umm...professional wardrobes cost money, and one doubts JCPenney suits that the governor owns would work on a campaign trail. Imagine the jokes about dowdy clothing if she tried it.

the real story is that Palin didn't own such clothing in the past, so it needed to be bought.

When I was working for an HMO, I had to dress professionally, and believe me, it costs if you want to have the suit fit and look your best. It has to be good quality fabric, well sewn, and be fitted. Do you know how hard it is to find such suits? Ditto for blouses, undergarments, and shoes.

Women's suits rarely fit, and unlike men's suits, they don't tailor them for free.

On the campaign trail, suits get wrinkled, so it might mean three suits a day, for a week...more if Trig decides to burp on you...

ps I agree to disagree with what you have to say about Bob Hayes. But please note that it would be impossible to conclude his assertions are correct if he deleted my comments.

Bob gave davidschussler (another writer) the right to post his own opinions contradicting own opinion rules, until I pointed it out to him. He had to go back and delete davidschussler's opinion.

He was evidently angry with me and in effect asked me not to post on his thread.

Well hopefully when Obama is elected we will move away from these polarizing scenerios, and let the others on the right whine for 4 to 8 years.

I will give it a rest, but wanted you and other readers know what goes on with his articles and people who wish to comment.

I thank you for taking time to both read and comment on my posts Rich,

Robert Hayes is the founder of B.N.N and while we may take polar opposite views on many political issues he is one of the very few right of center bloggers who's views I respect even if we disagree

When you think about it the very fact my post's are published is evidence that B.N.N does not censor or black list writers who express a liberal perspective.

I looked at the Article in question and he made valid assertions and cited credible sources in expressing his conclusions.

While you and I may feel William Ayers is a non-issue in respect to Barack Obama's fitness to become President, many others feel it along with his long association with the Reverend wright is the primary reason they could never vote for him.

Between you and I, do you think in the twenty plus years Barack was in the pew he never heard Reverend Wright go full wind up on black liberation or he really was unaware of Who William Ayers was?

I do disagree with those worry the relationship was more than casual and politically motivated.

just has I have no worry John McCain is anti-Catholic despite his association with those who are rabid Catholic haters or that G.Gordon Liddy or his son would have much influence in a McCain white house.

Again thanks for expressing your views and remember vote early and vote often, well you know what I mean

Hi psburton,

Wanted to note that the 10 point national lead is a little decieving. The battle ground states will make the final decisions come election day. The early voting may be an indicator on which way it will go but dont get to hyped up on the national 10 point lead.

Purging of voters is what the Republicans are up too. Obama has some of the best legal teams at the ready for this.

It's funny Bob Hayes another writer for this blog is on a fact finding witch hunt trying to connect Obama to Bill Ayers.

Let him go on his supposed fact finding research it only serves a sliver of the right fringes that care about it.

Yea the voters would like to know that the Republicans are spending well over 150,000 dollars on Sarah Palin and the kids clothes to look pretty on TV.

How about the third grader who asked Palin what a VP does? A question she got 3 times before and got it wrong all times! This is beyond funny, to think a person could get this close to being a VP She is either lazy or down right stupid for not knowing what the Office of the Vice President does!

At this point "Joe the Plumber" would be more qualified to be McCain's VP.

As for Bob Hayes, he can continue to go on his witch hunt fact finding mission. The secret is the people who will make a difference on this election don't care about Bill Ayers.

I wish Bob would let me express my views to him where it would be more appropriate but hey this is a democracy (republic) we should not stand to be silienced.

A word to others be prepared to be deleted, edited, and/or warned by Mr. Hayes if you so choose to express your views on his articles.

Thanks again psburton for your article.
