Uhuru? UHURU?
Faker.

Anyone reading his comment would know he is ignorant, but could I point out that no Zimbabwean would use that name.

That is a word in Swahili, not ChiShona.

In 1980, all parts of Zimbabwe, except a narrow strip within a carefully controlled "Fly Belt" in the Zambezi Valley was Tsetse Fly free. The Fly Belt was virtually free of human population and a paradise for wildlife - which is immune to "The Fly".

Also in 1980, Zimbabwe (then called Rhodesia) was known as the "Bread Basket of Africa" and the country not only fed its entire population well (despite the ongoing war against Mugabe's terrorists) but also exported food to neighbouring states.

Zimbabwe inherited what was probably the best infrastructure of any African State south of the Sahara. That's why it is such a shame all has been destroyed.

Sad. My friend just wrote that locals in her rural area are starving...not much rain this year.

If there was irrigation, the tsetse fly free (?) Zimbabwe could be like Kansas, a place once called the "great American desert" but with hybrid crops and irrigation can feed the world...

sigh.
