Even before she met Tony - the fact she was looking up “missing child” sites in like March signals to me she had an idea of what would drive C around the bend.

Maybe having a new boyfriend who finally minded Caylee staying over was what made her get impulsive about how. I still wish I know when the chloroform searches happened. I’m sure she was using Zanny Xanax before, but that might not knock her out cold.

I can’t find a book thread for Untraceable, although BOP you might like it, it’s filmed in Portland.

Otherwise she could just leave her with her parents and go party. It’s not like she cared about her kid or wanted to save her from anything. She was more than happy to ditch her every second she got. So why kill her to get her out of the way? I think she was jealous of how C loved her more and wanted to stick it to her the best way she knew how which was to permanently deprive C of the object of C’s affection.

As for the movies, they were new releases in June - I rented them myself around that time. Tony could have picked them for all I know. They were popular date movies - particularly Jumper - aimed at that demographic.

I just tend to feel sorry for the kids who befriended this girl, hung out with her for such a short while, and now find themselves in the middle of such a monstrous situation. They may be vacant-headed little party kids but it could happen to anyone. I’m sure it’s changed all of their lives forever and made it difficult to trust people going forward.

She just knoecked her out with the chloraform and then threw her in the trunk with the rag and waited for the end to come. The forensics said there were hairs believed to be Caylees that did not have the death band, so they thought she was put in there alive, and died in the trunk. We know m wouldn’t do anything that required much effort.

like when two teenage girls tell their moms “I’m spending the night with so-and-so” and you have to cross reference to see if they are really there.

bumps and CA - you may be right about the frame of mind thing. it may have echoed that or reinforced it or legitimized it somehow for her. But her frame of mind was already whackadoodle. She had been up all night the night before talking on the phone, her mom had tried to choke her, she had threatened to take her daughter away, which was her only meal ticket - I think C and G did not want to press charges for all the stealing she was doing cuz they didn’t want Caylee to have to visit mom in jail or something. So C decided to punish them and also to “please” her boyfriend who was uncomfortable having a toddler out on a date or to stay at his house (which was really inappropriate - he had all kinds of guys crashing there).

At 9:38 I said that I thought the way Tony wears his hat shaved points off his IQ. Anyone who wears a hat like that automatically looks more stupid than they may be (to me).

‘way off the mark’ as mine as is right now.. we all feel a personal responsiblty for how could my child turn out the way they have…
She was definately not raised this way… nor am I any way a SOCIALPATH as c and M. But sometimes raising a child that has given nothing but heartache is emotionally draining. THO NOT FOR ONE MOMENT if my girl did something to my sweet Alli, would I stand by and enable her.. NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.. I love my daughter, but I LOVE my grandbaby more…

If Caylee was already in the trunk then she didn’t use the film for that idea. If she wasn’t yet, I think she would have been whenever she moved her from the backyard because it wouldn’t be logical to put a body anywhere else.

As far as the earlier comment about accomplices goes, I firmly believe that nobody but an Anthony in this case has anything to hide. People have often wondered why the new patio was done in July…

She’s been doing that since her first taped interview with LE where she accuses them of only looking for a dead Caylee and won’t hand over phone or cc records.

NO ONE wants to think LE may be looking for a dead child, but unless you have a pretty good idea that yours is, you don’t get mad at them for trying all avenues.

Cindy pleads for them to only look for a live Caylee; I used to think it was because she couldn’t face the thought her granddaughter might not be. But the more we’ve seen her behavior, the more I think it’s about not being formally charged as Mom of Momster.

I hope Tim Miller finds that poor little girl this weekend. After hearing Kobe on NG, I would like solid proof so there’s no wiggle room for the defense. If they get to throw out all the Body Farm evidence because others had access to the car, will be such an injustice.

ORLANDO, Fla. — The grandmother of a missing Orlando girl fired back Thursday after she apparently heard harsh statements against her on a national TV show as a search for the child continues.
The founder of a group organizing daily Central Florida searches for missing Caylee Anthony, Tim Miller, said he was furious with Cindy Anthony after what he said was a lack of cooperation.

“I’m pissed off,” Equusearch’s Miller said. “I feel as though we have been used in this and we are not getting any cooperation. We have done everything Cindy Anthony has asked us to do.”

Cindy Anthony apparently heard comments from Miller and bounty hunter Leonard Padilla on CNN’s Nancy Grace show and released a statement from a family representative Thursday.

“Leonard Padilla and Tim Miller came to me under false pretenses — both claiming their sole purpose to find Caylee alive. Tim Miller misrepresented his intentions, and is falsely accusing me of not cooperating with him, when it is evident his motives were to obtain publicity for his organizations at the expense of exploiting my granddaughters’ disappearance. Tim Miller tried to discredit Kid Finders Network by falsely stating that they tried to pull out of the search for Caylee. Mr. Miller also claims that he spent twelve hours in my home with my family including Casey, when in fact he spent only a few hours total with me and minutes with Casey. This is an example of Tim Miller following in Leonard Padillas footsteps. Although I feel his organization has a purpose, his misrepresentation has tainted the effort of so many people with good intentions. I would have expected Tim Miller to speak with me one on one, rather than me hearing him on Nancy Grace.”

Miller responded to the statement.

“This is about Caylee, period, the end,” Miller said. “And I would hope, if something has happened to Caylee, I would hope Cindy would want us out here finding her body too. If Cindy wants us to stop looking for her body, guess what — we are not going to.”

Orange County Sheriff Kevin Beary also sent a message to Cindy on Wednesday.

“Cindy Anthony was on national TV demanding an apology from the sheriff’s office,” Local 6’s Louis Bolden said at the news conference.

“(It) won’t happen,” Beary said after a chuckle. “It won’t happen. We are doing our job. What we need is credible information, especially from her daughter and that is a message I send back to her.”

I just went out with the chick for a little over a month, was already getting tired of her but kept her around to cook and clean, and look, now I’ve gotta give depositions and spend time and money cuz I picked Psycho Princess.

There is no way he knew anything about that. He only met Caylee twice. She gave him and his roommates stories about where she was.

Yeah, she was dead that day, either in the trunk of M’s car or in the backyard. Best case scenario she was chloroformed in the trunk “sleeping” and M did not know she was dead yet. Which is crazy because even if she hadn’t been chloroformed she would have died in the trunk from heat or asphyxiation. A trunk of a car at 4pm on a FL day is prolly 130 degrees. Worst case she had been choked and thrown in there.

But I doubt they drove her car to Blockbuster after she drove to his apt. She never had much gas and was always stealing it cuz she couldn’t charge it with her mom’s JCPenny card. She prolly let him drive all the time if she could.

She had told Amy the month before that her parents were splitting up and leaving her the house. Maybe that’s REALLY who the chloroform had been for now that she could thought she could get into people’s retirement accounts.

re: Tony. I’ve taught language (english and otherwise) to kids in middle school, high school and college. Written language skills have certainly deteriorated in the past 30 years because of all of the audio/visual input we get - they just don’t read. Email has truly helped with that. And it’s further deteriorated the way people speak. I complain a lot. But my sis, whose had advanced degrees in linguistics, says that spoken language, which is always less formal and more idiomatic, is expected to be.

gosh guys, have you listened to some of the broadcasters on TV, malaprops galore, dangling modifiers, shitty syntax. I took broadcast communication writing courses. It’s not really writing - it’s hooking phrases together to make sound bytes.
