. Dunham left Hawaii for Seattle in August 1961, 15 days after obama was born. In the early 1960s women were “required” to spend a week in hospital after giving birth. Fact.
Eleanor Nordyke has never made any statement that she had met obamas mother in the hospital as this comment from the preceding post tries to imply :

Although it is important for obama to release the long form birth certificate, it is NOT AN ISSUE of whether he was in fact born in HI to most American Citizens. The issue is the battle he fights against producing such a common little ordinary document.

In a ward of the Kapiolani Maternity and Gynecological Hospital on 1319 Punahou St, Honolulu, Hawaii, Eleanor Nordyke was in labor with Stanley Ann Dunham (Barack Obama’s mother). It was August 4, 1961. At 7:24 PM Barack Obama was born. The following day Eleanor Nordyke delivered twin daughters. On August 13 and 14 the Honolulu Advertiser and Honolulu Star Bulletin respectively announced Barack Obama’s birth along with the name of his parents and home address on Kalanianaole Highway, Honolulu. This information was routinely provided by the bureau of vital statistics as a public service. Eleanor Nordyke subsequently received copies of “Certificate of Live Birth” for her twins, which listed the time/date/place, parents name/citizenship/address, hospital name and attending physician/nurse. This certificate was more of an internal hospital record of a birth, which vital statistics people used for their convenience by adding the bureau’s name to the certificate. This was carried in the national media triggering a huge outcry for Obama to produce a similar document. However, in 2001 Hawaii decided to convert its vital statistics files to a digital data base with computerized reporting from hospitals. This conversion was completely coordinated and was designed to meet all federal and states legal requirements. including privacy laws. However court challenges occurred with three US SUpreme Court decisions validating the new CERTIFICATION of Live Birth nation-wide.
This is the certificate Presidential candidate Obama presented in 2008, after Hawaii issued same in June 2007.
It has been challenged and questioned by birthers and supporters since and several courts have turned back lawsuits. Kapiolani Hospital spokesperson have consistently stated that privacy laws prohibit the hospital in either confirming or denying a persons birth, but birthers have falsely claimed that the hospital claimed “no record of Obama’s birth.” Hawaii state authorities have repeatedly released official public statements attesting the validity and authenticity of information/documentation proving Barack Obama’s birth in Hawaii. Nothing seems to satisfy the birthers because their aim appears to be totally political in nature. Would sworn statements from Eleanor Nordyke, her family members or former Kapiolani doctors/nurses help lower the noise. I differ to wiser heads.

The fight over the Obama birth certificate also seems to be based on the clearly wrong notion that the US issues birth certificates or that Hawaii was not a state when the President was born. Article IV, Section 2, Clause 1, states: “The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.” US Citizenship is thus deteremined by the state of birth.

Article II, Section 1, Clause 5 states: “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President;….” also requires that a President be a natural born Citizen, since those a Citizen at the time of the adoption of the US Constitution are long dead. This thus raises the question of what is a natural born Citizen, although common u9nderstanding means born in the United States borders. A test of McCain’s eligibility to run would have settled the definition of natural born citizen to either include or exclude those born as US citizens by law (naturalization and laws conveying citizenship to those born on US military bases outside the US or to an American parent living or visiting abroad.

There is no doubt whatsoever that President Obama is and always has been a natural born citizen. Even the year Obama was born doesn’t raise questions since Hawaii was a state before the President was born.

People with common sense would realize that President Obama could not have even obtained a US Passport to make his trips abroad if he had not proven his citizenship, which is a condition of obtaining a passport.

The State of Hawaii has vouched for the authenticity of the President’s birth certificate, and states in general are converting to electronic records of birth instead of keeping on paper millions of pages of original birth certificates. What the format of the birth certificate was is largely determined by the year of printing and not the year of birth.

Knowing someone is a “birther” just makes them easier to ignore.

If as some have suggested that this is just the Presidents way of giving the opposition the finger then that isn’t right either. We need to be straight forward in the USA. That’s the change I’m hoping for.

A lawsuit challenging Mr. McCain’s qualifications is pending in the Federal District Court in Concord, N.H.

There are, Professor Chin, Constituional law Professor, argued in his analysis, only two ways to become a natural-born citizen. One, specified in the Constitution, is to be born in the United States. The other way is to be covered by a law enacted by Congress at the time of one’s birth.

Professor Chin wrote that simply being born in the Canal Zone did not satisfy the 14th Amendment, which says that “all persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States.”

A series of early-20th-century decisions known as the Insular Cases, he wrote, ruled that unincorporated territories acquired by the United States were not part of the nation for constitutional purposes. The Insular Cases did not directly address the Canal Zone. But the zone was generally considered an unincorporated territory before it was returned to Panama in 1999, and some people born in the Canal Zone when it was under American jurisdiction have been deported from the United States or convicted of being here illegally.

The second way Mr. McCain could have, and ultimately did, become a citizen was by statute, Professor Chin wrote. In Rogers v. Bellei in 1971, the Supreme Court said Congress had broad authority to decide whether and when children born to American citizens abroad are citizens.

At the time of Mr. McCain’s birth, the relevant law granted citizenship to any child born to an American parent “out of the limits and jurisdiction of the United States.” Professor Chin said the term “limits and jurisdiction” left a crucial gap. The Canal Zone was beyond the limits of the United States but not beyond its jurisdiction, and thus the law did not apply to Mr. McCain.

In 1937, Congress addressed the problem, enacting a law that granted citizenship to people born in the Canal Zone after 1904. That made Mr. McCain a citizen, but not one who was naturally born, Professor Chin said, because the citizenship was conferred after his birth.

Hawaii has a document, certification of live birth for American Citizens who have children abroad who are not qualified to be citizens of the U.S. These citizens of Hawaii must have a way to get their children in and out of the country with them and need some type of birth documentation. However, the documents do not state they were born in the U.S. but in the country they were really born, but states that the parent is the actual parent. Get an education would you?

1. I have a birth certificate in my safe presentable to anyone at anytime. Why didn’t BO have this around before the primary?

2. It was different time back when BO was born. Hawaii had just become a state 2 years earlier. Meaning it was the wild west. If a mother new what was good for her son-especially with all the drama of her Kenyan hubby-she needed to establish that BO was an “american”. Bishop McRae asked Ms. Obama specifically,“Were you present when your grandson Barack Obama was born in Kenya?” This was asked to her in translation twice, and both times she specifically replied,“Yes”. It appeared Ms. Obama’s relatives and her grandson, handling the translating, had obviously been versed to counter such facts with the purported information from the American news media that Obama was born in Hawaii. Despite this, Ms. Sarah Hussein Obama was very adamant that her grandson, Senator Barack Hussein Obama, was born in Kenya, and that she was present and witnessed his birth in Kenya, not the United States. I spoke directly with an Official, the Principal Registrar, who openly confirmed the birthing records of Senator Barack H. Obama, Jr. and his mother were present, however, the file on Barack H. Obama, Jr. was classified and profiled. The Official explained Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. birth in Kenya is top secret. I was further instructed to go to the Attorney General’s Office and to the Minister in Charge of Immigration if I wanted further information.

Since Senator Obama’s birth was reportedly in 1961, birth records may or may not be available, so I felt it very important to obtain the testimony of his grandmother as a first hand witness, since it is commonly known throughout Kenya, and especially around the Kisumu area, that Sarah Obama was present when Barack Obama, Jr. was born in Kenya.

Obamas Kenyan grandmother says he was born in Kenya… Obama may be ineligable to be president if he was not born in the US. That what makes Obama refusal so puzzling — if he does’t produce the vault certificate - it leads to endless speculation that he has something to hide..

The worst thing about it is the media bias in not reporting this and making it an issue of national security. It seems money talks and he knows he can just buy his way through and ignore our laws since he probably knows them better than all of us. What a smug man! I hope that what I fear is not true for all of us. I can only cast my vote for McCain and pray that we all see him for what he is.

If I were Obama’s lawyers, and if there was a good, authentic, birth certificate that proved Barack Obama’s birth in Hawaii, I would tell him to instruct the Hawaiian Department of Health to provide a certified copy to every journalist who asked about it, to the Courts and plaintiffs in all the lawsuits, and to make the original available for inspection by any expert forensic document examiner any litigant or news agency engaged to examine the birth certificate for authenticity. I would tell him to come clean, and end the speculation. And I would tell him that the speculation could cost him the election.

But that’s not what Obama’s lawyers are doing, they’re filling motions for summary judgment, not on the merits of the case, but on “technicalities,” at least in the Berg case, arguing that Citizens, voters, do not have standing to enforce the United States Constitution, and at least one judge, Richard Barclay Surrick, has agreed.

But what Obama and his lawyers and the Democrat National Committee (DNC) are not doing is being open and honest with America. They’re tap dancing faster than Richard Gere in Chicago. So we are forced to this conclusion as a matter of logical necessity:

1. If Barack Obama could produce a good birth certificate that would verify his status as a “natural born citizen,” he would. Failing to do so can only hurt him. Failing to do so can cost him the election.

2. He hasn’t, and is doing all possible not to.

3. Therefore, we can only conclude that he can’t, and that his birth certificate, if it exists at all, is either altered, forged, or shows him born outside the U.S. We have to conclude that producing his birth certificate, if he can, will prove he is not eligible to be president, not a natural born citizen, or not a citizen at all. We can only conclude that Obama and his lawyers know that producing his birth records will hurt him even more than not producing them.

Now, I could be wrong. Barack Obama can prove me wrong by producing a good birth certificate. But he hasn’t. Will he? Can he?

PART TWO
NO “STANDING” TO SUE?

In the case of Berg v. Obama, US Federal Judge Richard Barclay Surrick agreed with Obama’s lawyers and ruled that Berg, as a citizen, as a voter, has no “standing” to enforce the United States Constitution. I have read that other agencies have asserted that only another presidential candidate has standing to sue respecting the qualifications of a candidate, presumably because, arguendo, only another presidential candidate could be injured (lose an election) as a result of a non-qualified candidate on the ballot.

This may be the most patently absurd, illogical, incomprehensible, astonishing, mind-boggling, and utterly stupid argument I have ever heard in my life – and from a Federal Judge, at that. And if I didn’t make myself perfectly clear, let me know and I’ll try again.

Let’s do the analysis.

1. The U.S. Constitution is a CONTRACT between The People, The States, and The United States, the federal government, that defines and limits the role of the federal government, and the rights of the States and The People, and, among other things, defines and limits the qualifications for president, i.e., that the president must be over the age of 35 years, and must be a natural born citizen.

2. Any party to a CONTRACT has standing to enforce it. This is as basic as it gets. Contract Law 101. First week of law school stuff. And it seems that lawyers and judges all over the country have forgotten all about it. Also, the Constitution was intended to benefit all American citizens, We, The People, and in basic contract law the intended beneficiaries of a CONTRACT, i.e., us, also have standing to enforce it.

3. If We, The People, do not have standing to enforce the CONTRACT, the U.S. Constitution, then it is unenforceable, and if it is unenforceable it is just a historic curiosity that means nothing. It’s just an old piece of parchment. But that was not the intent, and to give intent to the CONTRACT it must be enforceable by its parties and beneficiaries.

4. We, The People, have standing under the First Amendment “to petition the government for redress of grievances.” If we have a grievance that a non-citizen, illegal alien, is running for president, I think the First Amendment unequivocally gives every American citizen standing to sue the government to redress that grievance and enforce the Constitution.

I think Judge Richard Barclay Surrick is dead wrong, illogically wrong, irrationally wrong, legally wrong, I think his legal analysis of this issue, in legalese, stinks.

PART THREE
THE DUTY OF CONGRESS

Article II, Section 1, requires that upon taking office the President of the United States shall take the following oath:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of the President of the
United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution
of the United States.”

Article VI, Clause 3, requires that Senators and Representatives requires:

“The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the members of the several state legislatures, and all executive and judicial officers, both of the United States and of the several states, shall be bound by oath or affirmation, to support this Constitution . . .”

Members of Congress take this oath:

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservations or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God.”

Having taken this oath, Sen. Barack Obama has violated his oath of office if he is refusing to disclose a birth certificate that proves his candidacy for president is unconstitutional, and I believe this is a mandatory basis for his impeachment.

Having taken these oaths, the President, the Vice President (an executive officer of the United States), every member of the Senate and House, every member of every State legislature, and every executive and judicial officers of the United States and of each State, has a mandatory duty per Article VI Clause 3 of the US Constitution to “support and defend” the Constitution, and that would necessarily include taking whatever action is necessary to assure that no person who does not meet the Constitutional requirement of “natural born citizen” ever becomes President.

And every Federal Judge, and every Justice of the Supreme Court, having taken this oath, also have a mandatory duty to “protect and defend” the Constitution by doing whatever is necessary to assure that no person who does not meet the Constitutional requirement of “natural born citizen” ever becomes President. Indeed, I believe that the Supreme Court has a sua sponte duty to resolve this dispute by ordering, on its own initiative, the immediate production of all of Obama’s birth records in order to confirm his place of birth, and prevent the election of an UnConstitutional President. So far, all Justices of the Supreme Court have failed this mandatory duty.

So far, the President, the Vice President, every member of Congress, Democrats and Republicans alike, ever Federal Judge and Justice, every member of every State legislature, and every governor, have failed in this duty. They have all failed to fulfill their oaths of office. Every one. They must all demand that Sen. Barack Obama either (a) produce a good birth certificate proving his status as a “natural born citizen,” or (b) withdraw his candidacy before November 4th.

All those who do not should be impeached for having failed their oath of office.

PART FOUR
THE GREATEST SWINDLE IN HISTORY

If Senator Barack Hussein Obama cannot prove that he is a “natural born citizen,” then Obama, the Democrat National Committee, the Democrats in the Senate and House who support him, and others such as former president Bill Clinton who openly support him, have perpetrated the greatest swindle in history by falsely and fraudulently misrepresenting Obama as Constitutionally eligible to be president, concealing the truth about his place of birth, thereby inducing millions of Democrats by the fraud of concealment, by the lie of non-disclosure, by “trick and device,” to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in the Barack Obama presidential campaign to elect an UnConstitutional President.

My opinion.

Note, this is a fraud perpetrated by Sen. Barack Obama, the DNC, and hundreds of Democrats in Congress, on their own constituency, the Democrat voters of America. It is a fraud of the Democrats, by the Democrats, and perpetrated on the Democrats. And it has defrauded Democrats out of more than $600 million.

According to their oaths of office, every Democrat member of Congress has an affirmative duty to assure that their presidential candidate is constitutionally qualified. As soon as questions about Obama’s birth arose, every Democrat in Congress had a mandatory duty to confirm his eligibility by demanding release of his birth records. But, they have not. Not to my knowledge. Instead, every Democrat in Congress is complicit in the cover up – the cover up – of Obama’s birth certificate, by failing to demand full disclosure to confirm his place of birth.

In my opinion, unless Obama can produce a good birth certificate proving that he is a “natural born citizen,” then every Democrat member of Congress, every person managing Obama’s campaign, every officer and director of the Democrat National Commitee, and every person who has ever taken an oath to “support and defend” the Constitution and is now supporting an UnConstitutional candidate for president, has participated in a vast left-wing conspiracy to defraud millions of Democrats out of hundreds of millions of dollars to elect an UnConstitutional President.

In my opinion, every one of these people, hundreds of them, should be prosecuted for fraud under the Racketeering Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO), for if Obama is not a “natural born citizen,” that is what the Democrat National Committee (DNC) has become. And every one of them should be tried, convicted, and sent to prison for decades, for this is a $600 billion swindle of America’s Democrats, a swindle perpetrated by the DNC and Barack Obama.

Now, I could be wrong. I could be wrong about every opinion I have expressed here.

Sen. Barack Hussein Obama can prove me wrong, quickly, simply, easily, by opening the doors of the hospitals and the Hawaiian Department of Health and showing us, showing America, showing the Democrats, all of his birth records.

It has to do with the fact that we as Americans (of all ethnic backgrounds) are required in a lot of instances to show our live birth certificate not a record of birth which he is passing off as official. I do not want to see a record of birth this proves nothing. By Hawaii and Kenya sealing his records this shows that he has something to hide. Call your state’s dept of vital records & ask. Or just go down to your local health department & ask them.

Remember: While it’s quite true that nobody much likes an I-told-you-so, it’s always important to remember that they *are* the ones who were right the first time.

Section 3. If, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term of the President, the President elect shall have died, the Vice President elect shall become President. If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.

Hawaii’s Governor Lingle sealed the vault birth certificate because it was requested in Andy Martin’s lawsuit that it be sealed until his case is heard on November 7th. It’s sealed so no one can tamper with it or remove it. It’s basically being treated like criminal evidence in a police locker. Unless Obama authorizes a copy being made it’ll be introduced in a courtroom.

Someone asked how Obama could have gotten a U.S. passport. That’s easy enough. US senators are given a diplomatic passport. It automatically comes with the office. How Obama traveled outside the country prior to becoming a US senator is easy too. He used his Indonesian passport. He’s still a citizen of Indonesia. His passport records are also sealed. That too is evidence that will come out in a courtroom.

“Standing” becomes a non-issue if and when Obama becomes president-elect. The 20th amendment clearly gives every citizen a civil right to have a president-elect qualified (35 yrs old, 14 yrs a US resident, natural born citizen) before he can become president. Civil rights violations don’t require specific damage - deprivation of the right is damage in and of itself.

What I expect is going to happen is that this will quickly reach the USSC after the election if Obama wins. Discovery will be allowed, the evidence considered, and Obama will fail to qualify by a 5-4 split decision.

I believe that this would be such a huge embarrassment for everyone involved that they’re all silently hoping that McCain wins fair and square so this can quietly swept under the rug. Ane we’ll certainly see some new laws that require pre-qualification for presidential candidates in the future.

There can be no other outcome if Obama is not a natural born citizen. The United States cannot be seen ignoring its own constitution. The example that would set to constitutional democracies and aspiring democracies the world over is unacceptable. The U.S. is a nation of law and the constitution is the basis of that. Failing to follow the law is something that happens in banana republics not the world’s leading example of a democratic republic.

I do not doubt that he was born in Hawaii, but what is there to hide on the ORIGINAL birth certificate? My guess is that if he is not producing it there is a reason that he feels would negatively effect his chance of being elected. For a politician the election is everything. Just SOME of the facts;
Obama has released just one brief document detailing his personal health. McCain, on the other hands, released what he said was his complete medical file totaling more than 1500 pages. After criticism on the matter, last week the Obama campaign also released some routine lab-test results and electrocardiograms for Obama. All test results appeared normal, but many details about his health remain a mystery.

Obama has refused to offer his official papers as a state legislator in Illinois, and has been unable to produce correspondence, such as letters from lobbyists and other correspondence from his days in the Illinois state senate. There are also no appointment calendars available of his official activities. “It could have been thrown out,” Obama said while on the campaign trail during the Democratic primary. “I haven’t been in the state Senate now for quite some time.”

Obama has not released his client list as an attorney or his billing records. Obama has maintained that he only performed a few hours of legal work for a nonprofit organization with ties to Tony Rezko, the Chicago businessman convicted of fraud in June. But he has not released billing records that would prove this assertion.

Obama won’t release his college records from Occidental College where he studied for two years before transferring to Columbia.

Obama’s campaign refuses to give Columbia University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in political science, permission to release his transcripts. Such transcripts would list the courses Obama took, and his grades. President George W. Bush, and presidential contenders Al Gore and John Kerry, all released their college transcripts. (BTW, just to be fair…McCain has refused to release his Naval Academy transcript.) I think McCain should come forth with those too!

Obama’s college dissertation has simply disappeared from Columbia Universities archives. In July, in response to a flurry of requests to review Obama’s senior thesis at the Ivy League school, reportedly titled “Soviet Nuclear Disarmament,” Obama spokesman Ben LaBolt told NBC News “We do not have a copy of the course paper you requested and neither does Columbia University.”

The senator has not agreed to the release of his application to the Illinois state bar, which would clear up intermittent allegations that his application to the bar may have been inaccurate.

Jim Geraghty of the National Review has written extensively about Obama’s unwillingness to release records related to clients he represented while he was an attorney with the Chicago law firm of Davis, Miner, Barnhill, and Gallard. Obama was required to list his clients during his years in the Illinois senate. “Obama listed every client of the firm,” Geraghty reported, making it impossible to discern which clients he represented.

Obama has never released records from his time at Harvard Law School.

Obama also has not disclosed the names of small donors giving $200 or less to his campaign. An exception to the finance-reporting laws exempts the campaign from reporting those who donate less than $200, but that law never envisioned the more than $300 million that has been raised by Obama in small amounts. The Republican National Committee has released its small donors, as well as McCain’s, on a public database.

I find it dispicable that even some Democrats don’t feel that as a tax paying American citizen, they also don’t deserve to have these questions put to rest.

Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign says his campaign will bring a new level of honesty and transparency to the White House. Obama proudly touts that he and Sen. Tom Coburn, (Rep.) passed a law requiring more transparency via a public database of all federal spending.

But when it comes to offering the public documents about his own public and private activities, Obama’s record for openness gets an “F” grade.

Change? Yes Change can be good or it can be bad. It seems that there are some out there that don’t seem to care!! Good? Bad? Who cares?!! We just want CHANGE!!

Healthy discord in American politics is fine - that’s what makes America great. But to participate in the spreading of outright lies only diminishes our great country. As we say in Hawai’i, “Enuf already!”

I am two years younger than Obama and was born in Louisiana. I was born at home and the only people present were myself, and of course I have no recollection of the event, my father, who delivered me and is now deceased, and my mother. I looked over my birth certificate recently and went over the information on it. While I am certain there are records from the doctors my mother took me to shortly after my birth, the actual deed was not registered with the Office of Vital Records by my father until six months after my birth, at the time we were getting ready to move out of state. It clearly states on the document the address and Parish where I was born. Obama admits in his book that he has a copy of this document, so why is he refusing to produce it?

I also went over my college transcripts and there are fields on it that indicate what your citizenship is as well as what grants, scholarships, and financial aid you received during your education there. I am sure that grad schools would have similar information on their transcripts as well. Again, if there is nothing to hide, why not simply produce the documents and put the rumors to rest?

I think that the most important information in this case is that he traveled to Pakistan in 1981, which is admitted by his campaign, which was a no travel zone for US citizens at that time as Pakistan was under Marshall Law. On his way there Obama stopped in Indonesia to visit his sister at which point, in order to get into Pakistan, he would have had to get his Indonesian passport renewed in order to travel to Pakistan. The only way he could have renewed his Indonesian passport would be to declare himself an Indonesian citizen (his school records from Fransiskus Assisi show he was recognized as an Indonesian citizen as a minor, http://www.daylife.com/photo/01u33pL9Ns06D), because in 1981 Indonesia did not recognize dual citizenship. This would mean that, AS AN ADULT, Obama gave up his US citizenship in order to get his Indonesian passport. If this is not the case, then Obama should not have any problems producing his US passport showing that he traveled to Pakistan in 1981. Records of this should also be maintained by the US State Department.

While POTUS is a federal office, it is the responsibility of the Secretary of State to vet candidates. My thought is that he has claimed his extensive travel and connections to other countries qualifies him to handle foreign affairs as President, so he should be required to produce documentation to support claims of where he has traveled (his passports), where he was born, as well as his college and grad school transcripts. I will ask the SoS office tomorrow to properly vet Obama as a candidate and demand that Obama produce the documents requested or be removed from the ballot. To be fair, I think that the same should be done for all other POTUS candidates, however I doubt that anyone else will have a problem producing the documentation. Again, all he has to do is produce the documents to put an end to all the questions out there.

I freely admit I’m a dinosaur, an endangered species — I’m an honest conservative. Therefore I’m using my brain, not voting McCain. Interestingly enough, I found that there IS no group who is responsible for verification of someone running for office. The individual simply has to “attest” that they meet the requirements.

I am a Democrate as is my Union husband. I first saw these allegations and blew it off thinking “Here goes the Republicans, trying to dig something up” BUT, then, because I like to be well informed about my candidate, I sat down last Saturday to do my own research.

After researching it all, I am now not comfortable placing my vote for Obama and neither is my husband.

It does seem to be that there are some real questions here on much of Obama’s background. Here are the documents that Obama wants to keep sealed for some unknown reason;

His Occidental transcript
His roomates at Occidental
His Columbia U. Transcript
His Columbia U. Thesis
His Harvard Law transcript
His articles for Harvard Law Review
His financing for college & law school
His source of substantial funds to travel to Indonesia,Pakistan, Kenya while a student
His association with Rezko, Broadway Bank
His voting record in IL senate, including the “present” votes
His voting record in US Senate
Bills he introduced under his name in IL and in US Senate
Identification of millions of dollars of donations clearly in violation of election law and from foreign countries

And like someone else said earlier….WHAT documents ARE in Kenya that are getting sealed?

Now I was always under the impression that he who has nothing to hide, hides nothing. What IS he hiding?
