Today I was working and managed to catch the sentencing of OJ Simpson on the television. I am so glad he is finally behind bars as it has been 13 years too late. America knew he was guilty then and is guilty now. Judge Glass called him arrogant and was so glad that she saw right through him. I also saw Kim Goldman and her father in the courtroom and I know this was a bittersweet moment for them. I know they are going to sleep well tonight and now Ron can rest in peace. The Goldmans have been troopers through all of this. They have persevered and made every attempt they could to see justice served.
Simpson made his plea and kept insisting he was not trying to harm anyone or steal anything. Folks, bullies always minimize their bad behavior and do what they can to wiggle out of any punishment. I guess he and his golfing pal, Clarence Stewart, will still try and wiggle out of this one through appeals. Clarence stated he had physical problems. Well, before he acted in this crime, he should have thought long and hard about that one. He chose to act with OJ in this. What gets me and has gotten me is that OJ has continued to skate by and the evidence on tape showed how entitled he felt in this and how above the law he thought he was. Judge Glass told him his actions were harmful. Bullies never seem to let this register. Their actions have conseqences and they are not entitled to anything.
I am just glad that Simpson is where he belongs once and for all. He could be serving up to 33 years but they say he could be up for parole in as few as 6 to 9 years. I hope when he goes up, the board will continue to detain him. True, this sentence has nothing to do with the murders but its the fact that he has gotten away with so much and has tried to profit from these events. Its time for him to pay the piper and I am glad to see a bully get his comeuppance once and for all.

I feel the same way, he got what he deserved. Not long enough though as far as i am concerned. He will be out in no time. Arrogant it the word all right.

In the spirit of O.J. to Christmas songs…there was a version of ‘Walking In A Winter Wonderland’ that was changed to fit O.J.’s aquittial in ‘94. The chorus was, “Walking and he never took the stand”. Everytime I hear that song at Xmas, I think of that creep O.J.!
O.J. has been able to charm his way out of everything and it all started with him being admitted to USC! Then, his Hollywood exploits gave him continue fame, in some people’s eyes, that allowed this “celebrity treatment” to continue!
What a joke his blubbering act in front of the Judge was! If anyone ever wondered if O.J. was ignorant, he opened his mouth and removed all doubt! His appeal chances are now zero! Nice job O.J.! No more accurate words have been spoken than O.J.’s admission, “I was stupid”! LOL
You see, O.J. is a “trailblazer” in American sports. O.J. was one of the first “athletes” that had no business being in college! But, he was a great football talent and USC “looked the other way” for the sake of winning at all costs! Take a peek at the current USC program…YIKES! I’m sure the Professors at that school enjoy reading the Trojan players essays! LOL
When it comes to O.J.’s qualifications to enter college, that would be comparable to my qualifications to fly the Space Shuttle! There’s no way either should ever happen! The “bar” for ethical college sports is so low now, I doubt it will ever be established again to ensure that true student/athletes participate!
Now, University rosters are filled with idiots like O.J., who have no business setting foot on a college campus, other than to do manual labor of some sort! O.J. is a prime example of a man who thought he was above all laws! He was always treated like a God because of his skills on an athletic field. So he’s “entitled” to different treatment than “regular” folks!
As far as trailblazing,I do have to give O.J. credit! He paved the way for the likes of Michael Irvin, any University of Memphis basketball player, Michael Vick, ‘PacMan’ Jones and Plaxico Burress! Hell, there are too many of these idiots to name!LOL O.J. you were ahead of your time indeed! LOL

Keep in mind your guy, O.J. has been hanging out in the corrupt State of Navada since, “1959, working jobs for his uncle”. So Nicole was into cocaine, O.J. picked up the tab but had no other involvement in drug trafficing? Ok. Remember this saying, ” If you run with the dogs, you’ll get fleas”!
It’s amazing how Simpson and the current “victim” of the century, Casey Anthony, have had all this evidence against them “planted”. I knew race would be mentioned, now, I’m sure Ms. Anthony is being mistreated due to her being a woman! Such an easy out!
I guess O.J. shouldn’t have “picked up the tab”… Thank God there was an audio recording or he’d be free again!
