The reason why I say that YOU state is because you ADDED at the end of what you were quoting this opinion of yours.(See that nice little line that you put under that statement to indicate that it was part of the quote) I dissected what your link stated and NO WHERE does it say "Anyone falling into these categories is considered natural-born, and is eligible to run for President or Vice President." Also, look at where the link is coming from. Sure it is part of Cornell Law but why not look at the exact copy of the Constitution and the Articles itself? Cornell Law is still second hand. But what you are forgetting is this: it is not the fact that Obama is or is not a citizen (that is easy to get in our country) the fact remains that he cannot PROVE that he is a NATURAL born citizen. You can be born on the moon and still become a citizen of the US. Also, the birth certificate normally shows more details on your natural birth, like the doctor who brought you into this world, here (in this case the US and what state), the place of birth (very important as to place you where you were born....no questions there) and the name of your parents if known (sometimes there is an unknown father). But the point is this people: to be able to become the President of the U.S. you have to SHOW proof of being BORN here. He (Obama) cannot prove that! Lets say for argument sake that Obama was truly born right there in Hawaii, heck, lets say even in one of the first original 13 states, if he cannot prove that he was born in the U.S. as a natural born citizen, than tough luck! I think there should be a new law that states you have a BIRTH CERTIFICATE and that it should be recorded on permanent records in your state, there there won't be any questions. Those are also public records. He is our President, sure, but he is also a citizen (not natural born until proven otherwise). They should be MADE public! What does he have to hide? Why not make it public for all to see once it is authenticated? As Americans, we should have asked this prior to him running for the office of President! This way, Biden becomes president and we still have a Democrat as president. However, if discovery is made before inauguration and Obama is declared ineligible to run for office then McCain is the winner by default: Biden does NOT automatically replace Obama as president-elect. Watch this case as it goes through the courts. The Democrats will delay, delay, delay by asking for one continuance after another. I firmly believe this matter will be determined in the US Supreme Court, hopefully before inauguration. Here's an interesting sidebar question. Even if his mother did give birth to Barack in Africa and did sneak her son into America and walk into a hospital and pretend he was born here, HE WOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER AND A BIRTH CERTIFICATE THEN! So he would have no need to forge a document that he can easily request a real copy of. Even if he wasn't born in the US, it is apparent that the man has a social security number. He has been employed and payed taxes for decades. Obviously he is in the state files as being Barack Obama born in Hawaii so... THERE WOULD BE NO NEED TO FAKE A BIRTH CERTIFICATE. Doesn't someone running for President have to have as much scrutinization or even more than the men and women they may be Commander in Chief of. It is scary to think that he may be this close, less than two weeks out, and no one knows for sure if he is a real citizen. Now, however, I think he's a lot more than that - not a positive thing. I have to say it would be a dream come true to finally discredit this guy and call him out for the scam that he is. And specially his obvious dis-respecting our U.S. Constitution and there laws therein. There are now eight states that have declared a war on finding out the TRUTH ABOUT OBAMA and hopefully this war will be carried on by others to whom wants to know the TRUTH BEHIND OBAMA. This refusing of presenting a valid document of birth should be a slap in the face to all Americans that had to proved there birth certificate or other peace of a legal document just to be legal to vote or to obtain a job. The seat of President is not above the law and that has been proven many years ago with several past Presidents.
