WHAT on earth. I'm a student and college and sadly I have had less than adequate time to look into what each candidate is offering. I plan on cramming it into tonight and tomorrow as you can tell. I realize that coal mines don't affect everyone but I'm from a small community where evereyon has a job because of the coal mines or power plants. If the coal mines go bankrupt so does everyone there. His solution may have some good points to it but he is NOT taking into account the heart blood of the Nation, the middle class.

Marcia said, "Unfortunately, many businesses, large and small, will be laying people off and raising prices under the Obama administration’s policies."

Ya know what? I think we can beat him, but it will take everyone going out and voting for McCain (not a third party candidate), regardless of what any polls say. I don't trust the media: don't believe anything they say on Election Day!!! Go out and vote for McCain, because the thought of an Obamination is scaring the cr@p out of me!

America has no choice but to use all of its indigenous energy resources - including coal. Clean burning coal will be a big part of the energy mix = it is scaremongering to suggest otherwise

This whole cap and trade business is a lot of hogwash anyway. The idea that carbon dioxide is a pollutant, for example. Somehow we must teach some real science to our political leaders so they stop working on what is not the problem. Leave coal alone. Leave oil alone. Clear the playing field and let America prosper. Anybody with any sense knows that the whole idea of manmade global warming and carbon trading was made up by somebody with a political agenda to wipe out American prosperity. It has to end. NOW is a good time.
