I have seen the beginning of Changes in Cindy. I really have.The 48 hours special has shown me that she is 'starting' to see things and realizing, her daughter may have done this. I know it is insane to some that this person seems to be so out of touch, but I really think she is with her thoughts and mindset. I think she is just now finally "starting" to realize, her Casey may have done this to Caylee. Cindy had her little life compartmentalized, everything is done this way, and that makes her feel like her life is normal. In her mind. Think about how her mind works for example when she said: Caylee was all of ours.. No! Caylee was Casey's daughter and she was the Grandma to Caylee, but that is not how Cindy see's things and or thinks. AI felt sadness, I really saw the start of change in a person who can't handle bad things to happen in her life. I have always bagged on Cindy, frustrated and not understanding how and why could you say some of the things your saying? Example" what the car smelled like, then to change it, was just one of the many frustrating things about this family and case. But, last night I realized just how much Casey needed help, needed someone to really intervene in her downward spiral that went beyond my comprehension. She needed to be helped years before Caylee went missing, with her lying and stealing and out of control behaviors. Last night I realized that Cindy actually is making the adjustments, realizing that Casey may get sentenced for the murder of her daughter Caylee. She did say a few things last night in which I saw the small, tiny changes in her thoughts over all of this, some of what Cindy was saying on the show was taken from tapes from earlier ( months ago) shows. Not her speaking to date etc... Last night I really saw how Casey will be convicted of this crime just seeing it more pieced together, and that no one wins here. When Casey is convicted, It will be a relief but sad at the same time for me.Caylee is gone for ever and a Young mother "who needed help" will be gone forever too. I just don't see the sentencing day as a Happy one. I see an extrememly dsyfunctional family that pretended their worlds we're fine, that was how they seemed to cope and survive their dsyfunction. The parents needed help on being parents, way before this happened to Caylee, but I know that Cindy never thought Casey would intentionally and or accidentally hurt Caylee, she just never saw that coming, and still has trouble with that image and or thought, but I do believe she is realizing that may be what actually happened to Caylee. I also heard her say: The truth will set Casey free, I really believe that Cindy was referring a Biblical sense, and she wants Casey's soul to be released and forgiven.
