Off the Baa/Three Amazing Adventures

British humor is simply sublime.  There are no two ways about it.  The British have exceeded the Americans for decades with their understanding of what exactly is and is not completely hilarious.  Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, the whole Shaun Of The Dead crowd, what’s not to love about such groundbreaking humor?  Now there is a new DVD out from one of the best children’s television shows made by British people.

Starting this November 11th, now available on DVD from Lionsgate Films and HIT Entertainment comes the first DVD collection ever about the greatest British sheep to ever live.  Shaun The Sheep – Off The Baa! is ready to stomp into your living room and bring in a whole herd of fun.  Bring home this entertaining and hilarious DVD today!

Shaun was first featured in another movie with Wallace and Gromit and people loved him, so they decided to give him a series of his own.  Now with over forty episodes and one of the top shows on the Disney Channel, it was time for release eight adventures on DVD for the first time ever.  In these hilarious stories, Shaun decides that he should be a soccer player, the sheep must rescue a stolen teddy bear, Shaun is mistaken for being the mother of a whole flock of baby chicks, a goat tries to eat everything, and I mean everything, in sight, the sheep try to keep their own wool and so much more.

The special features included in this movie are a look at all of the animal characters which populate the series along with some sneak peaks at three new Nintendo video games coming out of this and other related series’.

In my opinion, the absolute best thing about this series is that, with the specific British accent the actors use, “Shaun” sounds just like “shorn.”  I laugh every single time they say his name.  Not to mention, the guys who make this show are also the minds behind Wallace & Gromit, one of the greatest animated series of all time and the true future of both British humor and claymation.  The humor in this show is highly developed and so ridiculously funny.  It’s a treat to see Shaun again and it’s an even bigger treat to be able to see these episodes together for the first time ever.

Don’t be Sheepish, you’ll love this film.

HIT Entertainment is one of the world’s leading independent children’s entertainment producers and has teamed up with 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment to release a whole set of child content and themed DVD boxed sets.
