Hey Tom — What about all those people who need those loans?
Where are you going to send them?
Are you going to lend them money? At what interest rate?
And what are you going to tell those people who are now out of a job.

YEAH!!!!! The pay day loans are dead in Ohio!!! Thank god the parasites who preyed on the poor will have to crawl off to another state for victims.

It was a BIG BIG DEFEAT for the pay day criminals!!

It is too bad to see the government stepping in to legislate everything in our lives. Payday loans serve a purpose and should be regulated like other loan products, but not to the point that they become unprofitable. All that does is take people’s options away!

15.00 per hundred is 15%.People are being mislead by these desperate politicians who use APR on a two week loan.These newspapers that have endorsed a yes vote need to have there heads examined.People of Ohio are getting it because polls show a no vote is where most people are leaning towards.If politicians are smart they need to support no on 5 cause the ones that havent maybe lame ducks.PEOPLE JUST DONT WANT TO BE TOLD HOW TO SPEND THERE MONEY!VOTE NO ON ISSUE 5

Wow, thanks for telling it like it is! Let’s hope that Ohioans are paying attention and will realize the impact this flawed bill will have on their future. Any reasonable person will plan to Vote NO on Issue 5!

Great posting on why Prop 5 is bad for consumers. Too much nanny state activity from our friends in Ohio. Ohioans should be free to choose what’s in their best interest.
