposterous statement coming from Mr Antulay is a reflection of what the Congress Government has created in the last few years through its pseudo secularist policies.
Now the option available for Congress is to either accept Mr Antulay’s statement as a possibility and order an enquiry or dismiss him forthwith so that such obnoxious trouble makers do not represent the Government.
Given an opportunity, Mr Antulay may state that Kasab was an agent of Hindu outfits designated to kill Mr Karkare.
I think there is enough case to book Mr Antulay under the current laws itself for trying to create disharmony in the society.
I wish a PIL is filed by a public spirited lawyer to ensure that the irresponsible statements made by Mr Antulay are taken as an anti Indian statement and action sought. Otherwise his statements are likely to be used by Pakistan to support their fancy claim that Kasab is not a Pakistani. Perhaps they would also say that he is a citizen of India itself !

You guys seem to be intent on creating a communal rift in India. Everyone talks about Antulay and you guys keep referring “Indians”, “Hindus” and worse “Christians”, “Buddhists” ,”jews” and even “Bush”
The moment you mention “Bush” and “Jew” you are not Indian and you obviously are a fundamenatlist. Your only intention is to create a communal rift in India either to distract from the Mumbai attack or to create more trouble in India.
Trust me it is very true that people who “live by the sword, die by the sword”
You guys talk about Indians, what do you know about Indians? I do not want wish to go thru history to prove that Indians are secular. But there is no comparison between Islamic terrorism and Hindu terrorism for the following reasons.
I’m a very secular person. But with your anti Indian rhetoric you make me tell some truth which may seem communal. Here are the reasons
Islamic fundamentalists Hindu fundamentalists
No of known terrorists 10s of 1000s 5+
No of attacks by the groups 1000s 1
No killed by the groups 10s of 1000s 5
Nationality Mostly foreign(like you guys) Indian
It is obvious who is a bigger threat to India. You are comparing a mountain and a mole hole.
We can start to compare them when the Hindu fundamentalists start infiltrating Pakistan and kill thousands of people there.
Of course we have had roits. But the only time there was any real attrocities against Muslims was in Ghodhra , i.e. when you assume that the train fire was not started by muslims. The Mumbai roit was started by Muslims and Hindus retaliated when it did not stop after a couple of day. We have to remember that during this period there were many roits all over India started by Muslims and thousands of Hindus were killed and it is only in Mumbai that they retaliated. I’m from Bangalore and I have seen many roits in Bangalore where many Hindus were killed and many properties and temples damaged based on rumours or for the mistake of one person, like rumour that a mosque in Jayanagar was demolished or when a article with islamic name appeared in Deccan Herald, mistake of Editor, but many Hindus lost their lives, Babri masid demolished 1000s of miles away, not supported by 95% in south, but hundreds killed in Bangalore, Gulbarga, Hubli, Davangere etc. But there was no retaliation anywhere.
Also there is no parallel between Palestine and Kashmir. Palestine always belonged to Palestines and they are fighting for it. But Kashmir never belonged to the Muslims but they are claiming it by killing Hindus and chasing away all the Hindus. If the Muslims are Kashmiris, the Hindus are also Kashmiris who were there before the Muslims and even before these Hindus and Muslims settled there the land belonged to the Indians, to be more specific, even before the north Indians came the land belonged to the South Indians. Now the Majority (over 60%) of the Kashmir is in Pakistan and China. The attacks seen in the name of the small piece of land which is still in India is radiculous. FYI Jammu and Ladhak are not part of Kashmir.
So stop spreading your propaganda stuff.

Hi! Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Tuesday said the Antulay matter should be “allowed to rest.” This was said by our Prime Minister. I think the government is only protecting Antulay. Indian government thinks only about its party and nothing else,the one who fights for the country is given such a respect realy shame on Indian government.

slk, you are indeed among the simple ignorant type of people who can’t see outside what the government and the media want them to see. Firstly as much as everyone harps on about India being a democractic country, it is not! When have people ever been able to express their views without worrying about the repercussions especially in Mumbai which is what we are seeing with Antulay. It is a well known fact that Shiv Sena and co will not let them rest in peace. How is India a free country when Muslims are still afraid to say their own name in fear? Why is it on Juhu beach, some of the flats are specifically reserved for Hindus not Muslims?! Who is it that are killing the poor Christians in Orissa? You cant seem to draw a comparison between Islamic and Hindu terrorism because you or any other person would never be allowed to investigate Hindu terrorism. It is shameful that Modi who was responsible for killing thousands of Muslims in Gujurat is still the PM, and a popular one at that. Do not give me retaliation as an excuse, that is a pathetic excuse for trying to justify a bloody massacre. I do not spread hatred. I have always thought you are Indian first then religion, but these religious fundamentalists whether they be Muslim or Hindu are the ones who threaten to destroy the peace. & unfortunately you and the majority of Indians are buying into the propaganda created by America and co. America only want to use India then throw them away and that is exactly what they will do.
I am not against any religion. I am only for equality and fairness within society. But if you are going to stick Islamic in front of terrorists then you have to accept Hindu terrorists also exist. If you call yourself secular then the definition of secular needs to be examined. I used to be a proud Indian but now I am disgusted because in my mind, India is probably one of the most racist countries in the world. India is heading towards a path of destruction and I can only hope against hope someone stands up and saves us soon

There is lot of difference between concept and implementation. Every democracy has bad governance. Democracy is good only in theory it is virtually impossible to implement.
I accept that it is not easy for Muslims in India. But it was not like that before Babri Masjid demolition. The two communities do not trust each other after that. Muslims say it was due to Hindu fundamentalists(correction politicians). Hindus say that Muslims are anti-Hindu, they indiscriminately killed Hindus all over India when the Masjid was destroyed.
To change this you have to build more trust not make some baseless statements which will aggravate the problem even further.
We can discuss such things during peaceful times. But when terrorist attacks are happening such comments add more fuel to the already burning sentiments.
