Sean, most unfortunately many female victims of a crime committed in their own bedroom (with or without clothes on) were attacked by perfect strangers thru no fault of their own.

The first thing I thought of was a stalker. Happens a lot with people on TV and in movies.
She might have been followed home and when she put her key in the door the man pushed in after her.

The second thing I thought of was:
The doorbell rings. She answers the door. Someone who she may or may not be acquainted with pushes his way in and shoves her back to the bedroom. (That happened to a friend of mine) That's why I'm scared to pieces to answer the door to strangers. And there are lots these days - damn door to door solicitations for everything from magazines to petitions to political crap.

So those are two ways a stranger can get into a woman's bedroom without breaking in.

If she was out the night before maybe someone "escorted" or followed her home and pushed their way in.

Another thing I thought of was an acquaintance/friend or professional acquaintance whom she trusted enough to have in her home but who attacked her. That also happened to a friend of mine.

Or it could have been a date that went really bad. Still not her fault. And that happened to a friend of mine.

The problem, Sean, with what you are suggesting is the way you that you are suggesting it SOUNDS like you are placing blame on her.

Of course the police are going to investigate her whereabouts the evening before. But jumping to the thought that she was out at a club, that it had to be someone she invited in makes it sound like it was her fault and/or someone she knew. Is that what you meant?

This lovely lady gets up at 4.30 am in order to be at work in time. In her type of job, bet she goes to bed be around 9 pm in order to look great/rested on TV the next day.
No time for clubbing when she has to work the next day IMO.

I agree that may sound bad, however it does make sense. Did she have clothes on? Remember she was found in bed. No signs of forced entry. So she knew the person, well enough to be in her bedroom. That's not rocket science. Stop letting the political correct BS get in the way and go with the most likely, or most probable. Trace her movements from the night before.

to make an assumption she is good looking therefore she must have been clubbing is indeed an insult...its usually a disgruntled boyfriend or jealous person... so sad.. I hope she survives...

Sean,

Listen to yourself you state she is "good looking" does that suggest she was at a club the night before because she is good looking?

If She was not good looking you would not assume she went clubing the night before?

This is an insult to ugly women who go clubing as well.

Rich, read carefully. No signs of forced entry, shes good looking, where was she the night before? Hence my question, what club was she at?
