There may be "Global Warming" but, as Nancy Reyes says that's a phonemenon as old as the Globe itself. In Africa there have been regular "dry" and "wet" periods for as far back as geology can trace it. Africa is a good place to research global warming, because the geology has been relatively stable for aeons. Man made "global warming" took place long before man appeared on Earth - even in Africa where "man" is first supposed to have emerged.

Everything and anything is being blamed on global warming. It is the new hysteria of the moment.

If you read history, climate change is not new: My old home in Minnesota was covered with glaciers ten thousand years ago.

What I am skeptical about is the religion of global warming, that sees every problem as man's fault, and have a totalitarian answer to the problem...

For local politicians, it means lots of donated money that lets them can divert some of it into their own pockets.

"I’m an agnostic on global warming: I figure climate change may or may not exist..."

Join the club. The club, that is, of the terminally ignorant. The club of those who are too blind to see. The club of those who couldn't be bothered to check the facts before they reveal their ill-informed prejudices. The club of those who live only in the present and don't give a damn for the future of the planet. The club, all too often, of the dim numskulls of the Right who seem to think that to draw attention to the FACTS of global warming and climate change is only for pinkoes.

It is, as someone said, an "Incovenient Truth". But it's the truth nevertheless. Ignore it at your peril. Discredit it at your shame...
