Snow Days

I used to love snow days when I was in school.  It was snowing outside and I didn’t have to go to school.  What could possibly be better?  The best was when I was a senior in high school, because I graduated at a set date no matter what, so I never had to make up any snow days.  Unfortunately, I don’t get snow days at work.  Even when it was so bad that I got stuck in the middle of the parking lot and had to dig myself out with the trenching tool I keep in the trunk, I still had to report to work.  Now there’s a new DVD out which your kids will love and will help keep them entertained on their snow days.

Starting this November 4th, now available on DVD from Lionsgate Films and HIT Entertainment comes the definitive collection about fun in the winter time and it looks like it’s just in time too.  Snow Days is ready to come roaring out of your television screen and bring flurries of fun into your living room.  Bring home this great winter DVD today!

This DVD contains six fantastic episodes from each different show.  From Barney and his friends, we get the episode “A Visit To Santa.”  In this episode, the kids are writing letters to Santa, but when one doesn’t get done on time, Barney has to take it to the old man himself.  From Thomas and his friends, we get the episode “Thomas’ Tricky Tree.”  In this episode, it’s winter and Thomas has to go get the Christmas tree, but will a little teasing get him to mess it all up?  From Bob and his Can-Do Crew, we get the episode “Mr. Bentley’s Winter Fair.”  In this episode, Bob and his crew are rushing against time to get the fair set up in time.  From Angelina the dancer, we get the episode “No Match For Angelina.”  In this episode, the boys won’t let Angelina join their hockey team, but she won’t let that hold her back.  From Sam the fireman, we get the episode “The Big Freeze.”  In this episode, a sheep needs to keep warm and things almost go terribly wrong.  Finally, from Pingu, we get the episode “Pingu At Sledge Academy.”  In this episode, Pingu has to go and learn how to sled safely after breaking all the rules.

The one special feature included in this DVD is a special bonus episode of Fifi And The Flowertots, “Soup Of The Day.”  In that episode, Fifi and Primrose decide to make soup, but things get way out of hand.

As is always the case, this collection of six shows and a bonus seventh is decidedly wonderful.  I’m almost positive that television shows for children weren’t this good when I was young and I’m jealous of kids that get to grow up with these DVDs for companionship.  Your kids will love this show and so I recommend this for all parents.

Your kids will love these Snow Days!

HIT Entertainment is one of the world’s leading independent children’s entertainment producers and has teamed up with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment to release a whole set of child content and themed DVD boxed sets.
