Jindal may have what it takes, but he has a long way to go to catch up with Sarah Palin. Despite an incredible campaign of lies and misinformation about her, and despite the Dems outspending the GOP two-to-one, Sarah still managed to salvage 47% of the vote for the GOP. Now that the anti-palin smears have been exposed as baseless rumour-mongering (Africa is a continent, she spent $150k on clothes etc etc), we can get back to real campaigning. Sarah, Bobby and all the rest have the opportunity to prove their commitment to the GOP over the next two years, starting with Georgia and Minnesota.

The future of the GOP: Jindal.

Unlike Sarah Palin, Jindal is a true intellectual and a fiscal conservative. We don't need a beauty queen from Alaska that has no knowledge of the world or current events, as our President or V.P.

My God, Palin claimed to have foreign experience because Alaska is next to Russia. Are you kidding? Using that rational, I'm an expert on Poland because my neighbor is Polish.

McCain picked Palin to get the GOP base and attract the Hillary Clinton independants. That strategy failed, and failed miserably.

Not only is Jindal a Rhodes Scholar, he actually knows that Africa is not a country.

Touted by Rush Limbaugh and Newt Gingrich as the GOP's future. I hope Jindal runs for the office in 2016, or unless Obama screws up big in 2012.
