I keep thinking that this is another ploy of Casey’s to throw the people off the track. She probably was sedating her daughter for her own pleasures. I am wondering why, the night her daughter disappeared, she called her ex. Someone could have helped Casey with some part of this. Casey is guilty. No doubt in my mind. Her parents are in denial or they are trying to save their daughter because they realize by now they have lost the granddaughter. They know. I would bet money on it. Not that they were there when it happened. But when the grandmother called she did it to protect her daughter because she knew it was too late for Cayley. And they probably willingly are helping her cover it up.

I just read on WESH that the state was saying there may not be enough evidence to pursue the death penalty, not enough proof of aggravating factors or something to that effect. To me, this seems like really bad timing to come out with such a statement, when the defense side is showing signs of flinching. I was wondering, do any of you all have any theories WHY the state would do this NOW of all times, when this could have been announced later, certainly after this weekend perhaps.

To take anothers life is soooo wrong, but to kill your own sweet baby, and not shed a tear(except for herself) it beyond my comprehension. I hope if she doesnt get the DP, the other inmates give her a taste of her own medicene…
Only two more days till we begin our search for this baby, it will be a bittersweet moment when they find her..lots of tears of happines, but more tears for the reality that she is really gone. I think it is going to be so emotional when they bring out that smal body bag carrying this precious child.
If it were not for the fact that i believe firmly that she is in the hands of our almighty Father, the image would be crushing.
Let us all pray the find her fast, and especially pray for those involved.
I know for sure I would not want to be the one who finds her..
Emotionally I do not think I could be that strong..

Welp today was interesting to say the least..the defense team made a half a~~ confession for a sociopathic woman that overdruggd her own daughter due to pdd so that she culd go and get laid…then they drug out some grainy crap pictures of her to spare her life from death row…I feel sooo draind…I was talkn to a lady at muh sons school about it today and it wus just amazing how its capturd everyone across the nation…She must be held responsible for this crime…because no where in America is it ok to drug your small child with anytype of sedatives be it out of a RX bottle or a bleach bottle…and no where in America is it ok to leave your small child in the trunk of a car sedated so that you can go and live the high life…NO WHERE it is not acceptable..then to slap us yet again in the face and claim post pardom depression….like the rest of the loser woman who have murdered there children. Its not ok nor will we as a public sit idly by and accept it…Id like to find out what we can do as a ppl with a voice and a heart to help educate and inform other “young women” so that we never ever have to endure the emotional strain and rollercoastr that this young woman has burdend us with..It may sound stoopd but I today am drained and broken…and I dont even kno these ppl..I have never met that child that I wunt to take into my arms and cherish forever..I have never met them yet they have totally turnd mine and all of our worlds upside down…There has to be something we as a group can do…

well….they can offer her a deal — and BB might encourage her to take it — but she has refused all deals so far, has refused to change her story, has refused to talk–I don’t see her accepting a deal. I think she still thinks she can beat whatever they bring on.
And, at this point, if they aren’t going for the death penalty, then she may not get much time at all.

Since they put the check charges after the murder trial, makes me think they are afraid she will get little time for the murder, and then try to get more time with the check charges.

Wouldn’t the prosecution saying that there may not be enough to go for the death penalty ruin the possibility of scaring M into fessing up and telling where the body is? when and if they find baby…wouldn’t that delay the trial? for forensic testing and stuff?

the article above makes me think even with a body they don’t have evidence of aggravating circumstances required for death penalty. They would have to be able to prove she meant to do it and really, *how* she did it to prove *that*

They have to try for it anyways…I cannot accept that they will not try for it. Comeon! This was one of the most heinous cases I have ever heard of. She did that innocent child in for sheer selfishness, or if not that definite intentions..they have to try for it..Write me up a petition I will be the first to sign it!

oh yeah…..they are for justice for caylee and have no liking or sympathy to momster. One person commented on “leaving the people alone who want to donate to casey’s $$$ jail fund”……but they got shot down REAL fast! Just threw back to them that I wonder if they considered donating to EquuSearch instead of momsters jail fund?????? Let’s see…..donate to mom who murdered her child (accidentally or not) so she can enjoy her jail stay…….or donate to EquuSearch to help find Caylee who didn’t deserve what she got?????
Your right Kris, this will be a difficult weekend. I hope it brings closure to Caylee’s whereabouts! I will be checking in towards the early evening to see how things are going. Prayers everyone!

Hi Kris..nice to see ya! I know I haven’t prepared myself for finding baby…I don’t think I know how..? It is not a reality yet…to hear the words on tv will certainly hit home…and hard…I have alot of pent up emotions where this is all concerned..alot of anger on the surface…and the stuff deep down is gonna come out…when it is all too real to take!

Gumshoe..Do you know anything on wether or not they will still seek the death penalty if they don’t find the body? I think they will but I was just wondering if anyone knew which way they were leaning.

Prosecutors say they don’t know if they have enough evidence to seek the death penalty against Casey Anthony, who is accused of killing her daughter, Caylee, WESH 2 News learned on Thursday.

But Randy Means of the state attorney’s office said there are doubts they have enough aggravating factors to get the death penalty at this time.

This weekend will be very trying on everyone..we all tried to mentally prepare for this because the reality of it happening was too strong, and evidence too overwhelming. But when it comes down to it and it is confirmed with the find..I think we will still all be heartsick and crying. Many shoulders will be needed within the blog…so I welcome all newcomers as well as the regular posters to be in here.
